Small established park (1907) aside the Rover Wandle over even terrain features a playground, skatepark and meadows.
The idyllic pond latticed with bridges and pathways through dense vegetation encourages views of the water habitats.
An attractive segment of the River Wandle Trail and worthwhile seeking out.

Suburban nature reserve managed by the redoubtable London Wildlife Trust and encircled mostly by the River Wandle and the railway track.
The only entrance on River Gardens with a variety of pathways meandering through the confined terrain over bridges, through woodland, ponds - varied flora and fauna habitats
A “contained” environment evidencing meticulous maintenance.
Exemplary, quiet and well-worth seeking out.
Delightful.
( why are dog’s allowed here ? )

The Thames towpath walk from Teddington Locks to Petersham firstly passes aside a former gravel pit Nature Reserve, continual thin belts of woodland interspersed with sodden wetland and then the open meadows of Ham Lands and Ham Palace.
Wide, even pathway surface with ease of passage for wheelchair users, mostly shaded with pleasing views of the Thames Northern Bank, Eel Pie Island and memorably a panorama of Mable Hill House revelling in its Georgian exactitude.
In Spring and summer splashes undergrowth colour provided by bluebells, bugloss, dandelions and the occasional clumps of sleepydick (star of Bethlehem)
Be mindful of cyclists and there be no free toilet/refreshment pitstop en route.

A replica of the original located approximately here (circa 1891), scrapped for munitions in WWII.
Pleasing grassed surrounding set back and separated from the Thames by a regimented colonnade of mature Plane trees.
The decorative elements perhaps less elaborate than its more illustrious “kinsmen” spread over London, the intimate and evocative setting here makes criticism superfluous.
A popular Sunday music programme here during Summer.

Historic 5 kilometre gentle “dog-leg”walk along wide gravel road or towpath aside the Thames from Hampton Court Palace to Kingston Bridge between the Thames and extensive Hampton Court Estate.
There’s neither pit-stop” nor toilet along the northern bank, lined with mostly Chestnuts, affords expansive views across the Thames, the residences that n Ravens and Steven’s Iots, the extensive Palace gardens, and various skulling and sailing facilities and their exerting practitioners.
The birds and waterfowl.
Even surfaces allow for ease of walking without the need to shudder whenever a cyclist streaks past.
Rightfully celebrated, peaceful and so very nutritious.
