In a city full of straight lines, Lombard Street sticks out fantastically and is worth a short trip to see.
The road is seriously tight and twisty so I wouldn’t really recommend driving down it, but the cable trolley stops right at the top as a great alternative.
The gardens are meticulously maintained, and I spent more time than I should working out how everyone got onto their driveways/garages from the road 😂

This is a quick stop to view a unique and famous street. Sunsets and sunrises are extra special here. Take a walk up the side to get a feel for how steep the road really is.
Located in Russian Hill. Very safe area. There are some beautiful views out into the San Francisco Bay from here. The trolley has a stop right at the top of Lombard Street.

I got the opportunity to visit and drive down Lombard st on my 61st birthday. It wax a bucket list check and absolutely worth the wait to do it. The flowers are absolutely beautiful and thank you to the neighborhood for sharing their beauty.
Nice place, but crowded. There are cars driving down this beautiful road constantly. There's a police officer at the top of the road regulating the traffic. It would be great if the traffic would be stopped for just one minute every once in a while so that you could take some decent pictures without the cars.
This place is so nice! So many musicians are out there playing music! Give them a donation! They are out there entertaining & would be nice to give something! This is also a nice place to watch the plans come in to the airport

A great place for family fun. There is a trail that walks along the water way with lots of side streets full of shopping, great restaurants and galleries.
So what can you say about the Brooklyn Bridge! It’s such a historic place and the sites were amazing. This was the first time I actually took the time to talk across. A totally recommend if you have the time and the sunscreen. Such a great day and enjoyed it immensely.
For $1, definitely worth it. You have to buy your tickets in advance. The building is beautiful inside. The view is amazing, though the windows are very small. The only negative point during my tour was the blur/transparent windows system of the elevator; it was not fully working and we had no good view on some particular signature stones during the way back down.
If you watch the news or read history books, you'll recognize the art and architecture of the Capitol building. Seeing it in person was inspiring.

A very touristy yet cool destination. From here you can see Pier 17 which is also another interesting spot to visit. They have a 360 degree photo booth everywhere, if you go with family or friends dont miss it.
Such an iconic site in the heart of Washington DC. Whether you come by in the daytime or the night, the views of this monument are fantastic and so many chances for great pictures.
Off in the distance at night you can also get a great view of the state capitol building. Beautiful views.

Undoubtedly worth the walk. Very busy but many great sports for a photo nonetheless. Views are awesome, naturally, and great spots in the middle of the bridge for food and accessories.

Beautiful building! Decor is very patriotic!
Beautiful bridge with amazing views of Manhattan. During the sundown is the best time to get those “golden hour” shots. If your looking to buy any souvenirs, wait until you get to the Brooklyn side of the bridge, as the prices are cheaper for key chains and hats. You can also see the Statue Of Liberty.
very beautiful and powerful building. four lanes in each direction two levels. after replacing the payment with an automatic one, it became much more convenient to drive. the view from the bridge is mesmerizing. the passage under it of huge sea monsters is impressive still didn’t constantly repair it, it would be generally good. and so very good work of engineers and builders
It was a breath of fresh air. People were so nice and welcoming. Very fur baby friendly. Met a wonderful couple celebrating 37 years of marriage at The Wharf. Didn't realize until we left that we were in a historic district. Wonderful place to visit.
This is a must-see attraction in New York! This bridge is an iconic piece of architecture that lets you go from Manhattan to Brooklyn and vice-versa. You can cross it walking to have a great view of the bridge. But you can also take a ferry on Pier 11 to take you to DUMBO Park. The views you have from the ferry are phenomenal. Once you are in Brooklyn, you can enjoy the amazing views of East Manhattan, admire Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge, and enjoy the number of great restaurants in the area.

This is a very cool medium sized Gazebo on the New Orleans Riverwalk. During French Quarter Fest it is sometimes used as a bandstand and is used for other venues from time to time. It is also open to explore by people in the area.

Definitely worth a visit, especially at sunset. Here I have taken the most beautiful pictures from all over NYC. Finally, the road for cyclists is separated from the pedestrians, and has its own separate line on the side. Unfortunately, you cannot enjoy the view of the city from the bicycle line because it is located below the level of the bridge and secured by a high wall. My advice: around 5:30 p.m. cross the bridge towards Brooklyn with a city bike, take wonderful pictures of the Manhattan Bridge from Washington Street and the old Pier 1, and return around 7 p.m. via the Brooklyn Bridge on the sidewalk towards Manhattan. - you definitely have the most beautiful view of the city. - valid for the period Mai - September.
A special feeling to stand in the middle of the Capitol and see what is probably the best-known symbol of democratic forms of government with your own eyes. The tour was first class, very well presented and conveyed.

The monument is pretty cool. Today I learned that it is supposed to honor George Washington. I went up to the top and saw the whole city and other cool stuff. The tower has a lot of history and stones with messages from different places. The people who work there were nice and smart. I had a blast at this monument and you should totally check it out. Just get a free ticket online before you go.

It was quite empty, this was a weekday. It looked like you would expect, a bit over the top. Trump branded products everywhere. I just couldn't help thinking of Space Balls, "Merchandising! Where the real money is made". Still it's something you should see once, but I wouldn't go out of your way either.

This was an amazing building that featured a lot about us history on the inside. Would recommend getting tickets in advance and also to go on a day that had good weather and not too hot. Had to reschedule since it was too hot and it closed since they were fixing the ac. Top has a great view but not much at the bottom. Good for family and kids or solo.

On the weekends you can park for free roadside. Then you walk into the Old Town Alexandria Area to patio Restaurant eating, Street dancing, guitarist playing in the street, loud jazz music entertaining sightseers and passers by, you had your salsa dancing in the street, lots of pedestrians walking in the middle of the street and entered entertaining and enjoying entertainment going on around them. There was probably a total of five or six beautiful wonderful ice cream shops that look quite delightful.
Several shops of all kinds of antiques, clothing, shoes different apparel jewelry that were storefront, various restaurants and bars from your three star restaurant and bar to your five-star restaurant and bar, as you approach the pier it was just absolutely beautiful the water and seeing all of the boats, there's a lot of entertainment activity going on all around you and the short area where the water is.
There was a DJ playing in the middle right before the water that was entertaining everyone.
You can bring your family down and enjoy a picnic order food they were individuals also with our laptops up and doing some work. The Ducks were very friendly and they would be coming right up to you to be fed. It was absolutely beautiful, calming and peaceful! Wonderful family atmosphere perfect for date night and just getting out and taking it easy. A great place for a girls night for dinner and a good time. Great safe walking environment for family and friends.

This monument is extraordinary. It has a beautiful and spacious park built around it which many use as a picnic area or to play sports. It's so tall that you can see it from five blocks out or more. I didn't take a trip up to the top, but being able to walk up to it was actually a really cool experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting DC for the first time.

Beautiful bridge in New York! I was next to it on a pier with a nice park you can walk through and take pictures. Another small little park like area as well by the ice cream shop. Good place to check out if you're in New York and want something low key. Accessible by ferry. Family friendly.
People who love to explore history DC is a good place to spend time. Majority of the places are self guided and no need a admission tickets. But parking is real hustle in DC. We have parked around 1 mile away from the monument and cover all attractions by walk. You need a day to walk around city taking pictures for your memories and explore history.
White house from outside, world War II memorial, Lincoln memorial, reflection pool, monument all can cover in 1 day and everything is 15 min walking distance max.

Great spot to walk into the lobby and see the golden escalator.
Peaceful. This location offers a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling nature of New Orleans (when no social events are being held in the gazebo). It looks over the beautiful Mississippi river meandering in curves. You can see ships passing by. Young oak trees with nice benches to sit on are next to the gazebo. As you sit facing the river, behind you a few meters away, streetcars are going by. The Jackson square is nearby. The best time to visit is in the evening. Breeze blowing, air cooling down makes you feel nice. I saw many families taking a walk. Looked like a safe place in daylight. If you have decided to walk the royal street, the gazebo is a nice stop to rest your feet.

Highly recommend!!!! Whether you’re a local in the DMV or a visitor, old town is a spot you should definitely get to know. It’s the most adorable little town right by the water. The streets are very clean and the area is dog friendly and kid friendly. There are so many great places to dine with a variety of cuisines that cater to all!! Old town is right by on the Potomac and close by the Reagan National Airport so you get to see the planes fly overhead.

Beautiful views! This is a perfect place to meet up with a friend or loved one. There are plenty of restaurants and parking nearby. The marinas have covered seating for greater admiration of the water. I loved walking around here --- the place is absolutely gorgeous.
I visited the “Trump Tour” owned by a he 45th President of the United States and I was blown away by it’s incredible architecture and design. This is a stunning tourist attraction. The he trump tower has a wheelchair accessible entrance, restrooms, restaurants in outdoor seating area. It also houses private living residences and businesses. Theirs a gift shop here and I recommend checking it out. #IAMAJSUPERNOVA

I took my students here today for a field trip, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The educator and staff greeted us with such kindness, and they were so welcoming. Our educator, Emily, was full of knowledge and it was so engaging to watch and listen to her. My students enjoyed interacting with Emily, answering questions, and making connections to movies they have seen. This place is such a gem and there is so much to gain from your visit. The Bowne House is so rich with history, and I can't wait to learn even more on my next tour. I am definitely bringing my family and friends when they come to NYC. I'd give the Bowne House 10 stars if I could! It's well worth the visit!
If you are a DC visitor, it is a MUST place to check out. It is free about 45 mins tour dig to the history and learn fun facts, suitable for each age. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and nice people. Our tour guide named David was fun. They have restaurant and gifts shop that you can purchase some sovinrours.

Do not miss visiting the US capitol. The building is amazing and the history it tells is a must do when visiting Washington DC. You can do a free tour where a guide is telling you a lot of facts about the building, the people who worked here and the ones who still work here. You can experience the history of the government of the United States here better then any where else.

It's an amazing building with its history. Really enjoy listening to the tour guide when she explained the history of the building and the statues of each states. One of destinations should visit when in DC. Before visit, should register your date of visit at US Capitol's website.
Definitely a great place to stop and spend some time! Lots of restaurants and shops in the area and it's a very scenic area. It's a short (20 minute) walk to Jones Point Park, and it's right off King Street which is lined with great, unique restaurants and shops! If you're thinking about visiting Old Town, make sure you start here!
Putting aside your political preferences, this is a nice and interesting place to see very close to Central park.

This building is absolutely beautiful! Rather you are a fan or a hater of Trump, you need to see this building! The outside of the building is really cool, but the inside is incredible!! There are stores and restaurants inside, but just the views of the floors, walls, windows, fountains, and greenery are enough to make this place worth visiting!!!

This monument was an amazing site to see while visiting Washington D.C. Recognizing the appreciation Americans hold for their country's history brings smiles to many. This statue, in particular, commemorates the service, courage, and sacrifice General George Gordon Meade and his men made during the American Civil War. His dedicated time to the U.S. Union Army has ensured prosperity for many years to come.
One of the oldest homes in NYC. Built in 1661 by Englishman John Bowne who later became a Quaker. Great gem in Flushing Queens to bring the children or for architectural buffs to view this beautiful home.
George Gordon Meade, “The Hero of Gettysburg,” is a largely overshadowed general whose adoptive home state of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania erected this monument in 1927 in his honour and memory. There was lots of debate about whomever should sculpt it and where it should go, and ultimately it was Charles Grafly from Philadelphia and placed on the grounds near the Capitol and other Union general, Ulysses S. Grant. This is an allegorical sculpture with Meade surrounded by his values. This was moved and neglected for years, perhaps like General Meade’s legacy, but fittingly, it now sits on Pennsylvania Avenue. I would highly recommend a visit, you never know when the mob will turn on it and tear it down. Cheers.

This is one of the very few civil war memorials dedicated to the side that won, the union. It is a quick and easy stop while you’re walking from the newseum to the Capitol.

The monument was created by Charles Grafly in 1927 and is made of Tennessee marble. It shows a a war time Union General Meade standing upon the front line of a battle scene.
Meade is surrounding in circular fashion by allegory of figures, each depicting a visual representation of the traits (Loyalty, Chivalry, Progress, Courage, Energy and Fame), which Meade believed were required to make a great war general.
The Meade monument is memorable in DC party due to the more abstract nature of the monument's composition, compared to the many other conventional and traditional style monuments to important historical American figures.
Overall, this one is less of a priority compared to the more famous monuments directly on The Mall. However, for those with an interest in the American Civil War, this is an important one to find and see.

Nice, good sized shelter that served as a good music venue during French quarter fest. People can frequently be found hanging out here in groups. It is on the corner of the Riverwalk and has good views.

Lots of history. Bowne was an Englishman who came to the United States for religious freedom in the 1600's . The Dutch were angry that he was holding religious services in his house in Flushing. They sent him to Holland for a trial. He was pronounced not guilty and was sent back to Flushing. He continued holding religious services in his house. You should check to make sure the house is open because renovations are going on. You could still tour the gardens and see the history of the house
