My niece was on stage here on her school play No Exit. The venue is intimate and confortable.
Went to see The Winter's Tale at the Helen Gardiner Playhouse. It's an intimate theatre with a rich history. The venue forced the team to be creative with use of space and audience and that made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!
I was nervous the seating would be awkward, but the slope was great for a short person like myself to see above the head of the person in front of me. This is usually an issue with small theatres, but not this one.
Lovely building with great staff and students. Folks are friendly and helpful. Don't be shy to ask for help!
Sometimes there are drama 🎭 kids or whatever smoking just by the door, even though no one's supposed to smoke 🚭 within 9 metres of buildings in the University. You'll have to be vigilant whether to hold your breath or not whether you're going in for God knows what or just passing by round the corner. SMH!
Great intimate theatre. Seats 117, but there is no AC in the dressing rooms or backstage. Also the little sinage outaide is hidden by shrubs - many of our guests got lost. Nonetheless - Great price and awesome technical team to work with.
Theatrical venue at University of Toronto. 117 seats with average acustics so avoid sitting near the back.
