Times Square is electric! Early in the morning it is pretty empty but as the day continues people continue to poor into the area. We were there at midnight when they synchronized all the screens for a display of a geometric pattern. While the synchronization was cool the imaging was a let down. Street performers are all over which is what you expect from a place like this.

If it's your first time in NYC, it's a no brainer. Must see!

It's always packed with people, performers and police. You will get plenty of offers for hop-on hop-off tours, Broadway shows, and even artists trying to sell digital downloads for crazy amounts of money. If you're polite and tell them you're not interested, they'll leave you alone.

Bright lights, large crowds, lots of stores, restaurants, hotels and other buildings. A lot of picture taking, lots of traffic...and a whole lot of life. A very busy area but full of life and everything that New York City has to offer for visitors.

It is an impressive place with so many screens. They only advertise.
People dressed up in costumes to take pictures.
and people doing tricks and juggling.
They have a lot of stores of souvenirs.
Food Stan, they sell hot dogs 🌭🍗🍦🐑🐖
Everything is expensive, $$$.
So be prepared.
Have and just here fun.

I visited New York city to attend a training programme and took the opportunity to tour a few locations. Among these were: Times Square, Bowling Green in the Financial District to see the Charging Bull, the 911 memorial and the Brooklyn Bridge. Due to the time of the year I visited, the Bowling Green, 911 memorial and the Brooklyn Bridge areas were not crowded so one was able to take some pictures in quick time. Times Square while not very crowded, took some time to maneuver. The Times Square location is very commercial and there are plenty of vendors on the street. At night you see a sea of lights not only from the headlights of cars but also the advertising screens on many of the skyscrapers. For a person who likes to experience a fast-paced city, bright lights and street entertainment, I would recommend a visit to New York.

Great city. Some of the people are very rude, so be prepared! It was very expensive but worth every penny. You appreciate that Britain isn't that expensive in comparison.
Would definitely go again as the positives outweigh the negative.
We stayed in the Crowne Plaza Times Square, and the location was perfect.

Incredible vibes. Could have spent a whole day there probably. It's amazing when you're standing there yourself and not watching through a screen, really was something else. Great selection of shops, restaurants and bars too.

Maybe too many random people approaching you asking you to buy stuff for my liking, and who were quite persistent, but that was my only gripe.
