1414 Texas Downtown

I have voiced my concerns about how unsanitary and uncleanly the outside of the building has been for years and feel like my concern has fell on deaf ears. There is a huge issue with dog feces being EVERYWHERE around the building. Dog feces carries disease, pathogens, parasites and bacteria, it can make you or your pet very sick. If they step in it, they also can track it in the apartment, I have taken a few photos just to share how bad it is and it needs to be addressed.

Just an idea: Start fining residents for not cleaning up their dog feces. I would also make sure we are keeping adequate bags available for residents to use to promote cleaning up after their dogs.

These photos are a half a walk around the building and not taken in multiple walks - It's truly how bad it is. If a manager walked around today I bet this is exactly what they would see, I didn't take photos of all of it but you get the point.

The staff here are amazing! The are all professional and responsive. The property is quiet and safe. I love my apartment and view. 1414 is the perfect location to get out and walk to a ball game, the bars on Main st. or a restaurant. They even offer a trainer 2 days a week as a bonus. I will recommend this property to anyone.

I wasn’t sure about living downtown but it has turned out to be an overall good experience. The make ready cleaning could have been better but the community and staff are great. Everyone’s so friendly and helpful.

We have been here about a year and it has been a very positive experience. I highly recommend 1414 Texas Downtown. If you love the Astros, you will love being in your seat within a few minutes after leaving your apartment. It's upscale, clean, well maintained and quiet. Great amenities like a workout room with high quality (and functioning) equipment; huge pool area and lounges; huge reservable downstairs entertaining area; reservable 8th floor sky lounge; free L2 charging for my EV, separate trash and recycle pickup, and much more. Parking garage feels safe and secure. Rarely can I hear my next door neighbor, and never a neighbor above/below. (It's a relatively recent construction commercial structure with concrete floors--NOT stick built like some other complexes.) The leasing and maintenance staff are top notch. I have had to call for maintenance a few times on minor items, and they are always here within an hour or two. I often feel like I'm staying in a hotel, but it's my apartment! Five Stars for sure.

The location is perfect for us "Empty Nesters". We have a beautiful apartment and incredible amenity spaces still let us get the whole family together for special occasions.

The staff is fantastic and we just couldn't be happier.

My lease at 1414 DTWN is almost over but wow, this apartment complex is amazing. There were a few issues here and there but Brent made sure they were all resolved in a timely manner. This is one of the safest buildings you’re going to find. Security walks around all night and they’re so kind. The neighbors are really friendly. The only con is sometimes the trash valet takes a little too long. Besides that everything is great! The parking garage is very secure and any cars that make it in get tagged and banned so rest assured!

It’s been a great experience living here. The staff is genuinely nice and caring. Any issues arise are handled ASAP!! Brent,Christina and Pricilla are amazing. Emily from housekeeping does a fantastic job keeping the entire facility clean and honestly I don’t know how she does it by herself. When she’s not here it’s not the same. Fantastic immensities and a very secure building. For this reason I have decided to renew my lease.
