Went for lunch a Saving Grace for lunch. The menu was very intriguing, I chose I believe it was called eggs migra with refried beans. Guacamole, super delicious.
Service was great so was the ambiance.
My friends also liked their orders. I believe the menu changes with quite creative way of serving eggs

Behold, the Bermuda Triangle of breakfasts…Look at the plate, the teenie bit of eggs, chickpeas, and the pita formed the Bermuda triangle of breakfast, where did all the breakfast go in the centre of the triangle? No one knows… And it will never reappear.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I haven’t been in a while and returned recently. My breakfast was a little bit of egg, a little bit of chickpeas and a pita. I pretty much finished the meal in two minutes and was wondering when this place went so downhill. It was such good value before. In the past this was the place to have an amazing unique meal that was substantial. Now the meals don’t feel very unique or complex at all and the restaurant is pretty much cheaping out and giving you two dollars worth of food and charging you $17.50. The attached picture actually looks a lot different from past pictures I see of people who ordered the same breakfast. The plates are empty now compared to what they used to be.

Visited on a Monday for brunch, and the space was almost full of local diners. It's clear that this place is popular.

I ordered a mint tea and the Angela sandwich.

The mint tea was loose leaf came in a clay tea pot. I'll be ordering this again.

I like that the rye bread used for the sandwich is thinly sliced and crunchy - great texture and won't destroy the roof of your mouth. I'm unsure about the tomato chutney and aged cheddar pairing used in the sandwich. The salad helps cut through that flavour combo when it becomes overwhelming. I won't be ordering this again.

Service: Friendly servers who have service timing down. The servers checked in on the hot water for my tea. Much appreciated! Thanks for understanding customer body language and being inviting.

Atmosphere: a very cozy space with well used creaky stairs and flooring. The front windows let in a lot of sunlight, highlighting the decor. The building is quite old and needs renovations like many of the other neighbouring buildings. Tables and bathrooms are clean.

Will be back to try more!

Notes:

- Closes at 2:45pm
- Only accepts Canadian debit and cash

This was our second attempt to eat at Saving Grace, almost didn't go, but I'm so glad we did! It seems unassuming when you walk in but the service is so friendly and quick! We ended up ordering their "desserts" which you can do half and half! Which is amazing for people who want to try everything and honestly everything was amazing! We ordered the french toast with caramelized bananas, the raspberry pancakes with lemon curd sauce and, my favourite dish so far, the blintzes filled with lemon ricotta topped with erry sauce. The ricotta was devine! We have already planned to go back just for this item and try a few other items that caught out eyes. Did I mention unlimited coffee refills that went perfectly with our food?

We went there for brunch on a Saturday.. we got there at around 11am and there was a waiting list. We joined the list and got a table for 4 in 15mins..

I got the pouched eggs with breakfast sausage and potatoes and toasts and salad.. the toasts were blended..

Overall it's just okay and I didn't feel it was that amazing as stated by other people.. I probably won't go back there again.. but if you haven't been there before, maybe you should try it..

One of the healthiest brunch places that I have ever been to. Never have I ever tried lentil salads with poached eggs topped with pomegranate, feta, avocados and a nutritious side salad!! Very affordable and good service. It’s a small place so make sure to reserve a table beforehand especially on weekends.

Saving grace is good place for a fast breakfast with friends! People there are nice and very welcoming. Eve was our waitress during my visit there.

She was very kind and polite. She was very careful with the food she suggested to me as it must be halal, she checked multiple times that my order is done perfectly and with halal ingredients.

Overall it was a great experience due to Eve’s hospitality and warm welcoming!

Definitely will be going there again soon🥰
