The live music makes for a great atmosphere.
The etouffee was great! Highly recommend it if you go.
Everything else was between typical and underwhelming.
I’d also say that the wine list left a lot to be desired.
Servers were friendly and got the orders right… but relatively nonexistent most of the night, at least until they wanted to turn the table… at the point they hovered a bit.
Overall enjoyable but more because of the music and atmosphere than anything else.

Me and Hubby went here to see a Beautiful Lady name Nomi her and her band jammed and the food was excellent and the staff and whole atmosphere was a good vibe we really enjoyed ourselves 😉❤️
Fantastic food, fantastic staff, and fantastic performances. Prepare to pay a bit for the drinks, but honestly? The rest of the experience is worth it. Attended the MonoNeon show during Hurricane Helene and the power went out during the show; had a delightful 20 minutes of candlelit conversation with my table-mates before the power came back on and the show resumed. 10/10, would go during a hurricane again!
I came here on a Friday. Stephanie Allen-Stevenson was performing and her voice was amazing and she knew how to entertain and interact with the crowd. I ordered their etouffee it was tasty and a little spicy. I also had three cocktails. My favorite was their called Purple Haze which is new and not yet on the menu.
Great jazz music here! Relaxing fun environment! Nice food selection. Had to converse quietly in lounge during concert. Good drinks. If you like jazz music this is a great place to go!
TJK celebrates 30 years of jazzing us up with the improvisation of jazz. Then they season it with a little rhythm and blues just to remind us that they can and then they turn around and spice things up with little Latin flair every Thursday night. And, let’s not forget the food. It’s just good! For those creole enthusiast they put their spin on étouffée and other New Orleans delicacy like white chocolate blueberry bread pudding. Don’t like cajun food…that’s fine TJK has a lil sumthin sumthin for our Jamaican and Latin brothers and sisters. Bottom line pick a night and GO!
Always a great time and delicious food at The Jazz Kitchen. Went with another couple who shared the robust appetizer sampler. Flat Iron Salad was perfection and will now be something I default to. Bread pudding was amazing, loved the bourbon sauce.
