I’m a driver called two different numbers about ten different times rings 15-20 times then it gets answered put on hold for about 5 minutes then it hangs up or just goes silent they must be really busy or so under staff that they don’t have time to dispatch the loads out then they wonder why you can’t get to the shipper or receivers on time

This company is used by IKEA for deliveries. The first attempt they called 5 minutes before arriving. Waited 10 minutes and left. They said they would call 30 Minutes before and policy is to wait 15 minutes. They did neither. Second attempt they state a road closure will not allow them to make the delivery and no alternate route was available. Window was 12-4, they called at 6pm to reschedule. We live in Chicago. Literally multiple ways to get to a location. Contacting IKEA corporate to advise they find a better service. Never had so many problems with deliveries. If you need a service reach out to YRC. Multiple deliveries from them with 0 issues.

If you are a shipper and your account is assigned to Richard D., you would be best served finding another transportation provider. He is the most unprofessional person I have encountered in 10 years in logistics. Rude and unreasonable do not begin to describe this man. He berates his own colleagues in email chains with customers and partner carriers still attached, IN ALL CAPS. He verbally abuses people over the phone, belittling them like children. He is so rude, his own colleagues at XPO refuse to book his loads because they hate dealing with him so much. Think about that for a minute. If your account is assigned to this man, your freight will not move! XPO as a whole is a great company. There is really no reason to waste your time with such a substandard account rep. Request another one!
