When we visited Victoria back in late June, we noticed that Victoria Harbour House was located right next to our hotel and decided to have dinner here.
The interior is a bit homey... Nice place for a romantic dinner. We started off with a Moscow mule (didn't look like any Moscow mule we've had before).
For our starters, we picked the lobster bisque (which was really good) and the French onion soup. We weren't overly hungry so we just grabbed a lobster tail as well as the seafood en croute which had an assortment of seafood baked inside pastry. Inside, there was a rich and creamy sauce with lobster, prawn, crab, and mushrooms. The seafood en croute is a can't miss if you come here.

The lamb was delicious but I dont think this is a good place for tourist. We have no idea why we are served rudely. We have tried to ask about the portion of the lamb and the waiter rudely inform us that we have to order 1 dinner for each person without providing any recommendation. When serving dishes, my girlfriend was asked to remove her own plate rudely. We clearly see difference in attitude when serving us and other customers and that’s definitely not a good experience for us.
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant.
The service we received was absolutely remarkable; the gentleman who served us was polite, humorous, and well educated. Dining at this location is more than a meal it is an experience.
I highly recommend a reservation as they open at 430 and by 530 the restaurant is near full. However, I made my reservation 30 minutes before attending on a Monday and they were very accommodating. While we went all in with several alcohol drinks, 2 appetizers, two generous and extravagant meals and two deserts, there are items available on the menu for every budget.
We ordered and throughly enjoyed:
STEAMED MUSSELS, SHRIMP SCAMPI, CHATEAUBRIAND, and CRÈME BRULÉE.
I was able to take a quick look at the kitchen on my way in and it was a spotless, well run kitchen. They do have a dinning area with water view as well.
You can feel the history as you step foot into this amazing establishment. They have been in business since 1980 and they have gentleman working for the establishment who have been with them for 40+ years.
I will definitely return and I highly recommend you give this gem a try!
P.s plenty of parking available! Free spaces on sight, in addition to street parking, and I noticed a parking garage across the street.

We enjoyed a very special family dinner here recently - 13 adults and 2 children. I cannot say enough about the service, ambience and attention to detail, the food, the wine - the whole experience. Thank you Harbour House and the lovely James for making this evening a special time and one that will be remembered by all of us.
I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Victoria Harbour House Restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, and the views of the harbor added a special touch to the evening.
I couldn't resist trying their famous steak and lobster, and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and paired perfectly with a mouthwatering lobster tail. The flavors were sensational, and the portion size was generous, making it a truly indulgent meal.
Aside from the delicious main course, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening.
The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the dining experience, from the beautifully presented dishes to the thoughtfully curated wine list. The combination of the delectable food, stunning waterfront setting, and top-notch service made for a truly memorable and enjoyable evening at Victoria Harbour House Restaurant.

4/5 and 4/6/23: It’s not often good cuisine meets stellar service and wonderful atmosphere! As a solo diner, I didn’t feel slighted and was seated at a window table. I had the spaghetti bolognese on day 1 and returned to have steak & prawns with the house salad on day 2. I was a happy grandma. Thanks, Julie!
Celebrated my husband's birthday in this quaint and home style atmosphere. Waitress was attentive. Food was very good. Been in business for 40+ years. Would eat here again
