I used to work at a top floor of the building right next to the park. My window has direct views of the whole park. Seeing the 4 seasons of the park is something always amazes me. Summer is my favorite time in this park. Art installations, musics… also watched couple US open here. Fall is magical with the air that’s so crisp and sun so bright. Plants changing colors. We will come here daily while work. Cut through the park to work, having lunch, taking nap and the best is come see the dogs when I need the break from work. This park is small, but feels just the right size to host people’s need. Come here to sit and just experience life in nyc.

Love people watching and animal watching here. You’re bound to see birds, squirrels, and dogs. I have seen some rats here late at night, but thats to be expected with any NYC park. Nevertheless, this park has always lead to great memories.

Beautiful little park next to the Flatiron Building with walking paths, grassy areas, and lots of foliage. Beautiful flowers. Canopy trees keep the area shady and cool and provide a habitat for birds. At least two nice fountains, a few monuments, and plenty of benches. Great view of the Flatiron Building. This park is also near the Harry Potter store and the interactive Museum of Mathematics. On Thursday at 2pm, the park was busy with locals and a few tourists relaxing and enjoying the weather. Saxophonist Chris Johansen (who plays often with drummer Fukushi Tainaka) was playing with a trio in the park the day we went. His bass player was fantastic! They were tight and it was very enjoyable. What's better than sitting in the park on a nice summer day listening to live jazz by fantastic musicians?

Park with several subsections and activities when in season. Nice respite from the rat race underway in the surrounding jungle of asphalt and board rooms. Meticulous landscaping and not too many homeless people hogging benches by sleeping stretched out.
Very nice small park in the city. If you need a break from the sky scrapers and concrete this park is a nice resting spot. Plenty of seating and lots of green grass and a nice variety of plants.

Madison square park is a lovely place where spend an afternoon with family and friends.

There are always very talented people playing Jazz music 🎶

In the square there are also table where people can sit and eat.

The only disappointing point is that the park is a bit dirty, since many people eat there and leave the empty containers on the table.

I think that something should control and make sure that such a beautiful place is kept nice and clean.

Little tiny park within Manhattan will give you a nice, perfect view to relax and take rest if you are visiting the town for a day! Dogs park at the west/north corner definitely entertain you. Usually, there are some volunteer artists who want to express themselves by showing their talent, from painting to dance or even fine art... wide variety of birds also is a significant part of this park during spring!
