Been many moons ago. I attended Franklin kg.- 6th grade. I was there when segregation first started. It was 1959 when I started kg. Franklin was always the best!!! I think in 6th grade I had a teacher Mrs. Hanger. I think I remember a few earlier teac hers: Mrs. Mcmann, Mrs. Champlin. I miss Franklin. I can remember when they added the addition to the school on west side. Wow!!! I am 63 now.........where did the years go
Best elementary school in all of Omaha. Many great memories in the early 2000's.

Kellom was the first school I went to kindergarten thru 3rd grade! I grew up right across the street from it! my favorite school love visiting it! my favorite teacher was MS Penn(Smith)! she was so nice, l loved going to recreation there after school many fun & happy memories at kellom school

I went here when I first came to Omaha from California I was a kindergarten in 1999 and the teachers were mean when everyone left they would turn off the lights and told me to play in the dark while they go talk to teachers upstairs and they would make fun of kids who couldn't really talk English or kids who make believe like I did when my parents drop me off

I had many friends and when i left I got in trouble just to find the phone number because it's such a great school I made my anti bully club there with mr Saunders and ms kalman so yea I miss that school
