It is a good place for rock music lovers. Just it was a bit loud.

Tbh I was a bit skeptical at first because there are a million restaurants in Times Square. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I have never has a more juicier burger ever and the pasta was so creamy!! Must try if you are in Times Square!
Food was ok (but not exceptional) and I don't think I've seen Forge Irish Stout elsewhere, but I'm docking them a star for automatically adding an 18% gratuity to our party of 3 and adding about 3% for credit card processing fees. Lack of ice with the water may give you the European feel, but I would have preferred the feel of cold water after waking around NYC in June.

Good venue for music, but it was the only thing that made us stay and endure the rude staff. I have no plans to go back there ever again, and don’t suggest anyone to go experience that themselves. There are many other venues in NYC that I’d prefer.

I went over to watch the UFC fight and I couldn’t have had a better time with the help of Joe the bartender. He gave me & my wife the best service and kept us laughing the whole time. Definitely coming back when I’m back in the city!
perfect venue and space! My brother has performed many gigs here and it’s always top notch

Great space for talented musicians. Nice sound system, friendly staff and environment. Chaser salad was excellent and the humus with peta bread was outstanding!

Had a nice lunch at Playwright Tavern today! The food was really enjoyable, especially the Thai chicken salad, which was flavorful and well-prepared. The venue is very spacious with plenty of TV screens, perfect for catching a game. The bartender was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. It's a solid choice for anyone in the area looking for a drink or meal in the Times Square area.

Joey is a great guy! Top notch service, happy, upbeat personality. And he saved us Texans big bucks by giving us a crash course on taking the subway instead of a taxi! Many thanks, Joey!

I’ve visited the Bitter End twice over the last month after not being there for 30 years. I saw two great acts, James Maddock and Guthrie Trapp. The sound is fantastic, the acts were top top shelf, the staff is great as are the customers. Oh, and the price is right! Thanks for being there

Piss stinky place that is not accessible for disabled folks! 0/10 would not recommend. We asked for an accessible seat & the option was to sit in the high top seat away from the stage or pay an extra $20 PER PERSON for seated area. So many other better venues that are queer and disabled friendly with kind and accommodating staff

They charge you 10$ for entry and then they force you to buy 2 drinks minimum on top of that, and of course the drinks are unnecessarily expensive. Staff is very rude, especially the waitress. Music performances are good but when the whole place makes you feel unwelcome it's hard to enjoy yourself. Pretentious vibes

We came down for the songwriters collective evening as this is a historic venue in NYC and we were keen to visit. Iconic location which has seen ALL of the greats over the years and continues to offer opportunities to new (and older) talent. While perhaps we didn’t see the next Joni, Bob or Neil Young we did enjoy everyone giving it their best and the service was great and the host was enthusiastic about each act. A great and memorable evening for us and we would definitely go back. Plus some great graffiti in the washroom 😀

Ive been here several times and always very happy with my experience

Service- from the bar to the restaurant, all friendly and attentive

Food- very good and quick. Reasonably priced for the area

Atmosphere- great Irish bar/restaurant feel
This spot has been here forever. Staff is friendly and the food is good. Prices are reasonable. This is a well known restaurant/ bar for locals. Lunch and dinner crowds are all business people. This spot gets a A+ for years of consistency with n quality and price

Intimate space for live music. 2 drink minimum. Bonus- they have hot coffee! Watch your step on your way to the bathroom!
If you like smaller, intimate venues than this is the place for you. Drinks were very fairly priced and they had a lot of options. A HUGE plus is the coat check - something you don’t find all too often when going out nowadays. Would definitely go back to this venue! Had an absolutely blast.

First time attending a concert here and it was for Haluk Levent. His concert filled this entire venue and it was one of the best I’ve been to! Great atmosphere, we had an amazing time. Even met him backstage :). Definitely recommend.

It was my first time joining a concert in here. I really like it. People had a lot of fun. I was standing because I purchased my ticket that way. If you get your ticket this way, just go little early like 20 or 15 minutes before the concert and get your spot. Dress up shoes wise your comfort zone, and enjoy your concert. If you’re a Turkish person remember to be kind each other 😝and have a lot of fun. This was my experience! Thanks to Serdar Ilhan organizing some awesome concerts so, we will see our favorite singers and musicians!!!

Caught an amazing jazz show by Grammy-winning Mingus Big Band on Monday night. The whole band killed it! Totally enjoyed the performance and definitely planning a return. Everyone played their hearts out – pure musical magic! All the pieces are well planned out. Incredible.

Went to go see new Indie band K.O.I. they helped book an amazing headliner last night from New Jersey. All the bands last night were totally amazing worth coming out and breaking daily cycle with coming out to this venue. Sound guy is amazing and security is great. Had an amazing time . Thanks K.O.I. for bringing in the fresh new year with the entertainment to expect into the new year. Can't wait for you next show at Mercury Lounge.

We went there for a new year eve dinner. The place is bit congested but the food was very nice. Even though we had reservations , they looked very clue less about seating and arrangement.

Also be ready for a long restroom que on a busy Friday/ Saturday evening. Unfortunately since they have only 1 rest room per floor.
The servers are great and friendly.

Exposed brick and dark wood everywhere. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. It’s the perfect spot to pop in and regroup from the madness outside.

This place has history! A beautiful intimate venue with a stage, exposed brick, and casual table style seating. There’s a wide variety of music and performances that happen here - I loved the way it felt easy to connect with the performers.

Still one of the all-time best clubs in Manhattan. Just small enough, excellent sound, great staff. Love it. If you have a favorite band and they just happen to be playing at “The Merc”, you are in for a treat.

A great 4-floor Irish pub with great food. We had the pot pie and beef stew. Would definitely get both dishes again. For a place adjacent to Times Square, it didn’t seem too touristy!

Came here for a special 5 different bands show and had a lot of fun.

I was starving and ordered a lamb-beef burger with salad and it was pretty good and fresh. I don’t usually order food at bars/clubs, but I had no complaints here.

It’s not good to dance on a completely empty stomach, so I was happy I could have dinner there and then dance the night away to awesome live bands.

The prices are high, well by CA standards, but good pub food. My partner had one of the Fall specials, Cajun red snapper, and said it was exceptional. My Reuben was okay, nothing amazing, too much sauce, not enough sauerkraut and meat

Came across this pub by walking down in New York exploring since this is my first time going to New York. I love the atmosphere and the life entertainment when a man was singing in the other room where people were drinking and having a good time. The food is very great the service was also great. I would definitely recommend this place when I come back to visit New York again
Great music bands performing tonight for 30 minutes. The Dye was great. The space is large with a bar at the front entrance. Cover charge at door is $15 in cash. You can pay online but there's a fee. We paid at the door. They've a free water fountain & cups so ok if you don't want to buy anything after you get inside.

It may be a small venue but they always fill up on their events. I was here for their Swift night and Emo night and it was amazing. At first it seems empty but when the crowd shows up it gets crazy. The bar has beer for $8 and shots for $13 plus tip. (New years they had a free shot with a purchase deal). They have several types of beer, like Dragons Milk and Voodo Ranger juice Force. They also have high noon seltzer. If you want to get smashed quickly, I'd recommend going for the 9% vodoo ranger IPAs. If you get a table, it's usually 20 per person, so what I like to do is buy one of their wine bottles for $50 so I can sit with my crew. The bar tenders are really friendly and the veriaty of events held here never disappoints

I came here with my husband for dinner around 7:30pm on Saturday night. Despite the prime time, there was no wait and we were seated right away.
The waitress was very attentive and I had questions and small requests with my order but she answered took care of each one of them precisely. She went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen and correcting the order for me when I told her about my dietary restriction.
On top of her great service, to our surprise the food was beyond regular bar food! I ordered a salad with shrimp and the shrimps were huge!! My husband ordered club sandwich and he said his was very good too.
Overall we were very pleased and content with the food and service.

Venue has good lighting and sound, but is very small. I didn't particularly like walking down a narrow area to enter the music venue. It's a cute spot for small shows, but can get pretty uncomfortable for sold out shows. Band pictured is Modernlove. Cheers.
This restaurant was really neat. We ate in the heated structure right on the street. We ordered the Playwrights Signature Chicken Sandwich and it was fabulous, so was the French Onion Soup. We ordered two of their holiday/winter drinks. Delicious, strong, and festive. Service was slightly slow for not being that busy, but it was worth it.

Drom is a great venue. I think The place has super cute vibes it’s a small place which makes it better and cozy .I was honestly impressed by their food menu selection as a bar. They bring lots of great Turkish singer as well so I attended over 10 concerts here and had no issue. Tonight Cem Adrian performed and it was stunning. Stuff is pretty friendly as well. Overall My favorite concert place to have some Turkish night with friends ✨

This old venue is still alive and well with the sounds of music!

It’s amazing how these small music spaces create an intimate moment with musicians who perform here.

I came to see a local Nashville band, Arlie, here! For people who are on the comp list (guest list), it’s very easy for the staff to find your name and verify that you have comp tickets. Otherwise, you can sometimes buy tickets at the door if not sold out.

This venue does several shows a night: an early show starting at 6pm, and late show starting at 9:30, and a late show that starts around midnight!

The room is intimate with the outer walls lined with sofas. But with how good the music is, you’ll want to stand by the stage!

The acoustics are fantastic - the sound engineers properly mix the music to be loud yet balanced and not hurting one’s ears.
