A historical landmark rife with charm and Buenos Aires history. They have a vast variety of spices and imported teas that one cannot find anywhere else in the city.

The wooden interior takes you back in time to the turn of the 20th century while you enjoy a wide selection of food and beverages.

Excellent service.

A must visit for any avid explorer of Buenos Aires.

Very poor quality coffee. Crazy price for a double espresso(and very forcefully told "sin propina", ie without tip included). As far as I can tell a tourist trap. Nice old location, but there are loads of similar (actually nicer) places in BA with much better coffee...and much better artisan coffee shops if you don't care about having a historic ambience. Had intended to go back for a tea, which they seem to specialise in apparently, but now can't be bothered.

Espero volver pronto

I only had tea there. Great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, good collection of teas. Their own label is good souvenir.

Interesting place in Buenos Aires,
coffe and tea place, where you can choose and enjoy numerous of flavoures
of tea, especially. This is the place that city as Buenos Aires must have, and I was really happy to see it today. You can smell that tradition and story they telling every day here, for years and years...

We had their brunch for 2 (8100 pesos). The bocaditos were amazing. The lemon budín was good, but the orange was dry as the desert. The selection of teas and the ambience is what attracted us. The waiter never smiled and had zero personality. If you’re going to work in the service industry, you have to be more congenial.

Pizza margarita ...

We were a bit skeptical when we walked in but decided to give their “brunch for 2” a try, not really knowing what we were ordering. Turned out to be amazing! Very satisfying meal, so much food, we could barely eat it all. The cafe con lèche was also very good. Great value for the price and wonderful experience!

Historical café in the center of BA, beautifully preserved interior and a delicious selection of tea, coffee and pastries! I'd recommend the "classics" like medialunas, as the pound cakes we tried were quite dry but otherwise great stop for breakfast or an afternoon tea!

Great architecture, decoration and variety of teas. This place was recommended to me by a local friend and I think it's one of the Buenos Aires classic visits.

Living around the corner is a great temptation! Highly recommended the "chipa", a tiny bread made with authentic cassava flour. Delicious.
