Such a great place to see the NYC skyline at sunset, and watch a moon or sunrise. Beautiful views!

Randomly stopped by while on a walk. Has to be one of the most beautiful parks in all of the NJ/NYC area. Breathtaking vista

The best view of NYC skyline from uptown going through mid town and then down town . Best time to be here at sunset to see the glowing skyline and in evenings to see the skyline sparking in lights . I can easily spend hours here .
If you're coming her to see a huge, dramatic site....then you'll be disappointed. If you're coming here, maybe as a history buff, to enjoy the site for what it is.....then you'll probably really like it.

Nice small spot for a view of the city day or night. You could sit/lay on the grass or ledge an have a picnic, some limited spaces.

This is a great park to bring your young kids. There are swings, slides, jungle gym, and even the water dispensing bucket. There are benches to sit in and bring food and you have a great view of New York City from across the Hudson River.

Hamilton Park not only offers a serene escape and stunning views of New York City, but it is also incredibly accessible. During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to reach this hidden oasis. The convenience of a nearby bus stop made the journey seamless, allowing me to quickly immerse myself in the park's calming ambiance and breathtaking vistas. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat that is easily accessible, Hamilton Park is the perfect choice.

It is an awesome and quiet park with a fantastic view of Manhattan. Everyone visit New York must visit this place. If you missed this place you are missing the real point of New York. You can get there by the ferry.
I never even figured out exactly where the duel took place, but the park up on the promenade is great for viewing the NYC skyline, especially at night. The parks are so clean, and the neighborhood felt very safe for a solo traveler.

Nice place Hudson river view from new jersey, as well as Skyline of new York. Park timing is from 7 to midnight. You can sit there on benches or grass to enjoy the nice scenic view. You cannot play any game here like skateboarding, ball picking, etc. You can walk or do jogging here on the tracks. The late night view from this park is amazing.

Great playground for kids if all ages! A lot of different things to do! The sliders for big kids are amazing
We went there after the night we watched Hamilton on Broadway! Excellent history and even better views of New York skyline (it was a cloudy day, but still!)
My favorite place to stop for a view of the Skyline when driving through NYC. Street parking only. The park itself has been closed both times I've been (maybe due to covid and it being too early) but you get just as good of a view from the sidewalk.
Nice view of Manhattan, but nothing to really see but the plaques. The gate was chained for the small overlook. The actual area where the duals took place is inaccessible and probably developed from what I could see.

The park is a decent size with a playground, water feature, swings, and a basketball court. It's a bit outdated, and most of the equipment is faded and the swings are low hanging. Some benefits of this park are that it has security guards posted inside to make sure children stay safe, and that it's only open after school hours so you can rest assured no one that shouldn't be in the park will be.

Louisa Park is an ok playground for kids. The view is spectacular, of course. But the playground itself is old, tired and in much need of new equipment.
It’s nice that they have a separate area for the 2-5 age range. But it’s not monitored as such. During warmer months this playground can get pretty crowded.
During the pandemic, the town has been really good about monitoring the amount of people and taking temperatures before people enter.

If you’re entering the park during the pandemic, you must use the back entrance across from the middle school. They’ve closed off the front entrance.

You want to go when the sun is low in the morning or late in the afternoon or early evening so you can see details in your photos. I took the ferry over from 39th st Manhattan to Wehawken/ port imperial. Great ride. Great view of the city $18 round trip. 20 minute walk after docking that includes a steep climb up the cliff on a metal staircase. Still totally fun & worth it if you're a history and/ or Hamilton fan
One of the man historic spots we visited in NYC today. The park is well kept and beautiful with a jaw dropping view of the New York City skyline.

For such a quick drive under the Hudson this is a spot history buffs do not want to miss out on when visiting the city.

The equipment is perfect for a 3 year old and it's all it good condition. There are even sprinklers and picnic tables. Of course the best thing for parents is the stunning view of the city.
