I rated this store a 2 because its clean and only one friendly worker which is a guy dont know his name but a wonderful worker. But every time I go there with my kid the manger has always something to say about customers kids which makes me so mad. But I said let me give this store other try again I go in and a female work kept coming up to me when I was with my kid asking if i was good i said yes 5 times i know where everything was but it seem like she was in every aisle i went down she was there asking me the same thing which creep me out. I will not go in that store while she there something about her sont seem right. As a mother it dont make me feel comfortable going in with my son

First, let me say this searching for sale items on Saturday is fun. My husband's at work, and I don't have anything to do so I wanted to try this. I went to a Dollar General that was a little way out; the drive. I used the app for the first time which tells me what items are in stock. To my surprise though there were a lot of people in the store looking for the deals. Ran into this ridiculous a** Karen who later heard me listening to an IG video publicizing the sale and wanted to talk. I'm in line checking out and she's like oh where did you find this... Chick, please. The cashier said they prepare on Fridays for the sale and make sure things are in their place. I found that many items were hidden and/or out of place. All were in stock. Nevertheless, I believe this hack would have worked for me. Except I couldn't help with picking up other items on sale. I don't think I'll come back to this location to shop. Just because outside of Karen, there were some pretty aggressive other shoppers also looking for Saturday sales. That's nothing against the staff who were very friendly and helpful. But I prefer to shop with people who have manners. I added a video here of me trying to use a brown stick to get a power wash that was on sale but hidden on top shelf behind Palm Olive.

The worst store in the neighborhood. Please do not come here. The register is always backed up and the mobile coupons are never applied correctly. Waste of time.

Store is okay, decent selection of products for good prices. Not as sketchy as the others but still not the best.

Would give zero stars if I could. Showed up at 8:15 on Saturday 9/2. Exit my vehicle to immediately be screamed at by an “employee”… “we not open, none my stuff gonna scan, my other employee didn’t show up, come back in 15 mins!” Then yells something else out her mouth as I’m walking back to my car(this I thankfully did not hear or I would have gave her an ear full). This “employee” should be terminated. She is a horrible representation of the company. I’ve been to plenty of other DGs they will let you shop around while they are getting set up in the morning. This employee should NOT be working in customer service clearly! Get another job hunny, oh or was that the only one you could find!?

The people that own this store is really prejudice and they rob people that don't know the correct price.

Stopped by this place one time and ordered a sub a few months ago. It was so good I had to go out of my way to have another one. I lowered my expectations since consistency is unusual and so I didn't get disappointed but they delivered the same top tier satisfaction again! Will now be my go to place to get subs in albany. Great prices, boars head meat and even the napkin is high quality, super soft and durable. Highly recommend👌

When I went to this store to purchase some cigarettes the cashier insisted that I had a fake $10 bill. I tried explaining to her that the bill was real and her marker is darker because it was a yellow $10 bill. Even a few customers had agreed with me on the situation. She didn't listen to any of us and kicked me out of the store. Well I just left the bank and they reassured me that my $10 bill was real. I'm absolutely disgusted. Please train your cashiers how to properly check and mark ten dollar bills especially.

Good convenience store

Inlike the store itself. But apparently if items are stocked it the wrong spot you have to pay the correct price. Don't bother explaining this to the cashier they dont care.

I stopped in a few days before Christmas and couldn't even get down the aisle. there were so many dollies full of merchandise in all the aisle that I needed to go in. There was absolutely no way to see anything in at least 5 different sections of the store. It was my first time in that location and I was very disappointed.

I go here occasionally, mostly for food shopping and it surprises me how good the prices and quality there is. Even in the other sections of the store everything should sum up to a nice price. Also the workers all give off good vibes and the atmosphere between them is non-toxic.

About the best thing to say concerning DG is the employees. Especially a young lady named Unique she always greets you and asks how you're doing and truly seems concerned about you. All the employees there are friendly and helpful. The problem is the area the DG is in. Too many folk looking for a "5finger discount" and not caring about keeping the neighborhood clean creates a depressed situation which will unfortunately lead to less customers and maybe even closing the store.

This is an update:
What a change. The store used to be so cluttered with merchandise racks you couldn't move around. Yet now the store is clean and shopping is more enjoyable. I'd give it a five star rating now. 3/22

Friendly staff, good beer selection, always fully stocked great &clean store

Since they opened up this is my favorite little discount store to go to wonderful prices terrific products and excellent staff. Well organized well maintained and very easy to find everything. Isles are always kept clean even when stocking. So it's easy for me to manage to come in with my wheelchair school without a problem I thank them so much

Excellent neighborhood convenience store, with basic grocery items, as well as a deli counter.
Sandwiches, salads, grilled items, freshly sliced cold cuts available at the deli.
Large selection of soft drinks and beers.
Very clean and well run by friendly staff.

Always loved coming here when I lived close. They got the best prices and nobody can make a sub like them. They mad cool.

I was very happy to find out that the Dollar General was being built so close to me, a store that up until now,I loved to go to.
most of the people that work there are very rude!
Especially the Manager’s.

Rude!!! I know there were at least two that were very rude !! I’m not sure if both Managers are still employed by your company or not!!!
All I know is there’s a lot of turnover in the
employees there!!! That should have warned you that something was wrong at that store!!!!

Little corner store in the middle of a run down area...they are nice guys honestly and food is decent...the 5 star rating is because of value and quality in a place you wouldnt expect it

Great for everyday items. Go online and sign up for the digital coupons. They are super savers. It is very simple, just create a username, and add your phone number. Click the coupons that you would like to use, and shop your items. At check out simply punch in your phone number and the watch the money come off the total. My go place for just about everything.

It was big but had nothing I needed. The only dressings were ranch and Italian. Only bread was white and wheat. Very disorganized. The employees were buying groceries and cigarettes in front of me and I was in a rush, but they were joking around and taking their time. I asked why they didn't have much of a selection of anything, and was told that it was a "small Dollar General" but I've been in much smaller that had an awesome selection. Not pleased at all.

If I could give them no star I would. The two guys who work at night time are so rude. I was kicked out of the store at 9:30 & their store hours are from 9 a.m to 10 p.m. I told him I’m going to rate him one star on google because of their bad customer service & how rude he was. I will not returning back here.

Dude on the phone is always a DiCk!...customer service is pure ass...No respect at all for their usual loyal customers! I would rather walk the extra two blocks to go anywhere else!

Sweet Lady! Family owned! English speaking is limited but they are friendly! I wish people would stop being so judgemental toward foreign business owners! We are in the land of the FREE if you don't like their business get your own!

Only went to this store in search of a Moneypass atm which they claim to have and did not. Plus no one spoke English to answer any questions. The customer service was not great which is a problem in this town.
