I visit this place whenever I get chance. It has authentic south Indian food. I love sambhar 'without sugar'. Some unique dishes like 'ullund dhosa' (i may have spelt it wrong), rasam bhath, bissibely bhat etc. are some of the authentic south Indian dishes are must try. And not to forget normal Idly, Dhosa are very good. No parking, except some paid parking in shopping complexes around. Must visit if you want to experience genuine south Indian test.

The cheese butter garlic kulcha was a top notch served with kaju mutter masala. It was very amazing as compared to its budget and feel. Calm and composed ambience.
No doubt the taste and food quality is good but they are increasing their rates on regular basis and now the same is not pocket friendly for any common man. A plate of Idli and masala tea at theri outside counter used to cost 70 Rs and now the same costs 115/- Rs this is just an example this has been applicable to all other dishes.
Customers please be alert and try another options available at cheaper rates so the management will come back with better rates.

They have truly mastered the art of serving a delightful South Indian style authentic thali in a Banana Leaf. From the moment you step into their restaurant, you are greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. The meal itself is a feast for the senses, with an wide variety of mouthwatering dishes that satisfied all my cravings. Sri Krishna Restaurant has truly set the bar high when it comes to offering an authentic and delicious dining experience.

I'm visiting this hotel since my childhood one of my go to place anytime. Everything is good here chinese excellent, south Indian food excellent, north Indian very good. They never failed in service nor in there food. Taste is all the same through out many years. Do try here misal pav, puri bhaji, Masala dosa and don't forget to order medu vada these are all time favourite breakfast available here.

Great South Indian food, very. CLose to railway station recently went here for breakfast, theh even offer breakfast buffet.
Good service, quick responsive staff, and a decent environment. However, the waiter lied about a simple tea order, which was disappointing.
Overall, it was a good experience, but the waiter's lie could have been easily avoided.
If you don't serve ginger tea, just say no when accepting orders from customer clearly asking for masala ginger tea.

Nice tiny food joint near Sandhurst railway station. You will find almost every dish of Chinese, mughlai and Punjabi cuisine here. The taste is good & the prices are pocket friendly.

Serves a variety of South Indian cuisine, north Indian as well. I ordered paneer (spicy) and it was the right amount of spice I expected, overall it was good. The filter coffee was decent.

We ordered idli chilly and paneer tikka masala which was okay and average in taste.
Their methi roti was good, atleast you can try once.

A simple and pockey friendly restuarant near our office.. Their services are pretty quick and have homely ambience..
Must have south Indian food, Pav bhaji (even Jain Pav bhaji taste good).

I really personally didn't like the Pav Bhaji that I ordered, Although Lassi was very good.
I recently visited Gopal Krishna South Indian Cafe and had a delightful experience. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional vegetarian South Indian dishes such as dosas, idlis, and uttapams. They also serve lunch and dinner, and even have Jain food options available. The coffee they serve is impressively strong and tasty. The staff at the cafe were friendly. Although the ambiance was simple, the place was clean and well-maintained.

The food was wonderful. I liked the salmon nigiri and my friends were racing over the veg kebab platter. The drinks were good as well. The staff is polite and efficient and masked at all times. I wish they also gave us sealed glasses to increase our sense of safety. The inside bar wall makes for a good photo opp. Worth a visit

A simple restaurant with good food, warm service and homely comfortable environment. Their south India food is really good, of which we enjoyed the idlis, masala dosa & spiced butter milk. Since it was almost end of day, the filter coffee decoction was out of stock and hence we couldn't try the filter coffee. In addition we also ordered Pav bhaji which was tasty and a veg clear soup, which took some time to come, but was worth the wait considering the freshness of the soup. The server was courteous to us, comforting to our little one and quick with service. Overall we were happy with our meal and may visit once again when we are around this area
Overall it was a good experience. I ordered Two veggies Veg Paneer Maratha & Veg Mix. The panner one was very good but the other one was decent. With them I also ordered Butter naan it was also quite soft. Things that I didn't like was that the seating area was quite messy and there was no proper ventilation and second that the service was quite slow. Other wise it was good experience food wise

The Sai Veg World restaurant, which is close to the Goregaon Railway train station, provided us with a great dining experience. The restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home.
We started off by ordering the crispy veg and paneer tikka, both of which were excellent. The tikka had the ideal amount of spices, and the paneer was tender and juicy. The tikka was the star of the dish, and the crunchy vegetables made a wonderful touch.

This hotel is 2mins walking distance from goregaon east station.they have inside and outside seating available. They have variety of food available. From snacks to meals, roti-sabji and various dessert. Dessert they make it fresh infront of you as per order. Hot served. They have in-store dryfruits and various freshly made farsaan snacks available too. Must visit.
We went here for lunch a few of my colleagues tried pav bhaji and a few of us had proper lunch ordering kaju masala, paneer handi, roti chapati and dal Khichdi. The food quality is awesome however a lot of improvements required. The pav with pavbhaji were not hot as required.
The place is a good restaurant for a family dinner. The food is amazing and really tastes well also the quantity of food is great to enjoy a wholesome meal. The place is known for South Indian delicacies but also serves great Chinese and Indian food. It is an affordable place to eat out with a group of friends. Highly recommended. But the washroom needs to be taken care of and maintained.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. We ordered Manchurian dry which was too salty as well as the Veg Kofta curry we ordered was not too tasty and koftas were too doughy. In spite of complaining about this to the waiter he took it lightly , the second time we complained he said he would call his Captain , but he didn't come . At the time of billing we raised the same point again then too no answer. This is not what we expect from the service after spending 2000 bucks. Will definitely not prefer this restaurant again in the future.
Vaibhav Hotel is exactly Opposite to Andheri Stn (East) I was so shocked ambience so cozy for family and friends to enjoy dinner lunch brunch together at a same time is reasonable too and so good in taste we ordered Veg manchow soup, Panner 99 , Butter Naan, it's a pure vegetarian restaurant with extensive menu to enjoy south indian, North Indian, shakes , juices etc

When it comes to Southern Indian food i have very high expectations and constantly look out for uniqueness that is synonymous with almost institutions like existence of some southern food outlets. I read a lot about idli butter pudi at this place and decided to visit, having seen that they also serve filter coffee my resolve to visit this place grew even stronger.
The restaurant is clean and hygienic.
Prices are on the higher side compared to quantity and taste of the food. This alone makes me feel it is not worth a second trip to this place.

The coconut chutney was plenty which was a delightful sight but the sambar was served in the most tiniest utensil i have seen in any restuarant. Sambar taste was nothing exceptional but also not bad.
The pudi, red grounded dry powder chutney has some spicy note and aroma but lack any uniqueness while eaten on its own, infact nearly all components of idli butter pudi on their own were okish on taste. But have a bite of pudi covered idli with coconut chutney and then one can feel the uniqueness that makes it favourite of many.
Filter coffee was filter coffee and not kaapi, infuriated by this blunder which show in my ratings. This actually stopped me from trying more dishes.

Very good family restaurant I every year celebrate my and my family members birthday here, we enjoy a lot. The Chinese food served by there are too good. The locality is also nice, but the staffs are bit of lasy. I would recommend you to go here if you are in a search of a restaurant which is a cheap and a family restaurant having good quality of food.

Not bad, but average food, food was nice. The place is not cleaned and there's no cleanliness at all, dirty place and have to request to clean the table.
The place is very neat and clean with a beautiful entrance. The menu is able to provide you a wholesome meal within limited budget. The place has pretty soothing ambience with comfortable seating arrangement. A best place to dine in with friends and family also with colleagues. A perfect vegetarian restaurant.

Tried Chinese food at cafe irani, Sandhurst outlet though the place is small but the ambience and service was good. Fried rice and noodles was amazing with proper blend of Chinese sauce also the price is pocket friendly.
Can't have a better value for money proposition, 12 of group eat to the capacity and bill was just 2500, pav bhaji, pizza, paneer Dhingra very best. Fruit salad with icecreame and pineapple rita were below average.

What a restaurant ! It is located in the Goregaon West. Interior is neat and clean, you will get the varities in food. Server maintains the hygieny there. And best thing is that you will get the good and tasty food in very reasonable price which is hardly seen in mumbai. If you the restaurant it is look like that is made for tourist people or the people which come Mumbai for works.

Awesome South Indian food, as well as quick service. On week days they serve sizzlers. That us also superb. It will not be a authentic one but taste is nice. Overall nice meal you get in affordable range. Also speciality is veg cutlet. Super awesome taste.

So for all the foodies who are aware about “cafe madras” in matunga must be surprised to know that “Gopal Krishna” is the main branch which was started in 1936 by late. Shri. Gopalkrishna which was one of the iconic restaurants back then during British era and later in 1940 “cafe madras” was started. So now that you know the history of this place, let’s get back to food😀

You cannot miss this specific dish it’s that good. Highly recommended 👍. Though it is served with sambhar chutney but I would suggest you to try it with filter coffee, bliss😍

🔹Special mention for the sambar as it’s not the sweet variant which you usually get in an Udupi restaurant, infact it’s less tangy, refreshing and very tasty.
This restaurant is situated at a walkable distance from Malad West station, easily accessible.
Small, clean, comfy ambience and extremely humble and courteous staff who guide you through their menu and specials available for that particular day which keeps on changing.
Traditional dishes served piping hot, fresh and that too at affordable rates.
We tried:
🔹Butter Podi Idli - Supremely delicious, hot idli’s topped with podi and dollops of ghee/butter, flooded with cocconut chutney is definitely a must try over here. Highly recommended 👍
🔹Neer Masala Dosa - We all must have tried plain neer dosa but the combination of soft neer dosa along with masala aloo sabji is truly amazing. If you are like me who loves her dosa to be soft and with masala sabji then this one’s for you.

Taste is quite good. Their paneer lajawab and paneer dingri is must try. Ambience is limited. Parking is also an issue. They have both AC as well as non AC seating. Staff is very Friendly and polite. Overall it's a decent place.
This is a pure veg restaurant and serves south indian, north indian & chinese food. It has both A/C room for dinning as well as non a/c. The restaurant and food is quite average. Not the types you would go for lunch and dinner with family or friends but when you just want to fill up and want to be pocket friendly . We have had ordered north indian food from this place couple of times and the quality is more or less is same and Cripsy vegetable chilly is also good.The tawa pulav, butter fry rice and dal tadka are good dishes to order. They also have a wide variety of punjabi & mughlai dishes with a wide selection of paneer gravy items. The food cost is quite reasonable and the quantity and quality is satisfactory.

Awesome place to have food ..vada kadi super tasty ..thali is enough to fill the stomache...super service..owner of the restaurant is very kind and comes to table if somethings gets delayed..Everyting u get over here..they accept cards.. they serve chaas..lassi..tea in earthern utsensils...a must must visit ...still to explore more
