A small and cozy community gem. Good selection of used books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and games. Very reasonable prices. You can become a member for a modest fee and receive a discount on purchases.

They had a great selection of books and the prices were amazing! Most books were $3 or $4, some as cheap as $2! The workers were very kind and recommended different books too. They also accept book donations, overall a gem of a place

This is an excellent bookstore, run by Friends of the library volunteers. They get some usual and interesting books at great prices.

My favorite local bookstore! So many high quality, good titles come through here for such a low cost compared to buying new. The staff is so kind and they will remember you! Going regularly pays off because you never know what you will find and they will even start making recommendations for you as you become more familiar in the shop. I’m always happy to support the local library and shopping here is a great way to do that. Can’t recommend it enough.

Awesome book store! Really really great collection, and the books are so cheap, while supporting the local library. I left here with five new books to add to my collection.
I went to this location because it has a designated parking lot as opposed to the others, and although it was busy on a Sunday afternoon, I imagine it would be easy to park during the week. I was disappointed there wasn't more seating for reading, as I needed back support and the various benches don't provide that. Still love a bookstore though :) they have a great selection and it's easy to find what you're looking for.
Smaller version of the flagship store in downtown Portland. Good parking here, and no traffic or other issues to deal with. The store has a good selection of both new and used books. Lots of employees around, however none seemed very inclined to help find products. They also had a great selection of gift type products. The store was very clean, but restroom was pretty nasty.
It's a fun little shop with a good variety of things at wonderful prices, and it all helps the library! That's a win-win in my book. Plus the volunteers are super nice....
This place has lots of books. Like, a lot of books. Nothing really strange about the Powell's Books. The weird part is the mall it is attached to. It has a bunch of empty stores in it. Strangely dead, given how busy all the other near by stores are. Also, I just discovered the þ key on the keyboard. Not sure how to pronounce a þ or what words use it. Probably another reason to go back to Powell's and find a book on non-standard letters.
Easy to get to, plenty of parking worth a fair selection of books! It's by far more convenient to sneak in here and see if they have what I need versus deal with parking and people at their other locations! Very friendly staff at this location with plenty of food options nearby too! I love Powell's!
Great collection of books. Great customer service.
Bonus: close to a lot of other stores too!!
Was there for the B. Dylan Hollis book signing. There were a lot of people there but they kept everything moving nicely. It was a little too warm.
Powell's Books is always a delightful experience. This visit was for a book signing event. All staff encountered were helpful, polite, and very organized regarding all aspects of this event.

Great little vintage book store with a random but good selection of vintage books, cds, dvds, some vinyl discs. It is run by a two or three very nice ladies who keep the place well organized and tidy. The atmosphere inside is exactly what a vintage bookstore should be and reminds you of what Powell books used to be back when they were starting out.
Excellent selection of books! There are more books than toys in the children’s section, and the toys aren’t $$$, more like $$. The staff is friendly and helpful, the aisles have plenty of room, and it is air conditioned. All together it was a very pleasant experience. Plenty of Cozy Mystery books for me too!

The Book Corner is a little house across from the City park on 5th Street in Beaverton. This house holds all used books, mostly donated by people who live in the area. This is a place that sells books for mostly $1 or $2 bucks. Proceeds from the sell of these books go to help out the Library. Last year they were able to donate $60,000.00 to help the local Library. They have over 25 volunteers to help sort books and make sure they are in good shape.
To date they have raised over $200,000.00.
If you decide to donate books, you can ask for a tax receipt. If your child likes to read, this is a great place to buy some books with just a couple dollars.
I ended up with gardener books and murder mysteries.
