Our hotel room was broken into in the late hours of the weekend. All our luggage, passports, everything we came with was stolen from our room. The hotel staff could not be more bothered or concerned. There was an excuse for everything. It seemed the hotel was more worried about minimizing there own liability surronding the issue rather than helping us.

From the reviews you would imagine this hotel would be generally a good choice. Hotel workers barely spoke English which wasn't a big deal. We were a big group and the room qualities were a hit or a miss.
Hotel is very centrally located to everything. A plus for having a Starbucks right outside main door. The quality of room for the price is a little on the high end for my opinion.

I have been staying at Hotel Pueblo Amigo on and off for 9 years. I have found the staff AMAZING, the food Unbelievable, the room extraordinary and just the overall experience AMAZING. I had something unfortunate happen the other day, and I took it out on the staff. Somehow they knew it wasn't "me" who was losing my cool and they immediately remedied the situation. Liliana and Elmer should be congratulated and next time I am in town I will definitely offer my thanks for their kindness they show. Pueblo Amigo, it is not just a hotel it's HOME!

I was treated here with respect, rooms are elegant, very clean and well designed
Avoid using the ATM in the lobby they charge a huge transaction fee
Very clean and nice hotel right in the heart of TJ, restaurant with room service, has a bar and a spa to get massage and facial. Everyone was very nice and cordial. A Starbucks is right outside the Hotel.
Great free breakfast. Hard to get money or gamble if you don't speak Spanish. Location is not ideal for more common destinations in the city. Rooms are pricey but look great
Rooms are clean, well stocked and large enough for a small family of 4. Service was great, everyone is friendly and polite. The location was great for use close to some restaurants and grocery stores. Definitely recommend.
We stayed here and not our usual Marriott because the hospital has everything setup though them.
The rooms are very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable. The showers water pressure is perfect. You can connect your phone apps to the TV. Though there are a few English speaking channels.
The hotel is in a great location. It’s across the street from a convenient store. If you cross the other street, you are right at the grocery store. If you cross the street in front of the hotel, you are at a mall. This mall has a movie theatre, that even offers 4D movies. The location of this hotel is excellent.
The buffet was amazing my husband said. The broth that I got to eat was beyond good.

Hotel Cascadas is connected to Hong Kong gentleman club in Tijuana. If your not into adult entertainment or 24 hr non stop partying.. don't go. Went to Tijuana for a boys weekend trip. Amazing trip. Hotel rooms were nice. Get the Vip package. Save on food..free drink every day..and free limo to and from boarder. Street food was awesome! And cheap. Will definitely return.
I enjoyed the stay, The rooms very clean. Most of the employees were kind but for some reason some were not friendly. One elevator jumped several times when hitting the designated floor and as I stayed on the 6th floor it was a bit nerve racking the first couple of times. The slots were tight as to be expected but were fun to play. I may stay here again as I travel for work a few times a year. One more thing I'd recommend (and it may just be me) is have coffee ready in the lobby for those of us who head to work around 6.
We have been staying at this hotel for decades.
They have done some remodeling but what they could do better and that's by getting new mattresses.
**We just checked out and our backs are hurting us** we have been telling them and they just say sorry.
Their prices went up $145.00 per night just because they some painting and some upgrades but still no new mattresses.

We have the choices at other hotels but like I said we have been with them for decades.

They are 10 🌟

Dont bother getting any rooms for the jacuzzi. Tried two different ones. It takes about a hour to fill and the water is warm at best. The water is also very dirty. Its greyish in color and when you drain it, there are black debris remaining.

There are no no-smoking rooms so all rooms stink cigarettes. One of 2 elevators did not work, heating system didn't work, the room was freezing cold at night. The walls are so thin that you can hear the person in the adjacent room turn around in bed, flush the toilet and take a shower. The fridge in the room also makes a loud noise that I had to unplug it.

The location is perfect. Just say you're going to the Hong Kong club to any taxi and they know exactly where to take you. The hotel is literally next to it attached to the same building. The rooms are decent but it does get noisy late night early morning. I believe they're doing renovations so get use to construction noises waking you up. Service is something you're going to have to ask for. They don't clean your room unless you ask for it but when they do, they are great at it. Always tip your cleaner or whoever is helping you. A dollar goes a long way. Don't be cheap.

Clean and and safe. Good selection and always open. Security and waiters are friendly. Bring plenty of small bills for tips. Food was decent. I think the pizza was the best value if your really hungry. Surprisingly good coffee too.
