Dave and the team are a bunch of good eggs! Alongside the meats they provide have always been the best.
They've been a pleasure to work with as a supplier throughout the longtime my parents owned and operated a bakery till very recently as we've sold now and separately as a customer for a very long time.

Honestly I don’t know where to begin. Pinehill butcher is a weekly pilgrimage. Nothing beats ripping into a bag of biltong bites and giving your jaw a workout equivalent to a sub 2 hour marathon. It’s simple if you love meat and great service there’s really only one place to find yourself and that’s Pinehill.
The only thing that elevates the entire experience it’s that you are greeted with the most wonderful smiles and service time and time again. The chat is never too in depth as the guys are firing at all cylinders getting every order out, but if I could share a beer with the crew and get down to the nitty gritty of how they get their product to the standard it is, I would. Liam, Renee, and Rohan always know their stuff and they know exactly what I’m after EVERY. DAMN. TIME.

I always make a point to visit this exceptional butcher shop when I'm in Auckland. Their range is fantastic and their butchers are the best looking in town. Great biltong and the beef cheeks are to die for!
I bought beef cheeks that was so rotten had to throw all out...smell was no bad. Went back to them and told them there was 5 bought one and the other looked rotten too. I was told to bring to rotten food back...i said no way im a putting that rotten meat in my car. I said i did not want the money back but please take the rest of the shelf. I did not ecpect any money back but a small courtesey to give or offer me something else in return....very dissapointed customer
Love this place. The smell of fresh protein that hits you when you walk in the door, the amazing selection of high-quality meats, the reassuringly busy atmosphere, the amazing service. The biltong, the rubs and sauces, the pies, oh....and the sausages...oh the sausages!! It's just AWESOME!

I called into store to get a lamb shoulder and the woman serving me said the meat saw was cleaned at 4:30 today so couldn't cut me one.
When you close at 6pm I find that strange, not very good customer service. Also she was non apologetic and forthright. Sad really, when it's the festive season.
Anyway, Seaview meats were more than obliged to use their saw at 5pm when they close at 5:30.

I had a bbq decided to get the ribeye fillet chicken drums and lambchops, didn't bother checking it as I'm a regular, once I cooked my bbq everything was good as usual until I took a bite of the ribeye it was old, I thought maybe it's a new flavor but then found out it was old,family members said the same thing, by then too late to return, can't be bothered going through the hassle of coming back to complain,so just leave a review here instead, my drums and lambchops were delicious though, won't be getting ribeye fillet no more

My all time fave meat store. Meat are reasonably priced and stocked. If they don’t have a specific meat on shelf I would usually ask and they’d bring it out in no time.

Great sized meat packs. And at great prices. Eggs 18 dollars at size 8s. My new go too. They don't slice 1 chop onto 3 like alot of meat stores are doing to save money. Go check them out
I come here for sausages. This is a good butcher rather than a cheap butcher, so you will pay a little more than supermarket prices however it's worth it. Special shout out for the chicken, cranberry and chestnut sausages. If making a special trip from outside the area for a particular item, suggest you check with them first as they rotate the sausage varieties in the cabinet.
A few weeks ago, I bought a tray of eye fillet steak. And, when I cooked it I realised the fat part all filled with plastic. Really disgusting!
Best place to buy your meats in 2023. Most probably the cheapest place to find $10 packets of mince and sometimes if ur lucky they could be $8.99 when on special. The jumbo pack of eggs are only $20 for a tray of 18? And $24 for size 7s. Best place for me to get the best meat in town.
Came to this shop by a recommendation of my friend. So go inside he as welland have a quick look around. Meantime all staff (2) in the back room. I don't know what their custom is but not too important until check out time I guess. I thought I would then ask about the specials. He replied, everything cheap. OH well I thought next question to ask is how long have you worked in this shop and he said 20 years. I just about fell over. Asked him where he came from. He said he was Cambodian. The coin dropped and I thought he is doing a good job but there is room for improvement. I don't think I will be going back in a hurry. As I write I am ingesting curried sausages that really have the consistancy of dough balls. I really won't be going back. Not listening to my mates anymore.

Went and bought a rolled pork shoulder and the meat was completely off!! This should be illegal to sell to customers because of food poisoning! Steer clear away from this place as the smell from the meat had a bad stench to it as if it had been expired for months!
Amazing biltong! Best I've ever had. Thick cut bacon and a great range.
Outstanding butcher. Highlights are sausages, beef and of course real British pork pies. Best in nz by a long way. Other goodies include - scotch pies, scotch eggs, black pudding and Bacon.

Price for chops is a little expensive, but it was well stocked...the guy working there was nice and the shop was relatively clean. The outside of shop was grubby though.
Wow, if you looking for big packages of meat for catering this is the place. Fresh and frozen. Chicken, beef pork and lamb. I felt meat was reasonably priced. If you like oxtail, there for the taking. Yeah great butchers.
Update: Pinehill also does the most amazing biltong with perfect marbeling. Well worth the extra $10 per KG. Super delicious
As far as I know - the only butcher around that sells racks of smoked pork ribs. Had a few racks from Pinehill Butchery over the years and each time it was a super treat after putting the ribs in the Weber BBQ with a basting souce. (And the 2 dogs just love the soft bone ends) Consistently perfectly smoked.

Totally forgot to do meat shopping when I was out for grocery shopping so searched up on net and mad butchers next available date was in a weeks time. Mr Meats out south came through and saved my butt out central and it was same day delivery too!! Appreciate that you guys are personally seeing to the deliveries and stay safe during this time. Ive now found me my new go to for meat goods. Will let my fams know too. Keep up the amazing work team.

Clean and tidy, jammed packed with meat that seem very good value. Plenty of convenient parking out front and found service to be friendly enough. Loud constant alarm/beeping sounds from machines or doors was little overwhelming so ruined a bit of the experience...
For families wanting to buy top quality meat products at affordable prices, this is a great place to consider when you have a budget to follow. Staff are friendly, obliging and helpful and I am more than happy to visit here once or twice a week 😊😊
Fresh and local although I find the paknsave next door's prices near-a-bouts the same. It's in the middle of the shopping centre which makes it handy with lots of parking nearby but may not be directly outside the store
Location is handy nxt to laundromat,fruit shop,chinese takeouts, Bakery aswel a cheesecake shop! Meat prices are reasonable too.

Cheapies Chicken is great for off cut chicken carcasses and frozen piece packs rather than chicken breast meat.
Westmere butchery came highly recommended by some local friends. We came, we saw, we drooled...and bought a substantial chunk of fresh and dried sausage. Also treated myself with what turned out to be a delicious scotch egg. Absolutely great butchers shop!
