Had an amazing time at the cafe. We went for the Eid buffet. The spread was really nice. Good food. Nice ambience and amazing customer service. Kudos to the team, especially Mr. Adityan and Ms. Ashley who took care of all our needs. Will be visiting again.

This hotel is famous for their fish dishes. I have tried Tuna fry and it was like above average. But the meal and vegetable options are just average.
This old is gold lunch spot is inside chalai market which is in city centre. Its a very good place for a decent meals and fish fry. No much variety of fish or curries are available but whatever they serve is so tempting
My 8 year old has a fondness for this restaurant mainly because of its cleanliness and hospitality. So we visit this place often . Food is consistently good. But soups can be made better . Apart from that, service and ambience is always a delight. During Xmas and all, kids love the decorations . Yday also, paid a visit and Mr. Vipin, there took every effort to give us homely feel during the visit.
We only had pastries from there,so I dnt know about other foods...what we ordered was tiramisu and blueberry cheesecake .... To be honest they only looked nice....they tasted nothing like cheesecake and tiramisu.... It was like eating some kind of jelly with different toppings.... It was very bad....

I came today with my mom for dinner and it was so peaceful I enjoyed the food the environment and the service! Thanks for making our night great Gourmet team🎈and the pink panther was sooo soo good too
Firstly what a beautiful place , tucked inside a heritage home . . The place exudes zen energy n the presentation of their filter coffee is one of the best in the country . . Service is fabulous n the food too
The overall experience at Steampot, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel garnered significant hype, I found it to be somewhat overrated. The ambiance was pleasant. The restaurant, Steampot, offered an average dining experience; the menu was diverse, but the execution fell short of the anticipated culinary excellence. On the positive side, the staff was courteous, and the presentation of dishes was commendable.
The Spicy beef dimsum is out of this world. (It is only slightly spicy)
The Chicken ramen and Prawns salmon sushi were also good.
I wanted to try the Chocolate ganache cake, but they didnt have it.
Raspberry cheese cake wasn't that great to me, but maybe I don't like cheesecakes.
Items are bit on the expensive side, for Trivandrum.

Options for food was very less. Only ayala was available. Boiled rice was not boiled enough. Thenga paal fish curry was just okay but less portions that we had to order kottayam fish curry which was very spicy. God, pls give them the courage to visit kottayam and find good fish curry. Appam was good.

It's on the expensive side. We ordered ramen, I didn't like it at first but the taste grew on me as i kept on eating it. The mango cheesecake was delicious! My favourite would be the Spicy pepper lemongrass chicken. Overall, it's worth it if you have the money.

A friend suggested the hot kanji when I was sick and it felt like the best meal I had in the longest time. The kanji came with 5 or more different side dishes, all of which felt truly like a very yummy home cooked meal. It made me feel so much better. Highly suggest the meal on a day you feel sick and crave a homely meal.
Place seemed overrated. Fish curry meals was below average. Pish polichathu was fry and curry. Will not recommend. Place was so hot , air conditioning is just for name sake. You get better seafood at this price else where. Only saving grace were the cordial hosts/ servers. Veg meals was really bland.
This place is easy find off the highway but almost nondescript from outside. That is till you step inside where you find rustic architecture inviting you to indulge. Seemingly this place used to be connected to royalty of yesteryear, adds to the aura of Maya. Food was authentic and staff are very courteous.

Very Good Ambience. Service was excellent. Food Order Manager was very courteous and humble. Waiters were quite exemplary. Dining place is a cottage in the ground floor . A lot of dining rooms. Two storey Eatery. We ordered for Mutton Stew with Appam and Tharavadu Mappas with Noodle Paratha. Both dishes are Super Tasty and Yummy.
Just the ambience is great. The staff and the food isn't. The chicken was undercooked and I had informed the person who served us about it. All that he did was, hear us and bring the cheque. Extremely condescending.
A very underrated Asian restaurant in the heart of Trivandrum! I ordered Fried Chicken Sushi, Spaghetti Aglio Olio (both were low-key amazing🤌) and a bowl of Mushroom Pot Rice for my mom (which she loved). Would definitely recommend!

The ambience and the food is to die for! This is a fine dining restaurant with excellent outdoor seating available which you need to book in advance. The vegetarian options however are limited. We had kebabs, gnocchi and one traditional Kerala meal which all tasted great but had to wait too long for the food to arrive. This is a great place for gatherings or romantic getaways!
I tried the kappa biriyani, it was super nice the quantity in they serve is more as one is enough for both 2 people. It is only 175(technically 87 for each). There is also lots of seafood for low price.
There is an issue of space . If you're going out with friends you might have to wait a bit for sitting together. Parking can also be an issue .

The best food!! I love the variety dishes there - Korean, Japanese, all kinds of food! I am a Ramen fan and I just loved the Ramen here. The ambience over here is very nice, a must try restaurant for families and friends. Affordable price, given the food is delicious.

However, I have some doubts about the authenticity of the reviews since they offer a free dessert in exchange for reviewing on Google Maps. Unfortunately, during my visit, the restaurant's kitchen was undergoing maintenance, which resulted in the unavailability of seafood and other menu options.
Went there to try sushi and other korean food .. Good service and calm atmosphere . Menu on Expensive side.... So take care before ordering. .. tried soto ayam soup sushi garlic noodles hibachi friedrice pink panther drink.... Garlic noodles was good.. soto ayam soup tasted like cocunt milk onion curry.
Didnt like hibachi fried rice. But my friend liked it. I felt unpleasant tomato flavour.... ..

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steampot restaurant ,a restaurant located at Pottakuzhy. The restaurant has a couple of tables for those who want to dine in. Most of the orders they receive are parcel orders.
The food-
I decided to try their Veg Meals and Ayala Fry.
Veg Meals costed ₹110/- and it was quite good for the price and it also included gulab jamun.
Ayala fry costed ₹140/- which tasted okay but the pricing too high considering what they serve.
I would suggest those who visit here to try their Fish Biriyani.

Nice food and great rustic ambiance. The place felt neat and tidy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only thing which could be better is that there are so many staff trying to serve simultaneously which felt a bit intimidating- I will be happy with one staff catering to a customer.

The food was really tasty and yummy at a much affordable rate. A great place to try nadan food items. The taste of homely made food. Portion size is also good. But the one thing that literally hits the face when walked into the restaurant is the smell. And this is for me personally, because I have a very delicate nose. The food was brought in without much delay. Easy to get the attention of the staff if needed. A lot of variety for non veg eaters. If you are a meat enthusiast, this is a must try place.
We ordered a mixed chattichoru which had a lot of veg curry , fish curry, fish fry , omelette , beef curry , pappadam etc..

This place got one hell of an ambiance! Great place to spend your evening with your loved ones. Atmosphere is amazing, great service as well. If you like to sit outside then you need to do the reservation otherwise the place is packed. The food is average and probably little expensive for what it is. If the taste was good then it would have been a completely different story because you don't mind paying if the food is good. But overall, this place is a must visit if you are in Trivandrum.
The menu mostly has Kerala cuisine. Among other dishes, they serve different types of puttu with fillings which is unique to them since the time they started.
We were 2 people and we ordered Pazhankanji and Athazha choru with Beef Ularthiyath. The quantity of food was great.
The Athazhachoru was basically rice meals served at night. The beef ularthiyath was good and the remaining curries were okay. The pazhankanji did not taste like actual pazhankanji. They tried to pass off normal rice mixed with curd as pazhankanji. As you can see in the photo, it was more like curd rice and not at all like kanji.
The restaurant does not have a lot of dininig area. Perhaps max 20-25 people can sit there.

A fine dine place which is aesthetically designed and well maintained. Its an old villa converted to a boutique restaurant.

This is a hotel with a lot of history. I often visited this hotel since my childhood with my parents.
If you are looking for meals with good fish curry, kappa and fish fry, this is one of the best spots in Trivandrum. They have tuna and prawns fry most of the day.

Absolutely brilliant place. Really good ambience in this place. Food was pretty dope as well. We ordered a veg meals and teamed it with some seafood. The spices were on point not too spicy either.

Visited Apollo Dimora with family and had lunch at their restaurant ‘Hive’ 🥗. It was an excellent experience for us. Food was great and the staff were very courteous, especially Anvar who had been super supportive. He had even arranged a walk around of the property for us. My spouse was really stunned by the Surprise Birthday cake 🎂 they have planned for her. A peaceful abode in the middle of city hustle.
We went there for a dinner buffet and enjoyed the food and hospitality. Starters were really good especially the beef coconut fry. we don’t have to wait for anything and really liked their service.

Came here for seafood, and I was not disappointed. Had the Kakka erachi and konju fry. Really good, and I would recommend it. It is a very small place. Don't come here for ambiance, but food is exceptional.

Being a trivian, Sagara Restaurant is not a new try for me. This time when i landed Trivandrum,i was really missing the seafood and came here.

Horrible food, month old frozen fish and there is more than enough oil in the fried rice for America to launch an attack. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. The owners have spent too much on the ambience and very little on the menu and the cooks. Only plus side here is a very lush parking space to take selfies.

Cafe hive is a restaurant situated within Hotel Apollo Dimora. We went there for lunch on a Sunday and the place was all empty. Throughout the time we were there I guess only one more couple had come over. We were welcomed with a plate of masala papad. The staff was really warm and helpful in presenting the menu. We got ourselves Paneer Tikka as an appetizer and then got Chicken Tikka biriyani and Mutton Biriyani. We liked the fact that biriyani comes with long rice and the staff was more than welcome to accommodate our requirement of making the biriyani with extra masala. Both the biriyani were pretty good although, I feel it could have been better. The place has huge parking available for customers.
One of the famous lunch spots in Trivandrum, Mubarak Hotel is situated in the busy Chalai Market. It's a hotel with years of history and so very popular among the people in and around Trivandrum.
I have tried their Meal with Fish Fry. The meal was decent with all side dishes and the Kappa curry served along with it was good. Tried their prawns fry (they are known for their fish fry), and was delicious.
As this is one of the busy lunch spots in Trivandrum you will have to wait a little to get a seat but it's a worth visit/wait place, I would say.

When we visited the place the restaurant was empty. The food was just ok.juice served was not cold.They said there is no current .We are disappointed .
Don't know about the ambience. But they have one of the best chicken biryani in Trivandrum.

What sea food feast it was!! had tummy full of lunch. Fish thali with pomfret fish and mussels fry. Yummy... Thali had heavy bowl of white rice, fish curry with several pieces, butter milk, rasam, sambar, papad, sabji etc. Spent full 1 hr eating the meal. Service is too good, quick, price us reasonable. Highly recommend for fish lovers. Restaurant has varieties of seafood preparations.
Delicious and economical.....having huge capacity....parking facility available...thattukada service provided ...good ambience...neet and clean ...having restrooms and wheelchair entrance is available

A decent place for non veg lunch. Taste of food varies. Lunch is good on all days. Biriyani is sometimes average and sometimes bad. Good seating facilities. Good for small gatherings of 10-20 people. They allot seperate rooms if there are more people. So privacy aspect is superb. They are not charging exorbitantly also.

Super hotel which will give customers privacy very much. We can have food with silent environment and neatness is outstanding. Also this hotel was an old christian tharavadu .taste of food is good but masala of fish is average
