My husband, our families, and I cannot thank Marcel and Velveteen Ensemble enough for everything. Velveteen Ensemble was recommended by our wedding planner, Jeff Stillwell of Stillwell Events (give him a call, he's the BEST!!!) for our wedding at the Metropolitan Club in NYC that took place this past Saturday, May 18, 2024 and we couldn't have been happier.

Marcel and his team are top-notch. They have a HUGE catalogue of songs you can choose from to play for your wedding. They also take meticulous notes and know all the ins and outs of playing string music for an event.

Walking with our parents at the same time down the two joining aisles to “Canon in D” by Pachelbel is a moment we will treasure forever and EVER. I cried the happiest tears. 🩷 I still have the chills!!! The other selections for the prelude and ceremony were so lovely. All the pieces flowed so seamlessly together to create the perfect soundtrack to one of the most important moments of our lives.

My husband and I heard snippets of the pieces played during cocktail hour (we were inside the library enjoying some food & beverages post-ceremony until we walked down the stairs of the Great Hall for our first dance) and everything sounded so, so wonderful.

Wow, just wow. Marcel, you were such a pleasure to work with, and we are so grateful that Jeff connected us!! You and your team are amazing.

Overall – a key theme we heard over and over from our guests was how the music made the night truly an experience of a lifetime and something they will never forget. One of Anthony and I’s biggest joys in life is hosting and creating memorable experiences for our friends, so hearing this truly meant the world to us and was the highlight and honor of our lifetime but none of it would have been possible without On The Move. Beyond the absolutely incredible and spectacular musical talent On The Move provided that made each event during our wedding weekend so special, the entire team was amazing to work with. Darren, Gabe, Vanessa and the entire team are all so talented, professional, kind, fun, passionate and creative which made the musical planning process all the more enjoyable. They were patient with us when we had questions, listened to all our ideas and found creative ways to bring them to life in collaboration with our planners and event designers, and curated a full weekend of music that was authentic to who we are as a couple. We had “The New Millennials” (TNM) band from On The Move Entertainment on Saturday 10/7/23 at our wedding and if i could give this group 20 stars i would. They started off the reception with Amy Winehouse “Valerie” and that told me right then and there they were ready to bring the HEAT! Joshua the band leader was so fun and tried to help us dance to Michael Jackson “Thriller” on the dance floor. Yvette and Alessandra dressed great and sang incredibly. When they busted out Donna Summer my mom was floored! Whatever it takes to get this band to your wedding, do it. You will not regret it. I am forever grateful to TNM and the experience they gave us. We love you guys!

I used Synergy from on the move as my wedding band and it was hands down the BEST wedding band I’ve ever heard. So many people came up to me and asked for the band name and information to use for their own events and said it was the best band they’ve ever heard. I would recommend Synergy time and time again! Truly made the day spectacular! Every single person was so thoughtful, kind and easy to work with and the band/staff felt like part of the wedding and brought the party to life!

Hiring 45Riots will be the best decision ever. They legitimately made our wedding so special. People were staring like they were at a concert. We must’ve heard “this is the best band I’ve ever heard” or “I feel like I’m at a concert” 9000 times. They’re such a talented group of individuals - every single person. The firm is so easy to work with too!

Velveteen ensemble was the perfect beginning to our daughter’s wedding. The professionalism was flawless and guests paid attention without moving. Martin Krasner was responsive to all of us regarding music choices and everyone loved the musicians. As my husband and I walked with our daughter, the music helped us to experience the religious ceremony and we will never forget it.

THANK YOU On The Move for all your help making our fundraising Gala a success! People raved about the dancers, and how fun and interesting it was, and they LOVED that we had a band. We really appreciate that you agreed to play an extra 15 minutes, too, so our guests could get up and dance. Every detail came together so beautifully, and that first number was such a showstopper. I’m already trying to figure out how we can top it next year. The entire OTM team worked so hard to give us memorable and exciting entertainment, and we are so grateful for their patience and creativity.

I’m 70 years old and have seen a few bands in my day and this one ROCKED! The three vocalists are phenomenal, and are followed by a kickass bunch of musicians. The horn section blew up the place.

The best thing about hiring 45 Riots was looking around when the dance floor was open on our wedding night and seeing literally everyone on the dance floor. Nobody sitting at the tables, nobody hanging by the bar, every single person in the room on the dance floor enjoying the band. 45 Riots is on a different level than most wedding bands; they put on a show that stands on its own. We had an 8-piece band which was perfect for our reception of 150 people; 45 Riots also provided a guitarist for our ceremony and pianist for cocktail hour. Every single performer was incredible and we are so so glad we hired them for our wedding. They know how to get a crowd going and they’ll make your event truly something to remember!

Best part of our wedding. Hands down. You will not regret hiring the Velveteen Ensemble. I wish I could listen to them play all day, everyday.
