Our food was delicious, service was excellent, atmosphere was a bit noisy
Valet parking is a life saver. Food and drinks are very well prepared unlike most places in Mexico where the sushi is not really sushi.
Atmosphere was 10/10 hands down!! I’ll definitely visit The Sushi Tap when in Tijuana.
Sushi in baja just hits different, or however the kids say it these days. I always have to ask for wasabi, ginger, and sriracha where at least wasabi and finger are more or less automatic en el otro lado. Just an observation, though. The food and service here were both nice. Sake took a while to arrive, but everything was great when it did.

I got the Alaskan roll, but i shared with my friends and everything was very good, the rolls and even appetizers are quite big though, so I wouldn't order more that one set of rolls if it was me again.

Second time here, food is good. The cocktails I ordered were super super light, I thought they didn't even have alcohol, they were good but the price was elevated. I will return but it's not my favorite sushi place in Tijuana. My friends really like it here because of the outdoor area, which I enjoyed as well because it's summer and weather is nice.

This place is terrible. I don’t understand why this place has so many good ratings . Whoever ate here and gave high ratings are missing taste buds. The food has no flavor and it tasted more like water down Chinese food . It’s so gross .

The only thing I can honestly say needs a little work is their saucing, it isn't as traditional as I'm used to. The food was good, super fresh and flavorful with a relaxing atmosphere and great customer service and attentiveness! A must eat!

this is my new favorite sushi restaurant.
by far the best flavor, awesome presentation and very fresh!!!
This is a very good place to go.
Love the ambience. Very elite and fast service.
The good was not expensive but good at the same time.
You have to ask for wasabi and ginger.
They serve some other sauce with sushi.

We had a combo plate of teriyaki chicken, salmon and shrimp rolls, salad and 2 crusted shrimp. Food and service were very good. It was nice outside so we ate on the patio and enjoyed the day.

I have a mixed feeling about this place, in short, Odayaka did not meet my expectation.

I visited this restaurant on a Tue night, I was a bit turned off by the valet, pretty much the entire available parking area was fenced off as valet only, I ended up asked the attendant for an empty space near the entrance and parked myself. I did tipped the valet very well nonetheless.

The dining was separated by 3 themed areas, I really liked the ambience! We were seated promptly upon arrival.

The wait staff were mostly young and not very attentive, I ordered a small carafe of sake, (I was not offered a selection, kind of odd since this place has a fully stocked bar) and the sake I ordered was clearly heated by microwave, half of the alcohol was gone by the time it reached my table..

Sorry for ranting here, I will try to stay objective, I ordered mixed sashimi (24pcs), blue fin tuna hand roll, poke bowl, mixed tempura and a roll, the highlight was the mix tempura, although the batter was way too thick, to the point that you can't tell what's inside the tempura, it actually tasted good.. $30 for the sashimi, not worth it, (I wasn't even offered Wasabi and ginger, I had to ask!).. hand rolls were not wrapped well, the cucumber slices were cut so thick.. not worth it.. poke bowl, full of surimi (imitation crab meat) and a big bowl of white rice and bottom, not good.. And finally the roll, its not bad, but definitely not made with good sushi rice, it's just rolled with white rice..

Pricing of the menu is somewhat over priced IMHO. Better value, quality of food and service can be had elsewhere in Tijuana if you are in the mood for sushi!

This restaurant deserves 3 stars at most, I guess I'm a bit picky about sushi restaurants but IMHO this place needs to do a lot more to earn a 5 stars rating.

Sashimi and tempura are done well and fresh.. I took one star off because of the ambiance. As far as a chain goes, it's not bad, but for the price you pay here, there are better choices in Tijuana for sushi.
Great place to eat some sushi and have a good conversation.

An unusual approach to cooking Japanese food. Very interesting. If you are not disappointed by the broken ceiling of this restaurant, I recommend you try it. Great cocktails.
Nicely presented and great flavor. Not a bad option for sushi.

Brewery and Japanese food. You can't get much better than that.
They offer tasting flights.

One of Tijuana’s gem tepannyaki / Hibachi houses. Centrally located in the “Zona Centro”. They offer an array of Japanese inspired dishes and sushi platters. Tijuana is known for their great service and hospitality in the culinary community; and this place will not disappoint. Expect a wait time as this place is very popular with local clients.

Very good dinning experience. You can choose either table or stove. Stove is the best because they cook in front of you. Another gem in the heart of tj.

A very spacious and clean sushi restaurant. There's the option to eat outside in the patio. Lots of parking. There's also valet parking, if you prefer. Service was fast and attentive.

We ordered the 12 pieces of sashimi. The salmon and yellowtail sashimi were good. We also ordered the Rosarito roll, which I was not a fan of the tuna (tasted fishy). My husband liked the roll, though.

Prices are a bit high.

Might go back to try again.
Amazing sushi and nice selection of craft beers.

Nice open terrace, with a nice peaceful environment. Very friendly staff.

Excellent food, quality and service. Parking available, open regularly until 10 pm. Credit cards accepted. Prices are reasonable. You won't regret it.
Great service and fun atmosphere. They have a varied selection of beers on tap and an extensive menu. We enjoyed the nigiris and they also had many unique rolls. Their dumplings were also perfect. Recommend for a nice lunch or dinner wether alone or with friends.

So far one top sushis spots in Tijuana. Great service and quality of fish is on point. I recommend the chef sashimi dish and fire cracker appetizer. Did not like the salmon skin hand roll. I like it better in the states. But I've been here few times and Chefs don't disappoint.

The first time I was there it was incredible the second time I went there I saw the chef live that was also awesome. I just wish there was more seafood in the seafood combo especially the shrimp portions, besides that everything else was good and they do give an abundance of vegetables to take home

Clean place. Food portions were good. Was able to order saki and miso soup. Not all places carry those items.

It's not easy to find good Japanese restaurants in Tijuana, and this place tries to be different. They've got some interesting rolls and nice presentations of dishes. Teppanyaki was definitely a lot of fun. Still, the prices aren't really justified, you pay pretty much the same as across the border in San Diego.

Very good and authentic sushi place. Have tried a couple of sushi places in Tijuana and I could say you won't find anything as good as this place, also the service is excellent.
My go-to sushi in Tijuana. Fish is always fresh and delicious. “Hamachi tostadas” and “The Oaxacalifornian roll” are my favorites.
They have a large selection of beers on tap which is a big plus. Price and quality go hand in hand.
