Really tasty and fresh food and kind and efficient service. Overall atmosphere was nice and we loved the look of the bar.
We made reservations here on a weeknight a couple hours earlier, although we probably would have been okay walking in since there seemed to be plenty of tables, although getting busier. We ordered vegetable dumplings and the crispy garlic shrimp for appetizers. The dumplings seemed to be filled with potatoes. For mains, we had a plate of shrimp pad thai and shrimp pad see ew. Both were very tasty and filling, although the pad see ew was a bit less in terms of quantity. The service was good and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere here is pretty nice but can get a bit noisy.

Pretty good Asian fusion menu! Unfortunately, I asked them to bring out a dessert with candles because we were celebrating 2 birthdays — didn't care whether it was comped or not — but this request was not honored.
Excellent random find in the city. Relaxing vibe, cool setting and excellent food. Staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back again!

Excellent fresh creative dishes with many vegetarian options and different spice levels. Clean and nice service with a full bar. Very close to all the Broadway shows. The noodles are outstanding!
You feel like you're on the literal streets of Bangkok when you're in this restaurant in the best way: the organized chaos, the amazing aromas permeating around you - phenomenal experience all around. Ordered the duck curry which tasted amazing. The meat was tender, the sauce was simmered to perfection. Had to wait a while to get a reservation but it was absolutely worth it for the amazing vibes!
The taste of the food is similar to that of any other Thai restaurant. The menu items I ordered were popular, but they were all a bit sweet. I personally think that adding a little spicy flavor to Up Thai Fried Rice Clay Pot would be fantastic. I am sensitive to fishy tastes in meat and dairy products, but the food I ordered did not have any fishy taste or smell from chicken or seafood, which was good. Next time, I plan to try the soup menu.
They just changed their name (don’t recall the new name) and the food appears to have changed with it. Higher prices, less lunch special options, and my Basel fried rice was burned. Not a great experience.
I ordered Pho Ga lunch for take out. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the addition of two chicken wings was a delightful. The service was prompt, ensuring I could enjoy my meal without any delays. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and cozy. I will come back for dining soon.
This place is highly rated for a reason. Thai food for me is always a hit or miss because it is either too spicy, or too sweet, or has too much coconut. But this place was perfect!

Ordered through Uber eats. Food was hard. Veggies were old. Food was very salty. Even the plantains were bad. Ordered two meals with dessert most went in the garbage. Tried this place out for the first time since there was a deal on Uber eats. Will go back to the other Thai place. Do not recommend
Such an amazing place to go and for delicious food. Very hard to get in without reservation but very worth it if you can make it. The food is delicious, the service was amazing and the whole interior and vibe was great. The only thing is that it’s very packed and a bit hard to walk around with so many tables and chairs put together in a small restaurant (we were seated right by the door). But overall, definitely a spot worth going to.
They have the best fried chicken. I used to live in harlem, just went back today after 3 years and it's still the same. Cool decoration too!

Loved it here at Soothr! Was so excited to snag this reservation and it exceeded all my expectations! We had Gavin as our waiter and he was the sweetest waiter ive ever had. We were greeted with a warm welcome immediately, and the aesthetic of the place is immaculate! The order we got was perfect. So much flavor and just perfect!

Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.

The crispy pork belly was yummy the skin was still crispy and the meat wasn’t hard to chew at all Crab fried rice was also yummy and don’t forget to take some chili and fish sauce and eat together ** if you order 1 entre they give you 1 app for FREE!!** how about that?!?! We have been for dinner a few times. A small ethnic restaurant with character, friendly staff and tasty food.Not fine dining but definitely a place we enjoy and which we will go back to. So very NYC with its neighborhood restaurants and cosmopolitan character. And, oh, the Drunken Noodles were excellent.

Oh my gosh, you won't believe it! I just found the absolute best Thai restaurant in Manhattan. Seriously, it's incredible! The food is so authentic that it's even better than what you'd find in Thailand. And let me tell you, the ambiance is just lovely, creating the perfect atmosphere. Plus, it's conveniently located near a subway station, making it super easy to get to. Trust me, you absolutely have to visit this place the next time you're in NYC. You won't regret it!
We went on a Saturday evening. It was crowded and we didn’t have reservations, but they were able to get us in after about 10 minutes. We sat at the bar. I ordered the Kea Mao with beef. They warned me that it was spicy, but I can handle some spice. It did end up being pretty spicy, so if spice isn’t your thing, I recommend getting something else. The meat and noodles were good and had a ton of flavor. It was a little too many bell peppers for my liking, but I just picked them out. Overall, the food here is good, and I’d go back!

After making the selections off the menu, we got served pretty quickly and the curry puffs were the first to arrive. Absolutely adore the curry puffs and made me excited for the rest of food that we ordered. A superb texture and great taste these puffs had.
Green papaya salad was refreshing and added a texture that complimented my beef entree. Enjoyed the full coconut taste the beef absorbed.
Didn't have room for dessert but it's on the agenda for the next trip.

If I could give more than 5 stars for service, I would, we had a tall, skinny guy as our waiter, and he was excellent. We came in on a very busy Friday night, and we were provided some of the best service I've had in a long while. Everything arrived fast, never had to worry about getting more water, they provided wipes with the wings, and every little detail of the service was amazing. At this price point, the service can't be beaten!!
I was there yesterday and I love it. Staff were incredibly friendly and nice. Atmosphere was welcoming, although they about to have renovation, so it might be messy for a little or they might be closed, not sure.

Food was very fresh and tasty. I had the spiced calamari & chicken wings with crispy garlic, both were very flavorful & enjoyable portions. Enough to be shared amongst 3 people & Still be able to enjoy your meal! Atmosphere is very welcoming & Service was amazing. Very attentive & super nice. Overall 10/10!

They make the best Thai style margaritas "Comrade Party". Also don't forget the Happy Hour, they open 1130am $3 tap Sapporo beers whatttttt!!!
I had the massaman curry. It was good, but the chicken was dry (which was understandable since it wasn’t braised/cooked in the curry). But for the level of customization you get, the trade off was worth it. Overall, good experience for the price

I really enjoyed their Rose Quartz cocktail it was so good! The crab fried rice and duck noodles are a must try! Portions compared to price is very reasonable as well.

This is an amazing Thai place! Pretty authentic flavors and food! We got the pad Thai and braised pork. Lechee Thai Tea and ice cream taro sticky rice. The tea surprisingly really good! There is no cream in it. The sticky rice with taro is on the salty side. So if you like salty for dessert then this is a good option.
We left so full. Great staff and very on top of things. They kept our waters topped off. We will definitely eat here again.

THE BEST THAI FOOD IN THE WORLD. Once we found out about we come here everyday if we are in NYC. Pat is incredible and is a true artist with his food. He also has an incredible eye for design and such a fun atmosphere. I dream about the food here when we leave!!
Soothr makes it to the Michelin Guide for a reason. The food is delicious; authentic but not boring and delicate. The amount of seasoning is perfect; not overly sweet, sour, or spicy. Tom yum soup and pork salad are the stars. The bar is pretty. The quality is worth the price and there is an appetizer on the house so I can't complain.

I was really excited to try this from all the positive reviews, but ultimately found it pretty disappointing and unsanitary. The chef/owner never even said hi when entered, it was awkward, and I saw him handling the food with bare hands and dirt under fingernails… it grossed me out. The place could use a good cleaning overall. The fried chicken was good, but the pad thai was not flavorful enough in my opinion.
Wanted to go here because of good reviews but totally disappointed. Went in for lunch, when called to check for availability the staff was very rude. Walked in there were tables available, for Saturday afternoon there was no rush. Upstairs was closed off and downstairs the sitting was very compact. The server didn't come to the table unless we called out. Coming to food it was just looking nice but taste wise just average. Ordered shrimp dumplings, chicken satay which was way too soft and chewy. Penang curry was good but drunken noodles were overcooked and had gone soggy by the time we could finish our portion. Thai iced tea was the only highlight of the lunch to be honest. Won't be coming back.

This is a gem of a little place. Tight squeeze but warm and cozy. And hopping! 4 stars on food though because the chicken in my curry was overcooked. The cuury and vegetables were cooked just right and so good. My husband loved his duck.
My family and I just finished dining here at soothr. No surprises, it was fantastic. Our server Nelly was awesome. So friendly nice and fully versed on the menu items. We tried our best to get as many different dishes as this was our first time here. We had 2 appetizers. And we all had different main dishes. The pictures Don’t do the food justice. We were so impressed from the start. The appetizers were so flavorful and the main entrees were so tasty wowing us with every bite. The drinks were unique and well made. We can’t wait to come here again. Reservations are tough to get but with enough persistence you can get in. We really loved this place and will definitely be back.
The service here is incredible, all the staffs were so friendly and always caring. I particularly love the chicken cashew, this is one of the best I’ve tasted in New York. I saw the table next to us have their birthday and the staff gave them free mango sticky rice shots too, so nice!
My peers and I were at the Midtown Dream Hotel in NYC and wanted something to eat before indulging in alcohol. We decided to try Chai Chai Kitchen, but I wasn't a fan—the food didn't meet my expectations, and it took us 15 minutes to be seated.
Food is amazing their fried rice is fantastic as is their Thai dumplings, ordering over the phone can be a challenge at times but for the most part worth it. Maybe a more competent staff would help. More over its a great spot. *street parking only*
Came here with 2 of my girlfriends on a Wednesday evening and it was fantastic!! We hadn't made a reservation but we were still seated and greeted so kindly by the staff. We were seated in a cozy section of the restaurant and loved how intimate it felt in there. Our server was the sweetest!! We asked for a few things like extra plates and utensils, an extra straw caused we dropped one, and she was kind and patient with us. We ordered the pad Thai, drunken noodles, basil fried rice, chicken & cashew dish, Thai iced tea, and the sweet chili wings and everything was DELICIOUS!! Authentic, fresh, delicious- what else could you ask for? Oh wait....they played some really really nice music too!!! And I realized we were the only patrons by the time we were leaving, but they kept the sweet ambiance just for us!! THANK YOU Lucious Thai, and Happy New Year!! I highly recommend this location, 10/10!!

The server inquired if we were vegan, and upon learning we were vegetarian, mentioned something about a 'happy sauce' or possibly oyster sauce. We were confused and sought clarification about the sauce, but the server vaguely indicated that it was in all dishes except two, pointing them out in the menu without further explanation, and then left.
We requested room temperature water, which the server initially brought but then took away and didn't return for another 5-10 minutes. When it came to ordering, we weren't very hungry and chose one appetizer and one main course. However, we were informed of a $15 minimum spend per person, compelling us to order another appetizer.
The Veg Dumplings were delicious, served without any sauce. The Veg Spring Rolls were tasty but too oily, accompanied by a sauce. The Veg Fried Rice, however, was bland, tasting of raw vegetables without any seasoning. We ended up using the sauce from the spring rolls to add some flavor to it.

Wonderful place for a calm date night in the city. Came here to celebrate my anniversary as we love Thai food. Had a wonderful selection of food and everything tasted delicious. Service was above and beyond as they gave us a little card for our anniversary. Thai sea bass was cooked wonderfully and had a nice kick thanks to the Thai chilis. Would definitely come back here. Drinks were also a solid choice.

One of our favorite spots in the area. Food is excellent for the price that you pay -- it's hard to find a meal in Manhattan for under $15 these days. I always leave this place full, happy, and astounded at the value. Place is usually not very busy, and the ambiance inside is cozy and intimate. The same server has been working each time we've gone there, and we have gotten excellent service each time. Very accommodating for allergies. Someone in our party had a shellfish allergy, and the server made sure to double check that her dish was shellfish-free. Pad see eiw is a must, and they even have a section of thai street food favorites -- we get the fried egg omelet over rice every single time and it never misses.
Great Thai place as the food is delicious and the ingredients are always fresh and high quality. There is no dining in here though so it is takeout or delivery only. Definitely a regular on my lunch rotation.
Very nice spot with a variety of options! Went here for a weekday lunch with a friend and was not disappointed. People are friendly and quantities are very filling. Can add this to lunch menu rotation.

Drunken noodles were tasty, good quantity. Green chicken curry was average, good for 2 quantity. Crab fried rice, was simple, good crab meat and good quantity to share but was slightly expensive for $50.

This place is awesome and now among my favorite Thai spots in the city. Though judging from how packed it was at 2pm this past Sunday, it ranks highly on a lot of people’s lists. If going during prime time, best make a reservation to avoid disappointment. The place has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, friendly service and amazing food - which they will adjust according to your spice tolerance. What I especially like is that they have a few less common dishes along with a menu of seasonal specials and everything we had was exceptional. Highlights on this last visit included a duck that came out perfectly crispy in a nice southern style curry and the mango salad which was wonderfully fresh and flavorful. I’ll be back!
Came here for an early dinner with a large group, and shared the Papaya salad, duck entree, kha soi, pad thai, pad si ew, and pad kra pow.
Ambiance & service is great, and the food was really good too.
Papaya salad: 8.5/10 - very fresh with the perfect amount of sour. The toasted nuts were a great touch, and I found that the overall texture combination of the ingredients played well together.
Kha soi: 8.5/10 - the soup was rich in flavour, with a combination of sour and sweet. I thought the noodles could be a little more chewy, but still one of the better khao soi dishes i’ve had.
Green curry: 7/10 - while the flavour of the herbs were very much alive, it was spicier than anticipated and almost a little bitter in some ways. If you are a big green curry fan I do recommend you try it, but if you aren’t, i would opt for other dishes.
Duck entree (i forget the name): 8/10 - the basil-y sauce was so good and the duck was well cooked, but i have also tasted juicier, more tender duck in other thai restaurants. I thought it lost some of its outer skin crispiness from the sauce, but otherwise a great dish.
Pad thai: 8/10 - was on the saucier side of pad thai I have had before. Could also have more shrimp. If you like pad thai with a richer flavour, this will be good for you!
Pad si ew: 8.5/10 - the noodles were well textured and the sauce was perfect—not too sweet yet hits the spot.
Pad kra pow: 7.5/10 - i thought the rice could be a little crispier, and more flavourful.

Very accommodating staff. Got there so much earlier than our reservation time, and seated after 10-20 min wait. The place was packed during lunch time and very tight between tables with a clear plastic divider. It's smart to do that to separate the tables while conserving the space for more tables. Food was good, we finished all our food. Drinks were strong. If you haven't tried up Thai, you must go and try but be prepared for the tight space. Staff were very attentive with refilling our water, love it. Will def be going back again in the future
Thai Super is my absolute goto on days when I want something quick and delicious to eat, whether it be for lunch or dinner. Basil Sauce w/Chicken, Red Curry, Curry Puffs and, Thai Rolls are my favorite. I’m here often and the food is always fresh. The staff is always pleasant friendly.
Since it locates near our Hotel we would like to give a try since the dishes on the menu are promising. Didn’t disappoint. Nice service, the atmosphere is good and the food tastes great.

Cool vibe and busy place. Seated us right away and service was friendly and efficient. Food was great portions and tasted all good except the teenager did not like the fried rice 🍚. It was shared by the rest of the family and taken home to eat later. Good pho and got the meats. Other teenager said the best steamed dumplings 🥟 they have had. They were good.
Went on an off night for a quick bite. I only got 1 dish, and I think it is an okay spot. My food came out quick and the price is decent considering the location. I will revisit and try the other dishes the next time I'm in the area.
This is some of the best Thai food I've ever had, and I've been to Thailand (and lived in Sydney, where the Thai food is insanely good!). This is a one man show - he cooks everything from scratch. If you're ordering delivery, expect a bit of a wait because of this. It will be well worth the wait - fresh, authentic and delicious.
A hidden Gem! This restaurant is a few blocks from our hotel, needless to say I’m glad we made the choice to dine here. The service here is excellent, fast and clean! The atmosphere is also fantastic. My mother and I have a shellfish allergy, which was able to be accommodated. Instead of having shrimp in our rice and Phad Thai we were able to substitute for chicken which did not take away from the flavor at all. In addition, our server and manager Wen, mentioned the happy hour specials so my mother ordered the black berry mojito which was sweetly refreshing. We frequently travel to NYC and this gem has been added to our favorites list. Can’t wait to come back.
You guys need to get rid of the delivery guy Richard. He is very disrespectful and expects a high cash tip. He tried to run off with all my change until I chased him down. Then when i call the guy on the phone had the audacity to say " he deals with a lot delivering in a black neighborhood". I need the owners to reach out to me asap. This is unacceptable.
The food is good. They serve a great homemade Thai tea. I tried the meat pad see ew, and it was pretty decent. My issue with Thai food is that it is always sweet, even when I think it isn't supposed to be. Like, they break the sweetness rule whereas if you are doing a dish with pasta and meat that is sweet, you should at least balance it out with the sourness of a citric taste... The men's bathroom needs some maintenance.
The cutest most welcoming space. Amazing staff and delicious food. I went for lunch and they had a great special. The red curry is mouthwatering and the Crispy duck was perfect. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. I strongly recommend this place. Thank you!
Please be mindful if you are looking at the online menu, it does not tell you that the restaurant is closed from 4pm -5pm. They takes a break. Which I can’t understand if you are serving food in a restaurant. I caught an Uber from the Bx and was denied service because I got there at 4:07pm. After I had already called in my order.

I recommend taking out as there is no public bathroom. The papaya salad and pumpkin curry was great and we added the mango with sticky rice for the desert, which was too good!
Great place and plenty of good food options. For appetizers got the spring roll, which was amazing, one of the best so far. Also got fried chicken wings, they were a bit chewy but nice. For the mains got Thai fried rice with chicken, very subtle and nice taste. Prices are reasonable as per the area, a great stop overall

This is the fifth time that I have ordered the massaman Curry with prawns in it and it is always on point. I love this place. I always order in person and they have my food ready in less than 15 minutes.

Went to this Thai spot because the prices are really good! I got a Thai iced coffee, the chicken Tom Kha soup & chicken Pad See Ew noodles. The flavor just wasn’t there though. It’s good for the price but that’s pretty much it. I had to add so much hot sauce at home for it to taste like something. The Thai iced coffee was also not my favorite, it didn’t taste that much like coffee. Overall not a bad spot if you’re looking for something quick & the workers there are super nice but it just didn’t hit the spot for me.

Everything I ordered at Little Basil was delicious. Tried their Little Basil wings which were fried perfectly. Ended up ordering more. Curry puffs were light and airy, but I wish the order came with more than 3. Their pork spare ribs were flavorful and paired with a good sauce. Their mango sticky rice was exactly what I needed. Mangos were fresh and the rice provided the right amount of sweetness to go with my other dishes. Little Basil is such a cute spot, looking forward to revisiting!
I live right down the road from here and it’s me and my boyfriend’s all time favorite place in the city! The panang curry is TO DIE FOR!! Their lunch special is awesome!! On special nights we get the pineapple duck curry cause it’s the best thing on this planet I swear on everything you have to try it!! We go here almost 2-3 times a week sometimes cause we just can’t get enough of it! Not to mention the amazing ambiance, I loveee how dimly lit it is at night!! Such a vibe with such amazing food!!! got pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and sizzling beef. it was incredible, waitstaff was super kind and attentive, and portions are generous! also got a thai long island iced tea + a lemongrass cosmo… delicious! +the calamari spice - enjoyed it so quickly we didn’t even get a pic!
Found this place on Grubhub and ordered a Pad Thai go. The rice noodles were cooked amazingly, they gave a good amount of vegetables and were well garnished with peanuts and lime. The combination of the Pad Thai had a sweet, sour, and spicy flavor, especially with that sauce. the vegetables provided a crunch to it along with the peanuts making have that slightly nutty flavor.
I don’t want anyone to know about this wonderful restaurant, because I fear once discovered I won’t be able to get in. All dishes prepared with soul and genius of experience. Decor is best of what people mean by eclectic, one of the tables is a very old and well used drafting table, with 10,000 memories shining through. I’ll say simply: best restaurant in New York City.
My second review about this neighborhood gem. I had the most delicious chicken pad Thai and their wonton shop is definitely the best I’ve had in a long time. Not only is the food delicious but the customer service is so warm, attentive and friendly.
Underwhelming… food didn’t taste good. Only thing I liked was their gyoza. If you go for their lunch special, it’ll come with soup/salad, and choices of appetizer (spring roll, gyoza, dumplings, etc) but otherwise, I don’t recommend because you can get better food elsewhere. Service was great though, waitress was attentive and friendly. The beef noodle soup’s noodle to broth ratio was off. There was too much noodles and broth was mid. My friend didn’t like her squid because she said it didn’t taste fresh, but frozen. The food here is not terrible, just not great. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items…
I ordered the masaman curry with chicken and it was the best I ever had. The spices melded together so well. I’m a chef who grew up and makes a excellent curry myself and I have to applaud them. I walked in and service was gracious and fast. I barely got into tick tock and I was walking out.
The last time I was here, they only offered takeouts. We ordered the Pad Thai, Chicken Wings, Fried Rice, Shumai, and Spring Rolls for lunch at Central Park. I could say that everything tasted super good and very authentic also we got the Iced Thai Tea – undoubtedly refreshing and not too sweet to my taste. Everyone should try this !!!
Small place with a great lunch menu. They were overburdened by requests on Grubhub lunch special offer and not enough staff to serve everyone so I had to icku my order. However when I came they re-made my order quickly and gave me a iced tea for my wait. Would go back again as I enjoyed the portion sizes and flavors.
We walked in and ordered parang curry and a couple of appetizers. The Penang curry had a dead cockroach in it. We immediately called and let them know. We walked back to them and gave them back all the food. We were informed that we could only have panang curry refund even though we gave back all food and hadn’t eaten anything other than a couple of bites. It was a very uncomfortable experience and cannot believe they didn’t even offer a full refund. If there was one dead cockroach in the curry there is more.

No frills kind of cafe. I wanted to eat lunch here, but there was no room at the time. Staff were eating and deliver guys were inside. I just ordered and picked it up. They have a decent lunch menu for $10, you get a decent amount of food with a choice of appetizer. They take card which is convenient. Food is hot and good. I just wish there was room to in it. I’ll come back to try other things on their menu.

Live around the corner & this is my favorite Thai in the city. High quality food, better than many places 3X the price. Unpretentious and delicious. Staff are also super nice, and service is legit. The lunch deal is insane!! Full size soup/drink/entree for like 12 bucks! P.S. get the Shrimp Thai Fried rice -- you're welcome.
Not sure where to go here. This place is a takeout place. 2 tiny tables ony and no ambience. I was amazed by the pork dumplings but i hated the pad thai. The pork dumplings are small but the filling was so subtly seasoned that my taste buds went "ahhhh"! The pad thai had a lot of bean sprouts that the whole dish tasted like bean sprouts. The bad thing about that was that the pad thai otherwise had no flavor. Im just that way with pad thai though. Most places dont have pad thai that i love anyhow.
Pretty good food, pretty good service. They do take out, delivery, and eat-in (though the shop is very small). Not fancy, but not bad. $10 for dinner.
