Statue of writer Edgar Allan Poe in Boston at the corner of Boylston and Charles Street. I've lived here for most of my life and saw this statue just recently because I don't walk up this street. Mr. Poe seems serious yet vibrant.
Tower Hill Garden

Pretty area close to the Underground station and to the Tower of London. There are benches, but little to shade.
The Buckingham Palace Garden is at the end of the tour. The lawn is well-maintained. There were a few pheasants or grouses on the grass. There is a large gift shop in the garden. I assembled my own afternoon tea by getting two sandwiches and a can of spring water, which was more affordable than the afternoon tea box of £27.50. Each sandwich was £5.50.

Paid visitors can sit in the palace grounds overlooking the garden. There are many benches that line the walkway of the garden, leading to the exit.

Buckingham Palace accepts American Express.
The National Gallery

The National Gallery in London is huge, has extraordinary priceless paintings, ample seating, lovely architecture and admission is free to everyone. Of course, it merits 5 stars.

Bathrooms close around 20 minutes to closing, so time wisely.

I had taken a bus to Leicester Square, but it is easier to go to Trafalgar Square to locate the museum.
British Museum Shop

Extensive shops throughout the museum. Books, postcards, toys, bottled water in the center section and a jewelry shop by first floor entrance.
