Also known as The Congregational Church, built between 1841-1846 & identified as Old Colonial Grecian style building. Stunning sandstone façade with four classical columns if you're walking past here on the Pitt Street side. It's been noticed, even for me living in the city, that it's always being abused with graffiti! Credited to architects John Bibb and GA Mansfield. It was awarded the RAIA Award (Royal Australian Institute of Architecture) for outstanding conservation in 1984. What really strikes me about this place of worship is the exterior of the building. The interior really has a lot of upkeep but generally a beautiful church contributing to the overall heritage of this city. Absolutely worth having a look and they are very welcoming in their services for all people of all backgrounds.

Convenient bus stop from the city to the Art Gallery of NSW. Bus 441 from York Street (QVB building) stops here. What else to write about a bus stop!
It's worth checking online for bus timetables with Sydney public transport. The other bus stop is near the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool that service this area of the Domain and Royal Botanic Gardens.
Another stunning garden setting inside the Royal Botanic Gardens that can also be hired as wedding venue. It's free to explore of course. It's manicured with exotic herbs and well positioned sculptures making it very formal and elegant yet very inviting and relaxing ambiance. Behind this garden is a walkway with terraced area behind it to escape the heat. This garden is perfect in the cooler months as I find this very exposed to the summer heat. It's a gorgeous place to relax and reflect. Very inviting atmosphere for all ages.

It's listed as "venue for hire" but still part of the Royal Botanic Gardens overall setup. This is one of several sections of the garden being classified with lawn numbers for the purpose of public hiring and when booking for special events like weddings or the New Year's Eve fireworks. It's a spectacular spot like all the other lawn areas in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Public toilet is at Mare & Foal public toilet and the closest entry is from Victoria Lodge Gate. The best landmark in this lawn area is the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates.
A gorgeous lawn area for everyone.

Ethereal experience, priceless vistas of this stupendous harbour city of Sydney. This is of course the entire Promenade from Mrs. Macquarie Point to Benelong Point (where the Sydney Opera House stands). This is one of the vantage points to really appreciate the beauty of this city. The land meeting the sea and embrace by the stunning blue horizon! Absolutely worth visiting and exploring for all ages.
