The cafe's cozy and inviting atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and made excellent coffees. However, the true standout was the honey cake - just as it is at their sister cafe in Leith.
Incredible experience that shouldn't be missed when visiting Dubai. The Boardwalk offers an up-close and personal view of the world-famous Dubai Fountain show. You can stay for as long as you want and enjoy the show multiple times. And trust me, it's worth it! Every show is different, with a unique soundtrack and choreography, making each performance a new and exciting experience.
I was thoroughly impressed with the iconic location and stylish sophistication of this historic establishment. During my visit, I enjoyed afternoon tea accompanied by the soothing sounds of a live piano. The service was impeccable, and the food was divine. The selection of teas and finger sandwiches was exceptional, and the scones with clotted cream and jam were a particular highlight.
The quality of the food left me absolutely speechless, especially the pasta dishes which were truly exceptional. The cacio e pepe and the pappardelle with wild boar ragù were my top picks, but honestly, every dish I tasted was outstanding. The pasta was so good that I found myself returning to the restaurant multiple days in a row during my stay in Florence. In addition to the remarkable food, the restaurant boasts breathtaking views of Piazza della Signoria that only added to the overall dining experience. However, the service was disappointingly slow.
Probably the most zen cafe in the city. The whole space is just filled with peace and harmonious ambience. There’s always soft music and light, some beautiful art work and projections. The coworking space is a lovely addition to an already highly versatile cafe.
