This museum is one of my top 3 places to visit in Tokyo! The tour is free, and you get the chance to visit a display area and gift shop in the first half, then visit 2 of the hangers in the last half. This included 7 info displays which you can scan your visitor card to collect virtual stamps, sit at a cockpit and even take quick photoshoots wearing the JAL attendant/pilot uniforms! The second half required helmets, and we walked through the hanger to see both landing planes and planes underworld. We broke up into smaller groups to do this, and got to see the pokemon designed JAL planes flying in as a bonus! Our tour guide spoke a little English, and did most of the tour in English - but she was still quick to check up on us from time to time. I loved everything on the tour, and highly recommend the JAL Sky museum especially for aviation and plane enthusiasts!
The food here is delicious and the servings are huge! We ended up sharing one hotpot because it was our first time here, and having hot pot in Seattle. The staff there was very courteous and patient in getting our order and explaining how buying items for the hotpot works. It's a great bang for your buck, and everything needed for a hotpot is provided.
Though I haven't had the other menu items, I still highly recommend visiting Gourmet Noodle bowl, for having a hot pot get together!

Because my husband loves astronomy and star-gazing, this is a must-go place to visit for him. I was also intrigued by the giant observatory, plus the visitor centre building that was displayed as a museum. There were many detailed photos of planets, stars, nebulas, etc. plus they sell items too at the gift shop. There were many helpful volunteers around that helped guide and explain the observatory's history and current events. I highly recommend getting a free self-guided tour too!
The overall building and greenery outside is well-kept. David Dunlap Observatory serves as an important history in Toronto for it's astrological findings. It's free to visit with ample parking space.

This museum is very easily spotted at the center of the city, just by the totem poles. It was a very interesting experience for me, seeing all the historical items and details of the history here - from the Japanese immigration, to the first settlers meeting the indigenous people who lived on this land - I was very pleased to see how descriptive and detailed the information presented here was. Admission is by donation, and there are souvenirs at the front desk. The staff working there was also kind and welcoming to visitors. I highly suggest stopping by here to see what the Cowichan Valley museum has to offer; especially if you're a tourist and/or seeing the totems here!
The shop name says it all! There are thousands of various crafts and arts sold here; from stickers, accessories, and journals, to 3D puzzles, cards and other decorative items! My friends and I find ourselves drawn to this store and visited more than once to browse through all the creativity that the shop had to offer. The staff that worked here were all friendly and readily helpful whenever we needed help. They were just one call away!
The prices here are higher than usual, when compared to online retail prices (i.e Amazon). There was also a 3D card I found on display, that I wanted to buy as a gift for my mother-in-law, however turns out they were all sold-out. The staff I inquired from removed the card from display too.Regardless, it is still worth dropping by here if you're looking for a new hobby, or wish to revive your inner creativity. Luminary Arts is the place for you!
