I'm so glad I decided to step into Augusto77 for lunch. While it's a must for me to try some of the classics whenever I visit a new city, I love to try other cuisines as well. Not trying to miss out on an amazing meal because it's not the traditional food of the region. The Linguine Amatriciana I had was delicious and authentic. Special shout-out to the Blanc de Noir Frizzante Valentin....I could have chugged the whole bottle of this sparkling rose. If you see it...try it! It's stellar! The server working was great. He was attentive and genuinely helpful. A great experience overall! If you find yourself in Munich and have a craving for some Italian food, go to Augusto77, you won't be disappointed!

Small but stylish bar with patio seating near the famous Neus Rathaus. Great place to stop in for a quick drink or to spend the better part of the afternoon when the weather is nice.

An airy and bright cafe serving up California inspired breakfast food and coffee. The staff here are great! I walked straight here upon arrival in Munich with my luggage. The server that greeted me took my bag and made sure it was safe then escorted me to a table. I was told it was cash only but that I could order and dine then get money from an ATM down the street no problem. This was reiterated to me several times to ensure that I relaxed and enjoyed my meal. All the dishes are named after various areas in Southern California. Being from Los Angeles this tickled me. I wound up ordering the Hermosa Beach dish. It was hash brown with caramelized onions, cheese, bacon and fried eggs with some sprouts on top. The dish was filling without being too heavy. The bacon was to die for after being served the equivalent of sliced ham so many times in Europe and being told it is bacon. The bacon served here is a crispy, salty delight! Even though the restaurant was full, I was served in a timely manner and my server checked in with me several times while I was dining. After I finished my meal, I was directed to the ATM and returned in less than five minutes to pay cash for my meal. No fuss, no muss! As my first dining experience in Munich, California Bean did not disappoint. I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu.

Cool little Irish pub. The beer is cheap and the service is friendly.

Small bar with a large patio that fills up quickly. Reasonable prices and quick service. Good people watching in a lively area.
