I loved this attraction - the tour guide gave us glimpses into the Eerie Canal and how it was manmade, how young (many Irish) immigrants helped in the caves. I could understand why people think the caves in this area of the Eerie Canal might be haunted. Suitable for all ages.

I love visitor's centers that are filled with history and great information about the area. With the 250th anniversary coming up, this center has amazing interactive spaces, some museum pieces, tons of history concerning the Battle of Saratoga. Right now they have a traveling DAR show on the lower level. It wasn't open when we were there, so I need to go back. Pretty new, friendly staff, really nice.
