There has been a large number of ramps, steps, and paths added to the 🏖 beach 🌊 after they rebuilt the boardwalk. After Big Sandy came threw and made things happen! At the current time 12/2022. There's a few large projects going on along the shore line. Such as Sand replishment and 🪨 Jetties.

I always wondered 🤔 how the construction of the 🪨Jetties 🪨 took place? I don't know if this was the same way that they constructed the older jetties from Bch 90th St. down to FarRockaway?
I don't know what took so long on making the decision to go farther down the beach with them? Because you seen after ever Big Storm, the difference in the area with jetties and without them.

The Ride to the lower East side of Manhattan was about 50min. With a quick stop in Brooklyn was alot more enjoyable than taking the (A) 🚆. On a good day it's about a hr on the train. But anyway it was a nice day out so we rode on the top. We had great views 360° from Rockaway to the point and all along Brooklyn, Coney Island 🏝 and the Verrazzono Bridge 🌉 looks a lot different from the water.

There's been a lot of changes on this block from Beach to Bay. After Big Sandy came threw 10yrs ago in about 2 weeks. From the New Jetties and rebuilt boardwalk down (3 blocks) to Jamaica Bay. The play ground was as well as the Hockey ring was rebuilt. The street between Shore Front Pkwy and Rockaway Beach Blvd. Has been rebuilt with a working island (bike/walkway). The Hotel, Pharmacy, and the Ferry at the end.

It's 1 of many different points of entry along the boardwalk. This particular 1 just happens to enter Wavecrest Apartments complex.
