From this house in 1848 Frederic Chopin (1810-1849) went to Guildhall to give his last public performance.

Hardly a "rose garden" as described by the lovely plaque mounted on the big rock beside it. From what I can see, there is only one rather sad rose bush.

This garden was presented to the City of Toronto by the Monarchist League of Canada, Toronto Branch in 1977.
