Salkara Restaurant
2023 Oct 19
I recently dined at this Kerala cuisine restaurant in Qusais, and it was a remarkable experience. It’s a branch of one of the oldest and most reputable restaurant chains from Calicut, so expected truly authentic food. What impressed me the most was the distinct taste of each dish I tried. The restaurant’s inviting interior not only allowed me to enjoy a delightful cup of tea but also provided an excellent setting for networking. Plus, the convenience of parking is a big plus, and if you’re lucky, you might even score free parking!
Damas Jewellery

Damas started selling jewelry in Dubai way back in 1959. This shop is very reliable, especially when it comes to buying gold and diamonds. I've been coming here for a long time, and I can say with confidence that you can recommend this shop to anyone without any hesitation. The staff is really professional, and they provide great service even after you've made a purchase. You won't be disappointed if you choose to shop at Damas.
Nakheel Mall
2023 Oct 07
Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah is a pretty good shopping center right in the middle of the Palm. There are plenty of places for kids to have fun, and some nice restaurants for fancy dining. You can even pay for a ticket to get a full view of the Palm from the top of the mall. They have stores that are in the middle to upper price range, but they're not very big, probably because space here is expensive. In short, it's a nice place to check out if you're in the area.

A must visit place in Kuala Lumper. Buy the tickets in advance.
The KL Tower Observation Deck, is an iconic attraction that offers visitors an awe-inspiring view of the city. Situated within the Menara KL telecommunications tower, this observatory stands 276 meters (905 feet) above the ground and provides an unrivaled 360-degree panorama of Kuala Lumpur's skyline. Its remarkable architecture and sleek design make it a distinctive landmark on the cityscape.

You can expect an unforgettable experience. The main draw is the spectacular view, which encompasses the city's modern skyscrapers, historical landmarks, and lush green surroundings. The observation deck features both indoor and outdoor viewing areas with glass walls for unobstructed vistas. It's an ideal spot for photography and enjoying the cityscape, especially during sunset and evening when the city lights up.

The KL Tower complex offers more than just breathtaking views. Visitors can dine at the revolving restaurant, Atmosphere 360, providing a unique dining experience with changing scenery. Additionally, there are thrilling attractions like the Sky Box, a glass-bottomed viewing platform that extends from the tower, as well as a mini zoo and cultural performances. A visit to the KL Tower Observation Deck promises not only visual delight but also a sense of wonder, making it a must-visit destination for those exploring Kuala Lumpur.
If you’re in Dubai and on the hunt for a remarkable vegetarian dining experience, look no further than this hidden gem. This restaurant holds the distinction of being one of the oldest vegetarian outlets in Dubai, with its roots tracing back to the bustling Shaikh Colony Qusais, where it has been serving delectable dishes for several decades.

While this restaurant might not have a direct affiliation with the well-known culinary traditions of Uduppi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Tamilnadu, it seamlessly blends the flavors of both South and North Indian vegetarian cuisine. Here, you’ll embark on a gastronomic journey that marries the best of both worlds.

One of the standout features of this establishment is its affordability. In a city known for its diverse dining options, this restaurant stands out as a budget-friendly choice without compromising on taste or quality. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, this place offers a welcome respite for your taste buds and wallet.

Having personally savored the offerings here, I can vouch for the exceptional quality of their dishes. It’s a rare occurrence to encounter any negative comments about their menu items. Their commitment to delivering consistently delicious food is truly commendable.

If you happen to have a sweet tooth, make sure to indulge in their Mysorepak and jillebi. These treats are a delightful embodiment of freshness and flavor, making them a must-try. Sometimes, I can’t resist bringing these home to enjoy later.

In summary, this restaurant is a highly recommended destination for anyone who appreciates vegetarian cuisine and is open to savoring the essence of both South and North Indian flavors. It’s the perfect spot for those who don’t have a specific regional preference but are eager to explore the rich tapestry of vegetarian dishes that this establishment has to offer.
