HUGE and VAST. Lots of stores, hotels and restaurants.

Excellent walk along both sides of the Main River. Beautiful all times of the year. Great for people watching .
A mini botanical garden with tropical type plants on the north side of the river along the riverwalk.
Several restaurants along and on the river on boats can be accessed from the Mainpromenade.
There also sightseeing boats that leave from various areas along the promenade as well.

These "anlage" that girdle downtown Frankfurt are an amazingly peaceful getaway located right in the middle of the bustling financial and business capital of Europe.
These interconnected greenways all have different names but can be walked , biked, hiked, and enjoyed in separately or in one urban hike or bike ride.
You can hop from one to another greenspace . There is the Taunusanlage , RothschildPark , Bockenheimeranlage , Eschenheimeranlage , Bethmann Park , Friedbergeranlage and probably a few I am forgetting. All closely interconnected and walkable.
There are many access points for entering these parks . Restaurants abound at all access points.

The Vancouver Community Library is centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Modern multi storied central library building was built as a welcome improvement over the original library several years ago.
Excellent resource for people of all ages but especially the children.
Computer resources available there.
Mini used bookstore on site.
Lots of parking available.
Handicap parking readily available.
Great helpful staff .
Online book reservations available.
