We came to Twisted Goods for some gift ideas for teachers and were not disappointed.
This store carries an eclectic variety of gift products, from cool socks to pottery to even lego frames!
Some stuff is tongue-in-cheek that just makes you laugh.
Definitely come here if you're looking for gift ideas.

This park is quite extensive, reaching from Bow Trail down the hill towards Bowness. The park has a designated area for a dog park, and lots of dog lovers bring their dogs here to run and play. There's multiple BBQ and picnic areas throughout the park.
My kids love the play area. There's a large jungle gym with 4 swings. The ground is made of solid rubber, so there's no worry about rocks and wood chips. There's several picnic tables surrounding this play area, perfect for parents to sit and watch their kids. The parking lot is usually pretty filled, but we always managed to find a spot.
Come here if you live in the area.

UPDATE: This location is a regular place for us. We love coming here for ramen and some take-home sushi. Ramen is cost-effective and sushi is reasonable.
We had passed by Tokyo Street Market to eat upstairs at Honjin and saw how packed it was downstairs, so I made a mental note to come back to try them.
Well, we finally did, and Tokyo Street Market is awesome. I got the Chashu Men Ramen with Tonkotsu broth while my wife chose the Mazemen Ramen, which was soupless. For the kids, we got them a Miso Ramen to share. I decided to combo mine with Pork Gyoza and a Diet Pepsi. You save a buck or two with the combo.
We love all the food. I liked how hearty my Chashu Men was while my wife found her Mazemen to be smokey/toasty. The kids easily finished their Miso Ramen. The Pork Gyozas were crispy and hot.
Beyond the hot food, we picked up some sushi as they were 30% off. Hands down, the Seared Salmon Oshi Zushi, aka Aburi Salmon, was the best deal. I will come back for that alone!

We came here on recommendations by another Vietnamese person, so we thought it should meet authentic standards.
The restaurant was decently busy with staff moving about. We got a pho and a vermicelli bowl. Both were tasty and delicious. I really liked how crispy the spring rolls were.

My in-laws know that I love East Indian food so they told me there's a great place in a popular East Indian area. The place was Desi Bites.
Walking in, the entire restaurant was full and I felt like I walked into Indian town. That gave me confidence that there's some authentic, delicious food to be had here.
We received our order of Lamb Rogan Josh (classic lamb curry), Chicken Tikka Masala, Dum Ka Goat, and Mutton Chettinad along with a foil tray of Saffron Rice, Plain and Garlic Naan.
First off, the Saffron Rice was cooked properly. I expected no less from any self-respecting East Indian restaurant. They were generous with the rice and we had plenty left over.
The plain Naan and Garlic Naan was cooked perfectly and met my expectations. Personally, I prefer the plain as it is a classic for me.
I specifically asked for the Lamb Rogan Josh so this was the first dish that I tried. It was fragrant and contained bone-in pieces of lamb. Some places that I have tried in the past skip the bone parts. I enjoyed the curry flavor and ate most of it myself.
The Dum Ka Goat was even more fragrant and had a flowery hint. I have never had this dish before, but found the curry different, yet enjoyable.
The Mutton Chettinad was thicker and less gravy-like. The curry leaves helped thicken up the gravy and gave additional flavor to the curry. It was decent, but not my preference.
Finally, the Chicken Tikka Masala was the consensus least favorite as it was on the sweet side. I prefer savory food so the Chicken Tikka Masala would never win me over. My in-laws didn't like the sweetness as well. We did try mixing the other curries with the Chicken Tikka Masala to reduce the sweetness. It was passable, but we won't order it again.
Overall, Desi Bites delivered some delicious dishes and we can see why it was packed on a weeknight.
