One big, u-shaped bar, 25-30 bar stools, and 1 tired bartender. 2 beers on tap (Sam Adams, Goose Island) about 10 more in bottle/can. Ordered a Caprese salad and about 10 min later, the bartender informed me that they "don't have tomatoes or the other stuff". This place is 'spensive, not having food available, and only offering two non-local, mediocre taps, drops the rating down to two stars.

Lemongrass sorbet and lemon ginger sorbet are of the hook! Yeah, not cheap but consider the location and c'mon, after you tasted that lemongrass sorbet on a hot summer day, you will go back and would pay twice as much to get it again.
The theater had good acoustic, comfy chairs, easy in and out and always good music. Listened to quite a bit of Jazz in that theater and have never been disappointed. I am not sure why attendance is usually low, it could be one of the hot venues in town.
The renovated Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame is highly functional and its foyer is a nice place for a function. The entrance lost a bit of its charm during the renovation but usability and easier maintenance are, in this case, more important.
