Tod Inlet Trailhead

Nice trail area overlooking some great views and some very still water. Some trail lead behind the Butchart Gardens. Nice place to get your exercise in or a dog walk for that matter. Would like to explore the area more so I will be back to make a more informed review

Perfect place to view the sunsets, that being said, we were late to view it. It was cloudy but the sun was visible at points. It was our first time here, found it by fluke as we were leaving one destination for another and saw the sun break through the clouds and wanted a vantage point without all the trees that line the sides of the road. Seemed to be a popular place as it was somewhat filled in the upper and lower parking lots. Would definitely love to come back and relax and watch the sun cross the sky. Would recommend stopping in and take in the view of the city and the skyline..
This place isn't for a leisure walk, it even has a sign posted letting you know you might be getting in a little over your head with this one. Not recommended for people with bad knees or a heart condition just for the sheer walk down then back up again. The view at the bottom reminded me of Lake Louise in Alberta. What a gorgeous view, was so glad I didn't give up and pack it in. Definitely feeling it the next day kinda vibes. I had my knees taped and used walking poles for added stability. Bring water and some snacks because you're gonna want to take it all in. Definitely coming back here again and highly recommended as well.

Loved the area, so much to see. There are multiple viewpoints to look at the beauty that surrounds you. Little islands filled with various types of birds and seals. I've got to come back for a sunset here as the ocean is wide open for your enjoyment. There are trails that lead off into multiple areas. There are a couple of picnic tables at the top of the big open area and some benches placed throughout as well.

Nice place to stretch the legs and take a breath of fresh air. Terry fox trail leads through here too so you will see joggers and cyclists as well. Plenty of wildlife in the area to see, if you do have smaller dogs keep them close by as it gets into the evening hours due to coyotes in the area. Have seen a couple as big as a large dog so I'm on guard for my kids, by the same token, I have been here hundreds of times and have seen them about 3 times in total. Don't want to alarm, just informing. Knowing is half the battle according to G.I Joe...
