Had a contract with Home Team. The first year was good. Quick call outs and responses to requests. Some concerns with mark ups for sourcing parts (not covered in annual maintenance plan) but mostly could be sorted out. 2nd year was unfortunately a huge disappointment in terms of customer service. Repeated visits did not fix problems. Requests to escalate or gain guarantees of better service were ignored. Twice services requested were eventually cancelled after weeks of the company being unable to send someone or organise the solution. Eventually had to cancel the contract. A pity after the first year was so good.

Clear and prompt communication. System generated invoicing, account status and booking. Good techinical expertise. Provide a thorough protection to the surrounding areas. Reasonable pricing. Wide range of services. Above all, eager to provide good services. Only maintenance team I encountered who took care not to touch ceiling access panels with bare hands to avoid leaving marks!

I used HomeTeam several times, including for the full renovation of my apartment. Tiles, plumbing, carpentry, electricity all professionally done in time. I am very happy and I will continue using their services ( Shanu, Zaid, Mintu, Fahad, Derminter, Prabu, Sunil, Archad... Thank you 🙏🏻 )

The Home Team is a thoroughly professional organization.
Starting from their point of interaction which in my case was managed by Ms Hashani to Engineering which was managed by Mr Zaid, my experience would be rated as 5 stars. Their team of workers was extremely polite and respectful of their surroundings.
The quality of work man ship was outstanding.

My experience with Friends Real Estate was far below expectations. The agency owner, Sarwar, displayed a lack of professionalism in communication.The overall service provided by the agency was disappointing and unhelpful.
I strongly advise anyone searching for a rental property to avoid this agency. Their lack of professionalism makes them unsuitable for assisting with such an important decision.

Very poor overall, both in quality of work and communication.

Very unresponsive, take a long time to deal with or even acknowledge issues even with an AMC. Require repeated follow ups due to lack of communication.

Quality of work has been poor - fixed broken pipe incorrectly and it broke again, solar water heater was damaged, roof waterproofing didn't work, and when asked to check AC mould they checked from the floor without even climbing to AC. Two weeks later another company found the mould.

Now even for work that is included in AMC package, they come up with reasons to charge for it. This is after 4 weeks of waiting for them to show up

Despite repeated complaints and requests to improve service, only getting generic responses with no accountability.

The worst ever, unprofessional, false promises, not recommended

The hometeam have been fantastic so far. Always consistent when I book a job with them. They fix my issues quickly and respond with an ETA so I know when to expect them. No long lead times and the team are always friendly and can do attitude. I would highly recommend them after using several maintenance companies in Dubai. They really are professional and just what you need when home issues arise!

Don't risk it. Please.

I cannot express enough how utterly disappointed I am with “friends real estate” there is nothing friendly about them. My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of renting a property through them, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. From day one, their lack of attention and professionalism was atrocious. It felt like we were invisible tenants, as our concerns were consistently ignored and brushed aside. The living conditions were unsatisfactory with numerous issues that went unaddressed despite repeated complaints. (Particularly the AC which living in Dubai is absolutely essential) We spent two years, and lost various days having to go to a hotel because we literally couldn’t live in our house mid Dubai summer heat. they refused to pay for anyone who wasn’t “their” technician which delayed the fixing of the AC. I strongly advise anyone considering renting through them to look elsewhere. They have shown zero regard for their tenants' well-being and are completely incompetent in their duties.ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

The Home Team has done a complete renovation for me. The result is astonishing.

Shanu’s team was exceptional. They renovated 3 bathrooms, the kitchen, the ceiling, electricity and plumbing. Shanu was able to keep the budget as we discussed. I purchased a kitchen tap from the US that wasn’t compatible with local pipes and fittings and they were able to find a vendor to order a custom fitting on the same day.

If you want to renovate your apartment I would advise to request Shanu as manager. He was able to fix all the issues promptly and was very understanding.
