I think the girl who served me was named Ria, she had red hair and had an American accent - she was the sweetest person I've ever met and was so helpful, super friendly and just overall, made me feel so welcome and happy!

This is unbiased but Rou is the most vibey cashier to existence. Get this girl a pay rise now.

The owner of this place has no idea what customer service is. He is not helpful at all, always looks dirty as well. He needs to take some lessons from Meadows Springs newsagency where nothing is too much trouble for them. It's bad when we have a newagency right on our doorstep, but prefer to go to Meadow Springs.

Told to spend 15.00 for my 9.95 sat lotto ? Buy EXTRA scratchies Asian man says I tell him No. !Only want tonights lotto. Dont want a gambling addiction win some lose more. GAMBLING ADDICTION your adding to it making ppl buy extra scratchies avoid this place. I reported to lotto west and thinking of gambling adiction hotline. Centre management also.

Such a convenient and well stocked newsagent, I regularly use the Aus post services and get my dry cleaning done, besides picking up my lotto etc.
The staff are always very helpful, I once left something in the store and about a week later the owner saw me in store and returned the item which I was very grateful for!

I feel that the customer service is great he is polite and funny well done to the owner without you there wouldn't be a news agency 👍🏾

I walked in the store and asked for a Christmas Tree. The Staff (S...h...n.) at the counter was not attending anyone, said me it's $900, you can try to go to KMART and pointing with a finger the Christmas Tree is there at the window.

I don't know why she is judging that someone can't buy $900 product and sending me to KMART.

I said to the staff, could you please show me where it is? then she walked and showed me.

I said her, why you judging and saying it is of $900 and try KMART, then she said I apology.

I said to her can I see your Manager. I explained to the manager what your staff said me? Manager said, I apology .

I said to Manager, how she can judge someone can't afford $900 product and guiding to go to try KMART.

Manager said, her mean is there is variety in KMART.
I said to manager, your staff judged me on my appearance.
Manager said, No, It's not like this. My husband is from Phi....

I said to manager, can I have your name and I want to do written complaint, can you spell staff name and yours.
Manager shouted on me and said LEAVE THE STORE, and said other staff to call security.
I said can you spell staff's name, again she said, LEAVE THE STORE.
Manager waved her hand on me, I said what is this, and with teasing face she said good bye.
I walked out the store.

Is the girl who was working in the store this arvo the boss of the shop? She was so proud of herself, and no hi, no thanks, no receipt, no asking if I need it, before and after we purchased the products. I don't know your other customers, but we don't like to see your nostril PLEEEEEASE. So give me a reason to purchase from your store?! No service, no customers goodbye

This shop has been a lifesaver for me so many times for last-minute gifts, cards and stationery. A fantastic range to choose from. The new owner and the other staff are great, always ready to help , especially with the post office and lotteries. I can't imagine my life without them here in Woodlands.

The new owner and her team at Woodlands Newsagency are friendly, helpful and have a wonderful community spirit. There is a great range of gifts, stationery and magazines, an efficient Post Office and the Lotteries. We are so lucky to have a locally owned business in our village.

A product priced at 14$ was actually 20$, So I told my partner to see if we still wanted to purchase at that price point. (It might take 5 sec?) Then, one of the workers said “you want to buy or not?” So rude. So so rude, i could understand if they were busy and under stress but i was the only customer in the store! Customers have a right to think of buying products or not, especially if the staff incompetently label the merchandise. Please, teach her how to do customer service before starting work.

Absolutely rude wasn't feeling well was served by owner was told my $11 .60 purchase wasn't enough for his eftpos limit of $15. He said I needed to buy $5 more on lotttery or pay cash I said I didn't need anything else and didn't have cash, he dressed me down and said I should know his limits he said "Are you testing me". He proceeded to raise his voice and tell me off that he had that conversation with me previously. I had to walk away. Was feeling embarrassed. On reflection I remember over 2 years ago I was $1.50 short of his lotto eftpos limit. Won't ever be going back & reporting it to Lotterywest. No stars when a man rudely intimidates & embarrasses a lady

Any business not offering unrestricted access to electronic payments without minimum spend limits ($15 at Lakers News) should be avoided. Exchanging cash is just another risky exposure to Covid.

There was a lovely lady working there today. Was extremely friendly and bubbly. Made the experience very pleasurable. They've hired a winner.

Great selection of items. Some have profanity. So not for everyone. So if you're over-sensitive, keep walking. I love it though, so funny. I've bought many things from there. And the service is always great, very friendly staff

Didn't realise that this store has a no refund policy like other nextra stores do. Tried to return a product purchase 2 days prior that hadn't be opened or touched with receipt and was turned away.

Couldn't find any policy's online or anywhere with this written like other stores do very disappointed.

Went there yesterday to cash in a winning scratchie.waited for a few minutes while he ate a nectarine or someting. said hello to the owner after he decided to come over to me asked if he could please check my ticket he

grabbed it scanned it and threw down on the counter .asked for a particular ticket which he grabbed and chucked in down the counter no thing said from him on whole transaction lost my trade mate go back to manners school

Great selection of gifts especially their home decor & delicious treats from New Farm Confectionary.

If i could negative star this i would. Guy who runs it is rude and has no customer service skills. Cant even check scratchies with out complaining and saying i should be doing it myself its not his job. Wont go back to the shop.

Great range of products for reasonable prices. The staff were attentive and helpful even though the shop was full and busy. Managed to find what I was after and got it for a discounted rate, too. Very pleased. I will definitely be back for all my workplace office needs.
