Had the combo beef and chicken kabob and it was so delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavourful. Super lovely staff - this is my new kabob place!
Such nice and friendly folks here. Ordered a pad Thai and level 6 spice. Unfortunately it was a tad bit spicier than what I would expect!
Also ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned while the mango chunks unfortunately tasted rather sour.

Great food and service. There are usually some sort of price fixe menu specials, which is awesome if you want to try a bit of everything.

What a great place for nice dinner. Spent my 61st birthday there last night with my wife. The food was delicious the service was impeccable and our server Miranda was funny, personable and super accommodating. The restaurant was full by 6pm which is a really good indicator. Great atmosphere, no TVs and no loud music.
Full disclosure - I've never met a falafel I haven't loved...but this one was exceptionally good. Thanks for being the highlight of my day!
FOOD IS SO BAD and its getting worse every single time I go there. No matter how many chance I give them, it is always a missed and WILL NEVER GONNA GET BETTER. There is no quality in the food. Lettuce from the salad are brown already and not fresh. Chickpeas are mushy all the time and portions are so tiny compared to other shawarma places. Meat are not cooked fresh everyday so you get a dry meat most of the time. When I saw today that there’s a new batch of meat I went there for lunch but the food was half wet like as if I am eating a porridge. $16 for a small portion of meat and rice and bad quality is ridiculous. This place will not get any better at all.
How have I not reviewed my favourite shawarma place in the whole, wide world? 6 stars! I have eaten here since 1993. With just a few small tables along one side of a narrow restaurant, the dine-in experience is all about the food. I have come to appreciate amazing homemade garlic sauce, tabouli made by the owner and some of the best beet-pickled turnip ever. I will continue to drop by for (mostly) chicken platters as long as I'm able and continue to be happy to pick them up for friends. There are plenty of okay-to-good shawarma spots in Ottawa, but this one will always be my favourite!
We've been searching for a new Indian joint ever since we lost Namaste during the pandemic. We've tried plenty of places across the city and while they've all been good, none have quite hit the same. Took us to the first bite to establish Curry Palace as our new regular place. Amazing deep roasty flavour on the butter chicken, good portions, good price, surprisingly good spring rolls.
It has been already a few times that I order plate for takeout and there is almost no meat at all (chicken or beef)! The meat barely covers 1/4 of the top of the plate. I strongly believe this is NOT a common practice because the same plate at the salaberry store has a decent protein portion.. I've been favoring that store for this reason, even though it is a bit further away.
I would give this place 5 stars. One of the newest locations of Restaurant Boustan. Nice clean environment with enough sitting area. I like the interior decor. Good quality was awesome as usual. Prices are slightly on the higher side. Parking should not be any issue. Would definitely recommend this place.
We bought beef/chicken mix shawarma, it was yummy, delicious and healthy. The store was clean, very welcome staff, friendly. Enough parking space outside. I definitely recommend this place for dine in and take out.

I ordered for myself and my 2 yr old son. It is our first time eating Syrian food and we loved it. We’re both sick so I wanted a homey soup and chicken and fries. Everything was very tasty. I was worried after reading the review that dine-in is better than delivery. When I opened the food and saw the quantity and quality, I knew I would be writing a good review.
The chicken shawarma platter came with so much chicken. No where else have I received that much chicken, even after paying $5+ for extra meat. It was juicy and there were big slices of chicken plus small charred typical shawarma chicken. It was juicy, tender, and plentiful. Perfect score. I asked in notes for extra pickles and got lots.
The pea soup was very good. Comes with lots of crackers and lemon.
After filling up and having lots of leftovers, I realized I hadn’t even opened the complimentary bag of bread. It was full of warm fluffy bread, enough to feed a family of 8 actually.
Maybe we got lucky on our sick day but I’m so glad I decided to try something new and get Syrian. I will be going in person soon to try some new dishes with my son.

We were visiting from the USA and tried this Middle Eastern restaurant. I can’t express how amazing the experience was at this authentic and quaint restaurant. The food was wow….from the shawarma, to the fatet hummus, fried cheese, and falafel and the fresh juices. Oh and the bread was freshly made in their wood fire oven. The presentation was on point and made you feel you were in the Middle East with all the dishes, platters and tea, coffee kettles they serve you with. It was all amazing! The service was exceptional too. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants great Mediterranean food and dessert. The kenafa was also so delicious too.
We asked for nothing spicy, they did not disclose that that potatoes have spices, which is something we could have moved on from even though my mother can't eat anything spicy. However, some of the potatoes were old, as well as the kabab we got. My mom is very shy, she ate what she could from the plate and said to not say anything, but I had just come and saw this so I took the plate back to them. She did not eat anything that went old or was spicy, and I told them as much. It is not the cheapest place to buy food from, and I told them that nothing should have been left over (I have 4 years experience working in a similar restaurant, I would know), but the staff were saying the dish is finished and I am asking for freebies and they were extremely rude. One also said she asked for it to be well done, my mom did not say anything like that when she ordered. We do not go out often, and this goes for anybody, when we go out to spend well earned money, we should be getting our money's worth. If you are shy like my mother, don't let people do that to you, get what you paid for or get a refund. Neither of which we got, nor did we want either by the way. I simply wanted to tell them that it is not okay to do that, and they were not very friendly about it which is why I am writing this review.

I ordered a bowl and was charged for guacamole, which I didn't ask for and not added to my order. I went back after 15 minutes for a refund. The woman there argued that she added it herself, even though she wasn't involved in preparing my order other than billing as I remember.She implied that I had eaten the guacamole and was now asking for a refund dishonestly.I find it frustrating that someone would make such baseless accusations with full confidence. Also it was disheartening to see her maintain a poker face even during the billing process and I totally understand that people may have bad days or tired and I don’t mind.
Thankfully, the manager stepped in and provided the refund. To the management, I'm not concerned about the extra charge/refund; my main issue is being falsely accused. I value my self-respect more than money. I am again requesting you to review the security cameras around 8:45 on July 25th to verify the situation.

We have been going to Mengrai Thai for many years. The food is always fabulous and all of the staff are great! Last night we went for Summerlicious and it was delicious. We had striped bass and green curry chicken, a variety of appetizers and for dessert sticky rice and mango cheesecake. Probably the best Thai food in Toronto!
This location has the worst staff. Not at all friendly. The lady serving me was really being racist. She talked to me really rude just bcz I’m brown skin and right in front of me she really talked to a white skin Customer. And also she knows no customer service.
Talking about the food I ordered veggie bowl and the fajita were chopped too big and thick and even not grilled properly. I prefer chipotle a lot but not this location again. It was not a good experience at all.

I’ve ordered from here several times now, was first introduced to this place from a colleague that recommended their momos. Have tried the chicken & paneer momos, mixed veg curry, and lamb curry. No disappointment!

Fantastically delicious food and such friendly service. We were welcomed so warmly, and the crispy morning glory dish (a Thai spinach) with the pumpkin soup was delicious! Cocktails were super affordable and tasty as well. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
Exceptional Service and Good quality food. A recommended place to take your friends or family. Reservation is preferred but call the restaurant and they may let you know how busy it is if online do not show any slot.

Lovely dinner at Bella Notte. Gorgeous, bright and spacious setting, with comfortable seating. Dinner was good, we order Oyster Rockefeller (not my favourite) and the Caprese Salad, which was excellent. For a main course, we had the Seafood Platter for two, a bit underwhelming for the cost, next time we will try the pasta. Overall, it was a good experience, we will be back to try someth8ng different.
I am so disappointed with the kind of service we received today at the store in Villa Madina. I am not sure why the management here keeps changing. During March and April the crew was very polite and the food quality was amazing as well. Today the chicken shawarma felt like half done and for sure not how a shawarma should be. Not sure if this was the reason for upset tummies.

Very generous portions and incredible hospitality. My first time trying Syrian food and I'm a fan. The server took his time to explain the various dishes and made recommendation on their most popular dishes. We had a table of 12 and ordered a bit of everything. The host was very generous, gave us cheese samosa on the house. If you like cheese, you'll love these.

The worst shawarma I've ever tried, I don't know if it's even safe to eat that, I don't if these guys ever heard of (food safety) the food was not fresh and the shawrma were reserved almost at the room temperature, the woman treatment was not the best and I asked her for a spoon she said we don't have spoons and she gave me a knife, how am I supposed to eat the rice in my dish with that, I just left the restaurant I ate part of the food and I hope nothing will happen to me.

Worst Freshi ive ever gone to. Rude staff. Food and greens were not fresh, unlsalted, literally the biggest waste of money. And when i mean fresh? I dont mean killing the cow in the back. I mean, Digusting, fake tasting food. Honestly the people they hired arent professional and look like kids. Which makes sense since corporations like this remind me of chipotle, McDonald's and Tim Horton's. Biased on location. Don't come here. Big L. 0/10
A stupid and failed restaurant, the food tastes like paper, there is no flavor at all! My order was a bowl of brown rice with vegetables. The order came to me, very, very dry, and the rice was not cooked well, with a sauce with artificial flavors and very, very sugary 🤢 If it is a healthy restaurant, how is the sauce like this?! Then the soup was red water with no flavor at all, with white noodles as if they were paper!!
I am so happy to see that Chipotle offers a plant-based meat option for a decent price point. I have been to high end restaurants that couldn't even pull this off, so kudos and thank you! Staff was fast & friendly! Food was so spicy & delicious.

Went in to order a shish taouk sandwich , turns out the guy was preparing the order with bare hands no gloves. Also the way he took the sandwich with his bare hands to put some chiken meat was terrible. Unprofessional and last time i put my feet there.

Top notch food and service!! We had Mengrai cater our food for our wedding reception, and everything turned out perfect! We are vegans so had a vegan menu catered, and even our non-vegan friends were so impressed with the food! Said our reception completely changed their views on vegan food for the better!! Big props to Peach, Alan and Brandon for making our event such a huge success!! :)
The portions were good the avocado was fresh and the chicken was good. The spice was good and nice.the spicy hot sauce hits the spot .got the steak slices it was to dry for me they should have some sauce or some gravy that goes with it .
Had a wonderful experience here. Came to enjoy a nice meal by myself. I got the octopus, some raw oysters, and braised beef ravioli. The octopus was cooked perfectly, the oysters were paired with classic and delicious dressings, the ravioli wasn’t jaw dropping but the sauce made up for it. For drinks I had an aperol spritz and their caramel apple martini. They use dried orange in the spritz which was disappointing as I like to muddle fresh orange in my glass, and the caramel apple martini didn’t come with apple slices at first despite the menu saying it did. I had to ask for the slices in my drink and was told they didn’t have any left at the bar and they were going to ask the kitchen for some. Why didn’t they do that in the first place instead of just giving me a drink that wasn’t complete? I got the slices in the end and the service was great otherwise.

We came here for dinner with my family of 4. The atmosphere of the restaurant was gorgeous, and the service was good. Although there was a variety in the menu, it was very mid for me. I really loved the shrimp limoncello, and the sauce was to die for. The buratta salad with bread and arugula was my next favorite following the oysters. Overall, it was pricey, but I believe the prices lie in the quality of ingredients, and you can tell. I would come back here to try other menu items .

I went there today around 5pm. The Asian girl who is working there, she sneezing and sneezing then smiling, I hope she ıs not doing that thing into meals ! ! ! ! !
Tried the veg momo manchurian. The taste was good. Loved it. Just felt gravy should be less. And yes, there is no dine in. We were standing and eating.

Salang is by far one of the best restaurants in the city across all cuisines. We come here frequently as a family and greatly appreciate the quality of food and service! The Shami Kabob plates are incredibly delicious but their are many other dishes for everyone and this restaurant is a must try! Often we are served by Nameera who goes above and beyond to ensure our dining experience is incredible. She has made the experience more enjoyable and we are always glad to see her!

If you're looking for a restaurant with big portions of delicious food, I highly recommend this place! I absolutely love it. The only thing I would suggest is that they increase the portion size of the yogurt in their meal combo, as it's currently quite small. Other than that, the food is always tasty and satisfying. Check it out if you're in the area!
Long line, slow service. Took me over 32 min to get my order and another 10 min to pay. I order the chicken plate and it was around 17 buck. Good parking, the restaurant opens late. Some of the sofa chairs are broken or torn.

My recent experience at Roman Zaman was fantastic - this was our second time at the restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service.
The starters we ordered - Hummus Beiruty, Labneh & Foul - were delicious and the perfect way to start our meal. The Kibbeh nayyeh was unique and flavorful, and we enjoyed trying something new.
For the entrees, we had the Shawarma & Arais, which were both cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The portions were generous, and we felt satisfied with our meal.
To top it off, we enjoyed an excellent knafeh for dessert, which was the perfect sweet treat to end our meal. With a piping hot cup of tea, it was the cherry on top of our fantastic dining experience.

I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. The meat was spiced really nicely. The chicken was tender and moisture. I would definitely buy this again. My only complaint...the pic in the menu showed a full chicken breast. But what was served was chicken chunks. But again, it was very delicious. The service was great. It may have been the mum taking my order, but she was very sweet. At the end, she asked me about me meal and was very genuine. I will definitely return.
Really like the consistency of Chipotle. This one is at Scarborough Town Centre in the lower food court. I ordered a steak bowl with brown rice, no beans, roasted vegetables, mild spice, corn, cheese and lettuce. So yummy. They give you a good amount of meat and the flavours are fantastic. Have not been disappointed yet with any chipotle location I have ordered from.

Absolutely incredible. My friend wanted to treat me to authentic Northern Dumplings. The usual restaurant was no longer there so by chance found Dumpling Restaurant. Had Pork and Celery dumplings, and Chives with egg dumplings, Beef with Broccoli and Shredded Fish. All was very delicious and freshly made.14 dumplings per order. Good Prices, Great Quality and Quantity. Highly recommend.
Service was excellent, the food was just okay. Had the oysters Rockefeller they were good. The carpaccio was good. The burrata was very good. The seafood platter was just okay. The beef short rib was just okay. The gnocchi were just okay. A little pricey for the quality but overall okay!!!

We came across this wonderful restaurant while dropping off our niece at a birthday party. The food is of Syrian Cuisine, and because of the way it was served, it looked very tantalizing. It made us feel like we were sitting in a restaurant somewhere in Syria. The restaurant was very clean, the ambient was very nice, and the background music was pleasant. While we were there one of the guests was celebrating a sons birthiday and the servers brought out a desert and sang a birthday song in Syrian to which a number of the other guests joined in and clapped, including children that were there. The service was excellent, and our server "Halah" was very friendly. She took the time to explain the different menu selections and recommended some things she thought we might like based on our discussions about our preferences, which included both meat and vegetarian options. The portions were a very good size, and my wife and I ended up sharing everything while still having leftover food to take home. Since our first visit, we have been back to the restaurant 2 more times, including with friends, who also enjoyed the experience. If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, we definitely recommend this place.

This is one of the few places that I would give a 5 star rating in Ottawa. If you're looking for an authentic Afghani restaurant, this is definitely a place you should go.
We have ordered take out from here a few times before and love it. The family meals are such a great value and taste amazing. We also love to support local. We dined in for the first time on Valentines evening and it was amazing. Food was fantastic and the service great. I had the Seabass from the chefs menu that evening and it was 10/10. Food is super delicious😋 I had butter chicken, butter naan & tawa roti, everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. Had tandoori momos for the 1st time in Canada & they were mouthwatering & delicious 😋

An absolutely lovely place. Very tastefully decorated. The staff are outstanding. Truly a fabulous experience. Bradley was a stupendous server. We really enjoyed chatting with him. The food, was out of this world. Our apps, mains and desserts truly were outstanding. We've found our new "goto" spot. If you haven't had a chance to try this place, do yourself a favour and give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
This restaurant is in Scarborough, but I live in Richmond Hill. Yes, it's worth the drive. The decor isn't the best, but everything is clean and food is ALWAYS great! I especially love the cold dishes.
Fresh and tastey food, good portions and reasonable price! Friendly employees. The restaurant looked under staffed at the peak on Friday night! Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic New Years Eve dinner at Bella Notte. Everyone at the restaurant were super accommodating - important for us as we had a few kids within the group. The wine list is quite expansive - great selection across the board. Kids menu is available, and the Chef has a curated menu as well. Make sure to try the appetizers - oysters are amazing. I went with the classic Pasta Bolognese - really good! Big shout out to our server Hilary - she was so kind and patient with our table. Would highly recommend and plan on going back soon!!!

The tables are pretty large. The entire restaurant is clean and organized. The staff is respectful and service is good.

We ordered a lot of brunch stuff. The chicken liver was amazing, hummus, tea, and Arabic coffee were good.
The portions are large and the prices are very fair considering the portion, service, and authenticity.

We tasted their Chicken, Falafel, Beef Rokboxes at the STC location during the national shawarma day. My fav was the Chicken flavor which was tender and flavourful. Falafel was crispy, well-seasoned! If you are planning to enjoy them at the STC area make sure to reserve a spot first and also add their special sauces. The servers are prompt. Avg meal cost $10.
First found this restaurant on a whim last month and it was so good we ended up coming back for more. The dumplings are all excellent, on the first visit I had the pan fried pork and chive dumpling as well as the pork potstickers. The potstickers are a must have! My dad and sister got the noodles which were noticeably hand pulled and absolutely delicious. On our second round, I had got the beef pancake recommended in other reviews and the pork and chive potstickers which were both so flavourful. Highly recommend coming to this place but get in early, it fills up quickly.
We got their Chicken, Falafel, Beef Rokboxes. Chicken was tender, juicy, Beef was crisped up nicely, flavourful and, Falafel was crispy, well-seasoned! All the Protein were served on a bed of Rice, topped with Pickles, Pickled Radish, and their signature Garlic Sauce, gosh it was amazing!
The soup and green onion pancake was amazing! However my family and I got MILD FOOD POISONING after eating the slightly undercooked chicken dumplings. They tasted fine but we got sick later that evening.
Would recommend other dishes aside from the dumplings, ironic that it’s called Dumpling Restaurant and would ask for well cooked chicken instead.

We found this place while looking for a wholesome option for lunch. We were not disappointed. Thr portions were generous. We ordered a large but struggled to finish it. It was loaded with chicken and veggies. Service was quick. The shawarma sandwich could have used more garlic sauce but we were provided extra at no additional charge.
Tasty food and not too spicy. Great service . The eggplant khurma is amazing. Fresh naan bread and great super moist lamb shank. Butter chicken was great too
Food made with love. Very delicious food and very friendly service. The staff were very amazing. You can feel that every meal was cooked with so much love and passion, the meat is so succulent, spices are so rich & portion sizes are generous ( Qabuli lamb shank is a must try )

The owner of this place is great, and the food is the best Indian food I've had in Ottawa by far. I rave about their food every chance I get. For some reason, there was a mix-up about them discontinuing their indo-chinese menu, and even though their Momos are our favourite, we thought we'd give it another shot for the rest of the menu. Happy to say the legendary momos are still around, and the rest of the menu is also better than most other Indian restaurants.
We can always count on having a great meal at the Dumpling Restaurant. Our dinner this evening was no exception, the steamed dumplings, the fried dumplings, the beef wrap and the fried onion cake were great. Service was quick, food was all piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We ordered 'Trio Mix' wraps, they were exactly what you'd expect: delicious! It's a relatively clean and Air conditioned place with lots of seating. I would recommend this for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner 👍
Good place to catch-up with old friends. The food is fresh and portions are fair. The service was really great! We asked for leftovers to be packed and they did so quite elegantly.
Great Scarborough hidden gem! I’ve been here a few times for takeout and the food is delicious and always fresh. Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had, and it takes me 20 mins to drive home and they are still amazing, they travel well. The potstickers are so good they have so much filing in them, very generous portions. The braised eggplant with pork is great, the sauce is not too sweet or thick like most other places, it’s tangy with a great consistency, good to eat alone or with rice.
**Now let me tell you…** if you have not tried their fried sweet potato dish you haven’t truly lived. It’s a great dessert I get it every time, crunchy sweet and salty candied sweet potatoes, they are addictive!!!

We had our lunch from chipotle, we ordered chicken and veg bowl. Both were rich with ingredients including tomato, peas rice, lettuce, cheese, chicken and jalapeños. It really was worth for money. Bottle water was way too expensive. Customer care was excellent. And waiting time on an average 15-20mnts.
Came here on a whim and tried their Mantu- it was amazing. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and polite and the food was worth the wait.

Amazing, juicy meat with tangy sauce - I found where all the locals go! It’s very busy here with locals. The flavour profile has a lot of depth, the meat was tender too. I don’t eat middle eastern food a lot besides shawarma so this is my go to now.
Family platter was very good- I did takeout and they have parking too.
Eggplant korma was so good, loved the bread.

Can it be a bit more professional? Lettuce handing around outside the container. Also,I ask for no sauce or less sauce from those bean and tomatoes but look at the pic from my food( it seems so little from pic but there is a lot in the real food). Lastly, chicken is super super salty !!

Delicious Afghani food for a reasonable price. Really nice that they go the extra mile with the giant fresh piece of bread and the homemade lentil soup. Sitting area is also clean, fresh and modern.
I like to go to Freshii but this location is not one I would go back to soon. I customized a bowl, but the rice was hard (undercooked), the chicken portion was very minimal and they gave me mushrooms instead of tomatoes (without informing me. Found out later so couldn't go back).
Quite reasonably priced for being in the downtown core. One of the few places you can get a healthy meal and good portions.
