Best Transit stops in Canada

Train ride was fine, but the fact that it advertises that there are washrooms here only to arrive and the station isn't open on weekends is ridiculous. Had to walk very quickly to the Tim's nearby. Trying to save money by cutting station attendants is not the way; had this been a true emergency, a cleaning crew would have been needed.

The station is fine but my question is why is the building always locked despite the hours stating it’s open? It’s never open to be able to use the washrooms or get out of the cold. 👎🏻

The station is almost always closed and there’s no access to the washrooms. No options to buy hot drinks/food and the seating is very limited. Around the whole world I haven’t seen a train station more sad looking than this one.

The woman who helped us after we missed our train was amazingly kind and helpful. If only all train station attendants were like her, the world would be a better place.

It is neat and clean bus station in the city. Easily accessible for passengers and we can find the parking easily here. Handicap parking is available here too. It’s not busy station we can easily find the place for standing and sitting. We can easily get the tickets from the ticket situated at the station . Go trains are available at the station and we can get the train very easily by tracking the train’s location from the phone.

Go transit gold star.

Province is under heat warning and the station has NO shad or shelters to protect passengers waiting in the blistering sun for their busses or trains.
Proceeds to kick everybody out of the station because they can be bothered to have it open more than one hour a day.

Why are you wasting tax money to build facites that you then refuse to staff and provide access too. Both in general but also during inclimate weather to protect the health of your passengers

I guess if it's not some disease or cause you can tote and pretend to be supportive of it doesn't ACCTUALLY matter to.

Worst website on earth. I can only imagine the stress for an elderly person or someone who doesn't quite know their way around a computer. Far from user friendly.

On top of that headache, you get to Barrie South GO station and there aren't any people there to help you. Literally - doors are locked! Makes you want to do everything EXCEPT take the GO.

UPDATE! They fixed/changed the website - it's so much better now! I added a couple of stars but can't give 5 as there still aren't any human beings present to help anyone!

Overall it’s a neat, well lit station with Presto load and tap machines. There is bicycle parking & heated rooms.

Ample car park space. Timed services to Toronto with limited number of stops is available, which is a huge convenience. Overall the place needs work in terms of sophistication but current maintenance is adequate for usual travel.

Transport to and from Barrie Go, in Barrie Transit is free of Cost if you use Presto for travel.

Local Transportation/Go Bus, from and to - Barrie South Go is available around train timings.

There is a Tim Hortons at a walkable distance as well.

Very Busy Intersection with major Heritage Buildings. The Hudson Bay, Toronto Old City Hall, New City Hall, Eaton Centre.

Fascinating intersection. Watch for traffic.

This is a good place to exit the streetcar and have a look around
