We came after the Toronto marathon to get some hot beverages. Staff is super nice and welcoming. Great hot chocolate and chai tea. I recommend :)

Their gelato is delicious.
Specifically, the texture of Tiramisu gelato was almost like an actual Italian Gelato (8/10).
I tried also Ferrero Gelato and it was like 7/10; could be better.

the service was a bit meh. Had to practically beg for an extra taste! The strawberry cheesecake scoop was a letdown though – more like jam than cheesecake, way too sweet for my liking. But man, that Ferrero scoop? Absolute perfection! 😍 Totally saved the trip

This is our go-to gelato shop. It serves house-made gelato with traditional flavours (tiramisu, pistachio, etc), but also flavours that would be familiar to the East Asian palette (Yuzu Cheesecake, Taro, Matcha, Asian Pear, etc). So if you like gelato, and also like East Asian (e.g. Korean) influenced desserts, you will likely enjoy the gelato here.

For first timers, we recommend Yuzu Cheesecake.

Note many flavours are seasonal, and may not always be available.

Also note this shop is usually still open during winter. Though, they may make smaller batches with less flavours.

love love love the service here. best place to go with your family and friends— everyone is always satisfied :) plus, they always play good music, so the wait flies by. ive been here a couple times, but today brought in two family members to try it for the first time. the kind man working today was so helpful and patient helping them pick their orders, providing recommendations along the way. his little gestures made our day. and of course, most importantly, the waffles and smoothies are absolutely delicious!!!! 10/10 experiences all around ❤️

I came to buy my girlfriend a box of chocolates for her birthday. The cashier at the time was having a lengthy conversation with a customer and kept glancing at me clearly recognizing that I was in line to order their conversation went on and on I didn’t want to interrupt and look like a bad guy so I just left.

Love that they offer small tubs and one can choose different flavours. Excellent quality. This is 100% real gelato --same texture as in artisanal gelaterias in Rome. Excellent use of innovative ingredients for unique flavours. Some are dairy and gluten free.

I ordered the Mini Meal for $25, which I did not find was that mini! First out were 2 garlic knots which were heavenly goodness of fresh, fluffy, garlicky dough that I dipped in nicely contrasting ranch dip. The main dish was "thick crust" single pizza of Superfunghi. The "thick crust" was not what I was expecting. It tasted more like toppings on focaccia bread. The herbed potato cream on the pizza didn't really work for me as it made the rest of the pizza, especially the arugula, soggy. I ended up asking for some olive oil to dip the pizza in (which I was not informed in advance would be $0.50 extra until it showed up on the bill at the end). For dessert, there were 4 flavours of ice cream to chose from. Overall, I really enjoyed the raspberry cheesecake that I picked. It was a little sweeter and the raspberry flavour was not as natural as I would like, but the shortbread in the ice cream was a nice twist. The cookie that came with the ice cream was a bit frozen, but I did not mind it as I was so full from the rest of the meal and had to take the cookie to go.

I recently visited XO Gelato and was thoroughly impressed by the delicious offerings and warm ambiance. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of an array of tantalizing ice cream flavors.

The ice cream at this cafe surpassed my expectations in both taste and texture. Each scoop was bursting with flavor, and the creamy consistency was simply divine. With a variety of classic and unique flavors to choose from, there's something to satisfy every craving.

In addition to the exceptional ice cream, I also had the pleasure of trying their coffee, and I must say, it was outstanding. The rich, robust flavor and smooth finish made it the perfect accompaniment to my sweet treat.

Classic tiramisu, delightful texure and taste, although I would have liked it more, if the coffee taste was richer. But still so good. The portion size was exactly what I expected, not a small one, and I enjoyed every single bite.

When I went in I asked for a mango milk tea as it is shown as available on their Uber eats menu. The girl said they didn’t have it so I had to get a regular Hong Kong milk tea. My boyfriend ordered a chocolate milk tea and was not able to get that either because they weren’t serving it. Then it took an extra 12 minutes to make the drinks. When we got the drinks they tasted awful and the tapioca was not properly cooked. And there was no ice when I ordered light ice.

I went here with a vegan friend for lunch. I am not a vegetarian and really wasn't expecting much. I was so happy I went here! I tried a vegan pizza and I was blown away by how delicious it was. I don't know how they got vegan cheese, but man, it was amazing.

We had an ice cream sandwich for dessert and that was also worth it
The server was prompt and courteous. He also patiently asked for something.

Really cute place with ample seating and a lot of flavors to choose from! Went here after lunch and it was not too busy. There were so many options to choose from. The gelato was very tasty, I got the mint chocolate small size. The place was kept clean and the cashier was friendly.

It's my to go Gelato location nearby downtown area, I would say it's paradise of Gelato!!

They have many flavours of Gelato and i will recommend to choose two flavours as many of them are so good!

Lining up is a must but the staffs acts so fast and very friendly, they will recommend you the signature.

There is some outdoors seats for the customers and there is little car parking as well. The ambiance is chill and it is very suitable for summer time~

We were looking for bubble tea after lunch but we found this Brown Sugar bubble waffle. We both want to try this and it looks so yummy.

The waffle was made after we ordered and it was hot. When we have the ice cream with waffle, it feels so amazing! The layers are good with the tapioca as well.

The service is great and the staff do the order so quickly, we do not need to wait so long!

The ambiance is great and the place is clean.

Pleasant staff and great waterfront view. Perfect place for summer but also cozy and not so busy winter Saturdays. Their cornbread is good.

Came by for a treat after dinner and was not disappointed! They have a ton of flavours and options for those with dietary restrictions. I ended up ordering an affogato with Crème Caramel gelato and it was delicious. The espresso balanced the gelato well and made it an overall not too sweet dessert.

The vibes and the treats here were absolutely delicious. They also offer savoury treats like chicken and waffles, too! It also felt like a mini rave in here with the music they were playing. Fairly priced items and a perfect dessert to have after lunch/dinner. Not a big store and only have a small bench where you can sit but it’s no big deal. Will definitely be visiting Golden Bubbles again soon and cannot wait to try their other flavours!

I had lotus biscoff cookies gelato but it was difficult to choose from so many good flavours i had even tried few flavours such as hazelnut, cookies & cream, caramel i love all these flavours and will definitely go their again to try and get more ice creams

Today was my first time I visit the store, the store itself is cute and cozy the staff were super nice and friendly.
But I didnt like that there were no prices listed on athe board, I ordered 3 single joy ice cream which should be $15.84 with tax but I somehow ended up paying $20 🤔.

Tried both the Soft Serve and Single Scoop. Had to throw them both in the garbage after 2 bites. Pricing is also not in line with the website 3.99 for small soft serve and 5.25 for a single scoop.

Not saying that Pizza and Baking skills are related to ice cream making but the adjacent stores seem to be under the same management.

I have bought cake for delivery from Sweet Something Vancouver for years and ordered the same cake from them six times. However, after my experience on December 12th with the owner Donna while trying to sort out delays with the delivery of a cake someone had gifted me, I’d honestly go as far as learning to make the cake myself before I ever give them my money again.

My partner ordered a cake for me from Sweet Something Vancouver on December 12th despite being allergic to eggs. It was a surprise gift to lift my mood after dealing with some trauma. However, Donna was so rude, dismissive and condescending that I ended up in tears while she continued to go on saying the issues with the delivery were my fault even though I went outside to meet the delivery driver as soon as I was told he was there.

The procedure that whoever processed the order followed was different than usual. Usually, they call the person who ordered in advance then send an Uber tracking link to whoever will be receiving the order and the delivery person buzzes upon arrival. They were given my number but never contacted me prior to the driver's arrival - Donna insisted that they did and that I was being untruthful, unwilling to consider that it was my partner who they might have contacted, and even though she herself told me it was a gift after the reason she gave for calling was met with confusion.

The driver initially called me at 4:52pm but I was away from my phone. My partner was on the phone with the driver for several minutes trying to get him to use the buzzer before I saw his missed calls. I called back twice at 4:58pm and 5:00pm but he would pick up and say nothing. I went downstairs at 5:00pm immediately my partner asked me to and there was no one in front of my building in a car or otherwise. I didn’t know about anything going on until my partner told me to go outside to pick up an order. They said the driver seemed confused and refused to buzz like the instructions stated, suggesting to my partner that there was no buzzer at the address he was given. Donna called at 5:09pm. I didn’t even know a cake was being delivered until Donna called using her personal number and stated the name of the business.

Donna told my partner that my name was on the bag alongside both of our numbers, so I assume the driver thought it was all one person or that one of us was from the store - the language barrier and everyone hopping between calls also made things challenging. Everyone involved was confused, and that was ultimately because they didn't follow the order instructions where my partner specified that they should contact me to sort out delivery details, so it seemed Donna and the driver kept mistaking me for my partner. By the time we convinced the driver to just return the cake since he was being enigmatic and couldn't confirm what address he was given for delivery, he said he was in Surrey on his way home and it was 5:30pm. Based on what she texted my partner to say later at past 10pm on the same day, the driver himself told her that the delivery address he was given "did not exist" when he eventually returned the cake.

All of this could have been rectifiable and I would have been accommodating if Donna had been kind and had any customer service competency. However, during the call earlier, Donna blamed me for the issues with the delivery. She was belittling and interrupting me during our phone calls. She said things like “I’ve already paid for delivery once and it’s not my fault that you think everyone is out to get you and you can’t just pick up a phone call” when tried to explain the situation further because I had mentioned that I missed his initial phone calls and didn't call back earlier because I thought it was spam. She seemed to think I was her child and not a customer, so I will not be supporting her business going forward.

Please also note that my partner has not been issued a refund or received proper response to the follow-up email we sent five days ago.

We went for brunch and drinks this morning and it did not disappoint!!! Our server was super friendly and had a great vibe. We ordered waffles but received pancakes (we were not mad about it at all) but she comped one of our drinks which wasn’t necessary but a very nice gesture. The atmosphere in here is AWESOME. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch/dinner menu. Also very reasonably priced for a restaurant on the water!

We recently purchased the English Toffee for Christmas, but that didn't even last one night in our household. The English Toffee is to die for. I like that it had the right balance between the sweetness of the toffee and the crushed almonds on the surface. I would definitely buy again...even during off season!

Always wanted to try this place since I have heard a lot about it, and the hype is all true. Their gelatos are amazing, my personal favourite is the hazelnut one. It’s always busy during the summer, also they close up late which is an added advantage as you can grab one during your night stroll.

This place RULES! I’ve been here twice with separate groups of people. I loved the drinks and the food was sooo good. I usually like burrito bowls and this one did not disappoint and the cornbread was top tier with the butter. Came here twice before two of the best concerts of my life so this place is now a pre-concert ritual.

Wanted Congratulations Ron! on cake, but given hard upsell to add decorations. Was quoted $60 … no that was just for the decorations. Total was $150. For a 6 inch cake. Okay.. I figured worth an artisan’s time. I even gave a tip upfront.

For top of cake we settled on a book, glasses and an apple… expecting somewhat proportional and artistic display.

Artisan no. Instead I got a machine generated set of randomly placed objects that were out of proportion to one another, and some very badly hand crafted “eyeglasses” (no one knew what they were & they were smudged). WTTF.

I asked where’s the Congratulations Ron! ? Oh it didn’t fit, they said. So they put the premade letters on the cardboard the cake sat on. Again WTTF.

Does the owner have no shame? I try to support local and felt scammed. This is not how you treat your neighbours. So short sighted too, as our community is small.

First of all the hostess was a wonderful lady that genuinely liked her job. Our waitress was nice and friendly.
I ordered a chicken sandwich, it was delicious and my sweet potato fries were very tasty.
We sat outside in the patio with a beautiful view.

Our first visit was amazing. Great service, awesome staff. Food was dreamy. My wife and I will definitely be back, even if we have to make the 4hr round trip just to have the garlic focaccia and a few pies. Yum!!

Very good specialty Waffles. They had rich flavour. If you're in the SkyCity Shopping centre, give this place a try. But there is no Dine in. You have to take out.

Popped into Killarney Outfitters because we saw the ice cream sign. They had 8 different flavors of ice cream and 3 options to enjoy your ice cream (waffle cone, regular cone, or cup). We tried the chocolate and french vanilla in a waffle cone and cotton candy and vanilla in a cup. The chocolate ice cream by far was our favorite. It was authentic and delicious! The staff is also super nice.

Was very impressed with the quantity and quality of the waffle ice cream. Flavours were intense and creamy. My son is an ice cream fanatic and he said this was on his top three list. That speaks volumes.!!!
Will visit again !

Small shops and have a few seats in the front. Staffs are helpful and friendly. We ordered the original bubble waffle with ice cream. Bubble waffle are freshly made and fluffy, not too sweet. Price is on the high side but totally worth it.

This place is Amazing! Best staff, friendly, courteous. Great vegan food. We ate here twice during our visit to Victoria. Would 100% recommend, especially the dessert!

This is definitely the best vegan pizza place I have tried in town. I’ve had most pizza flavours and really enjoyed all but a few. They also do great cinnamon knots and ice cream. Wasn’t big on the Mac & cheese, found it lacking flavour and cheese. Overall a great place to eat in/take out if you’re wanting vegan pizza. Definitely will try the pasta soon as well!

Each time we go its always busy, so try to make reservations. Without reservations there is a bit of a wait but not extreme. Even while they are busy, the servers are always pleasant and quick to help. The chicken wings I always love....the fried chicken not so much. Overall nice place to have drinks and vibe.

Best vegan pizza place! We drank the zero proof chaser and ginger soda, both were refreshing. The mushroom pizza was top but we absolutely loved sgt pepperoni! This pizza was slightly spicy and the "pepperoni" was really yummy. The regular crust was thin and crispy. This restaurant is located right next to Fan Tan, great service and a well lit, pleasant place. We also got their vegan ice cream, honestly we could not tell that the raspberry cheesecake was dairy free! It is reasonably priced and a great place even if you are not vegetarian or vegan if you want to try something new!

I was looking for ice cream at a different shop in the same place but their machine was out of service. I stumbled upon this shop and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The coconut ice cream with Taro bubble waffle was amazing. Service was quick. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Great experience at Joe Bird. Gorgeous view of the water right on the Harbour front. The food was very good for the price. Eggs were a bit undercooked, but this was the only thing I could have improved. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we were escorted to a nice table in the shade. Wait times were low and we got our food very quickly. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Gluten friendly options were available on their brunch menu for sure. :)

Came here with my boyfriend who’s a meat eater. Both enjoyed our pizzas and non-alcoholic drinks. The ice cream sandwich is a must for a cool treat on hot summers day. Highly recommend the patio if weather is nice, no view but its very quaint

Rented canoes here through Killarney Provincial Park - the canoes were stored in the provincial park premises, but we just had to drive here to get the keys to unlock the canoe, get paddles, and bail kit. The canoes are good quality and everything went smoothly. The store contains a large variety of camping gear. Note that a lot of it is quite expensive compared to other retailers, but it is good for convenience I suppose. Make sure to try the ice cream as well, it was pretty good!

What a fun spot! They have all your outdoor gear needs. They have a canoe filled with spices you can grab a couple for your paddling trip.

Way overpriced, the cake lacked flavor and the texture of it was just odd. Got a mini egg cake and the only mini egg to it was about 8 mini eggs on the top. It’s not often that I meet a cake not worth eating but this one is not. Changing from one star to two as they did refund us but I can’t give a good review as we didn’t get another edible cake from them.

Great spot for kayak and canoe rentals. Tons of gear available to purchase. Ted always come through with advice on routes in the area and helping plan a great trip.

Went to rent canoes from here for Killarney Provincial Park. Came here for the key and the vests, paddles, etc. The canoes are right at the main beach of George Lake.

The store is full of camping gear and essential groceries. We loved the picnic tables and flowers outside. You may pick from their herbs outside with plastic bags provided. It was very neat.

The lady explained to us how the rental works and was really helpful. Rentals are per calendar day, and we dropped off our gear and key after hours. A man was still there and helped us buy some ice even when the store was already closed. I was truly grateful.

Overall, the rental went smoothly, and they went above and beyond for us, so they deserve 5 stars.

We tried a red velvet cake. There was absolutely no flavors in it and it was just color, our teeth turned red afterwards! even the cream on the cake was just simple sugar.
The coffee was not good either and was too expensive.
I truly regret the money we spent there.

My daughter and two grandsons and myself did a three day two night Philip Edward Island kayaking trip last week. Killarney Mountain Outfitters did a spectacular job outfitting us with everything required and then some. The meals were excellent and the campsite recommended on West Desjardins Bay was spectacular. I highly recommend their services!

Unique and yummy flavors. Coconut Cream, Bronte Sicilian Pistachio taste incredibly delicious. Good portions and reasonable pricing.

Nicest people we met in Killarney. They accomodate your needs and inquiry. The guy who handle the life vest and paddle is very Friendly and so with the lady from Brampton who works there who never left the area since March.

Manager was the nicest person, wanted to have me try every flavour until I knew exactly what I wanted, and then made me this amazing dessert!

Beautiful day to be on the patio for brunch. It has a gorgeous view of the Toronto harbour. Great for people watching and to take a break from the Harbourfront crowds on a holiday. The food was decent as well, pretty good for a touristy location. Had the ricotta eggs which sounded strange but was actually pretty light. The acidity of the grape tomatoes really balanced out the creamy ricotta and other cheese. The signature Joe Bird sandwich was crispy and yummy. The Belgian waffles were heavy and loaded with berries and sugar walnuts. Food + atmosphere + view = A+.

Myself and my BFF were looking for an ice cream spot after lunch, stumbled on Golden Bubbles and was not disappointed! Their Strawberry Dream Ice Cream Waffle is utter perfection. Loved that it wasn't artificial flavors at all. The quality of the desserts and customer service is excellent. Super glad we found this place. I hope to come back again soon.

I was so excited to try this place and had very high expectations. If you’re going with a group of more than 2 people I suggest that you do not get milkshakes. We made this mistake without knowing they only have 1 mini blender that they use for all milkshakes. We arrived at the shop at 8:50pm and did not leave until 9:37pm. Close to 50 minutes for 5 milkshakes and an order of mini pancakes. The milkshakes were actually very good however they were out of lids and many other things this night. This was my friends order of mini pancakes…. It took about 15 minutes for this and you guys can be the judge. These look like burnt flour tortillas and tasted even worst. Pancakes are fluffy and soft these were extra thin and crunchy. Overall very unimpressed for our first visit☹️ We will try again soon and hopefully our review will change.

2 nights ago I broke into the shop cause I was ordered to do so and stole a box of 6 cupckaes. Over all the servic was nice. The old addage: serve yourself.

I also wantes to add that as a proff it was me: all the tiles were f in the bathub.

We went as a group of 4, all trying 2 different flavours. The gelato was not authentic, with poor texture that broke off in pieces, rather than uniform smooth texture. They offered around 6-8 vegan options, but limited to fruit flavours. The small size was $6, with two scoops/flavour options and generous portions. They had a few tables available outside on their patio. Good customer service, but will not be returning due to the poor quality.

I visited XO Gelato three times when I stayed in the Mount Pleasant village May 11 to 13 . I tried 8 different flavors, and they were all delicious.

It was my first visit here and I ordered a slice of brownie that costed me $8.50 which is absolutely not worth it. Talking about portion, it wasn't enough I think.
The staff was really nice and polite.
Wouldn't recommend the brownie. Looks pretty good, the chocolate on top was nice. Overall not really bad yet still not satisfactory.

the owner makes the ice cream himself and has the most interesting flavours (like chocolate chili, delicious with a kick). the fruit flavours were probably our favourite. the grapefruit particularly was outstanding and a flavour explosion! i also really enjoyed the pistachio, extremely creamy. definitely coming back to try more flavours.

I was sad - First Purdy's stopped making my Nougatine's and now they are not going to make Snowball's - Not many chocolates that I like but those were the two I received from people on special occasions - staff med the box special just with them. - Sad Sad

In my opinion, Gelato is the best place to have an ice cream in North york area. The staff were friendly. Tried Ferrero which was incredibly delicious. They also offer vegan and dairy free ice cream and its all homemade.

A great addition to the willowdale area! Tried this spot a couple months back and can honestly say, it’s right up there with all the big gelato players!

Gelato is made in house and with high qualitative ingredients. How do you know? When it starts to melt almost immediately being out of the freezer. This shows there’s no additives in keeping it to maintain shape.

I find without this, yes you have to eat it a little faster, but it just tastes so much better! If you want something g more firm, would just say ice cream is your friend!

Had the key lime and friend had the pistachio and both were just so amazingly flavoured! The key lime had a nice bit of tartness but still get that hot of sweetness!

I was told the pistachio was very good! Nice pistachio flavour and taste!

Person behind the counter was super friendly and patient with us as we had difficulties deciding what flavour to get!

They also have small and large cups of ice cream ready to go to take home or your next get together!

They have a good selection of gelato flavors with some more unique than others. I enjoyed my gelato: hazelnut and chili chocolate which was indeed spicy but had good balance of flavors

We ordered the rainbow salted caramel cake for my daughter birthday. It was quite heavy and sweet. You could get it within the same day. It is also not pricy. The front girl was so nice to help us ordering the cake.

Emma from Sweet Something bakery is so talented I was blown away! She made an incredibly beautiful birthday cake for my son's 25th Birthday and it was not only the most gorgeous cake but it was so delicious!!! Been coming here since 07 and there’s good reason for that. First off all the gelato is excellent period. The “savory” selection is really good. The chocolate, the simple staple take you to the next level of chocolate. But the real show stoppers here are the fruit flavors. Some cream based, some iced based, they are just out of the world and done better then most. Current favorites include lime mint, passion fruit and grapefruit. When fruit is in peak season, expect multiple seasonal flavors to be on the menu. Keep it up!

Delicious and such a great price! I went during happy hour several times! Happy hour is from 2-5 Monday to Friday I believe. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is fun. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Not pictured here is the delicious Lavender Chamomile lemonade!

Drove over an hour to get here to try the Japanese souflee pancakes (which I had fallen in love with in Japan). Pancakes were okay, but not what I was hoping for. My lemonade was so sour I couldn’t finish it. It allows you to make reservations online, but there are only about 15 seats inside, some of which require you to crawl over an old radiator to access. We saw others walk in and try to sit down only to be kicked off the table because they aren’t really managing their combined reservations/walk-in coffee shop combo very well. We had a party of 3, one of with mobility issues. We were told there was no public washroom (in a restaurant? I’m pretty confident that’s not even allowed), and so we were forced to have to urgently rush a member of our party across the street to the shoppers drug mart to find a washroom, causing 2/3 of us to have cold breakfast. All in all, wouldn’t come here again. On the plus side, employees were trying their best to make due and provide quality service. However it was confusing where they were serving and where we were suppose to help ourselves (for example: they took our order at the table, but when we asked for milk for coffee they pointed to a stand in the corner so we could do get it ourselves). In need of more space and a clearer identity.

Nice store. Been in Willowbrook forever. The staff are often helpful, but not always. Some of the long-time employees don't seem to happy working there anymore and can give a bit of attitude. The prices can also be a bit high. In general, I'd recommend this place for decadent chocolates. Just prepare to open your wallet.

The staff are so genuine and truly look like they just love their jobs, I know I would ;) A very broad selection and of course helpful staff.
