Ich habe über Jahre immer gern dort gegessen und war nun nach langer Zeit mal wieder in Hannover und bin mit Vorfreude wieder zum Sushiland. Offensichtlich hat der Besitzer gewechselt. Den älteren Herrn, der das Sushi zubereitet hat, erkannte ich vom Gesicht her wieder. Die ältere Dame, die bedient hat, empfing uns mit einer warmen und herzlichen Art. Dafür gibt es volle Punktzahl. Leider war jedoch das Sushi eine Enttäuschung. Ich habe wie damals M11 gewählt, die ich immer gern gegessen habe. Die Karte war auch noch die gleiche, die Abbildung der Gerichte ebenfalls. Ich freute mich also auf meine gewohnte Zusammenstellung, die zwischenzeitlich jedoch preislich um einiges gestiegen ist. Was serviert wurde, war jedoch nicht die abgebildete M11, sondern lediglich unterschiedliches Sushi mit Lachs und Avocado. Die Platte hatte jedoch nicht annähernd etwas mit M11 zu tun. Aufgrund der Sprachbarriere verzichteten wir jedoch darauf, das Gericht zurückgehen zu lassen.
Auch qualitativ konnte das Sushi nicht mit der gewohnten Qualität mithalten - da ist so manches Supermarktsushi deutlich besser.

Der mit Abstand beste Döner in ganz Halle und darüber hinaus. Ich komme alle paar Monate extra aus Berlin nach Halle um hier einen Dönerteller zu essen.
Zu jeder Tags- und Nachtzeit ist alles frisch und saftig. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Portionen sind sehr groß!

haben uns beim vorbeilaufen nen paar Döner geholt. Es sind große Portionen und es schmeckt echt gut.
Der Dönermann ist nicht sehr gesprächig und Platz ist irgendwie kaum vorhanden..

In our quest, on a whirlwind trip to Hamburg, to eat authentic vegetaran versions of German food we came across Heisse Ecke Grill in the super-busy Reeperbahn / St. Pauli area. It's a Bratwurst place and they have a DELICIOUS vegan Bratwurst served with your choice of sauce and potatoes (Steak, Curly or Swet Potato)! It was really delcious fast food. You order at one window, are given a beeper of sorts, and when it "goes off" you pick up your food at another spot.
There is plenty of room to sit (albeit it's mostly outside with lots of people smoking so that's a little unpleasant.)
The person who took our order was super-friendly and the menu has English "subtitles" so it was easy for us non-German speaking visitors to get what we wanted.
There is a full drinks menu with beers, cocktails, wine and juices, including lemonade too. My kid got a "Virgin Spritz Passion Fruit Basil" cocktail - non-alcoholic which he really enjoyed, especially after watching me drink a "real" Apérol Spritz earlier in the day.
The vegan bratwurst was really good and pared well with the potatoes, served altogether in a little box with a tiny fork. It felt like a perfect and authentic German food experience, and it really was yummy.

Meine Freunde und ich sind amerikanische Austauschstudenten hier in Deutschland und sprechen noch nicht viel Deutsch. Die beiden Männer, die uns halfen, waren so nett und erklärten uns sogar die Namen verschiedener Zutaten auf Deutsch. Der Döner war köstlich und alle waren unglaublich nett. Ich werde auf jeden Fall eines Tages wieder hierher kommen!

DELICIOUS!!! The best curry wurst I have had since I was in Berlin last year. Not only was the wurst delicious, the service was so kind and friendly PLUS they take credit cards/Apple Pay. I also like that they'll adjust how spicy (or not) you'd like your wurst.
Excellent Japanese soup with prawns, great quality at a reasonable price. Also a large selection of sushi, also at attractive prices, which I didn't get to try, unfortunately. Have to come back!

Zum mitnehmen ist es wirklich ok. Habe nur eine Margarita bestellt, aber war gut. Nur kann ich dem Inhaber mal nahelegen, den Laden mal auf Vordermann bringen. Mal putzen, paar neue Mädels, Bilder und schon sieht es da besser aus

I don't recommend this restaurant, the food is super good, but one of the employees treat me in a bad and sarcasm way.
Döner sehr lecker und für den Preis heutzutage unschlagbar. Aber die Mitarbeiter sind einfach nur Klasse. Man fühlt sich dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Gerne immer wieder.

Waiting time was insane. Food was fine, but the coke I took alongside with it was odd and gave me puking sensations. Deffo room for improvement, as atmosphere was also weak. Kind staff though.

I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but my experience at this place compelled me to share my thoughts. The pricing is fantastic for the quality of food they offer, and the staff truly stood out with their friendliness. Despite my lack of German-speaking skills, they made a genuine effort to communicate with me, always accompanied by warm smiles.
The only downside is that I wish they had more business days. Such a great establishment deserves to thrive every day of the week. As one of the staff members charmingly put it, "first you eat, then you pay." This catchphrase adds a unique touch to the overall experience. Overall, a delightful dining experience that I would highly recommend to others.

The food is unbelievably good here. The prices on the menu are either not the current prices or we got scammed, it was worth it though!

Ich weiß garnicht wo ich anfangen soll die guten alten Tiefkühlnuggets waren verbrannt der Jumbo Döner war einfach ein normaler Döner und ein normaler Döner war einfach ein Mini Döner über das küneffe will ich eigentlich garnicht reden 0 süß einfach nur trocken !!! Dafür 36€ bezahlt ? Der Laden sollte geschlossen werden einfach nur wiederlich nie wieder bestellt da bloß nicht !!!! Leider muss ich ein Stern geben aber am besten wäre Garkeins!!

Excellent curryworst. With pommes. The staff are so friendly it makes a difference. You can sit out and enjoy the weather. He made it extra spicy for me, and I enjoyed it.
I ate a Curry Wurst there today. While the fries and the sausage were ok, the sauce (and that is what makes the difference, isn‘t it) was horrific. More like a cheap pasta sauce topped with curry powder. Never again.

One of the best Currywurst you'll find in Hamburg. The "pommes" with Mayo are crispy and full of flavor and go very well with the currywurst. Sauce might be a little bit to sweet but nevertheless, amazing taste and attention.

Many iconic places come with infamously bad service attitude. Welcome to IMBISS BEI SCHORSCH ( Georg’e Snack Shack). I love how tiny this place is and how genuinely rude the service can be. It is a throw back in time. You can have a variety is sausages , a skewer and potato salad and of course French Fries. Of course served with beer. But the retro charm and crabby service is not all! Which snack shack has two patents to their name? Well, this place has- for its famous tomato 🍅 sauce ( see certificates from the German Patent Office).
I would say, this is a must stop when you go out in St. Pauli or the trendy Schanzenviertel.
Oh, and PLEASE check all dietary restrictions at the door and leave those vegan fantasies at home. This place is as meaty and greasy as it can get.

They use fresh ingredients. It is classic but delicious. It might take more than 15 minutes to serve but it is worth the wait. The price is reasonable and the staffs are friendly. Big fried roll costs 13.50 Euro and it is delicious.

Then he went on saying "you had Pommes with it, right?" ... That moment I knew he wanted to scam, as he added another portion of Pommes to it.

Food is really good! I would have given an extra star if the food would have been served with a smile! The persons handling the cash counter could be more sensible in their behaviour !

Often, sushi found in places like market halls tend to be on the cheap and low quality side. I tried it here due to the great reviews, and I found it very fresh and good, and at a reasonable price; so I can recommend this place.

Es wird frisch vor deinen Augen zu bereitet- zu jedem Sushi Menü gibt es eine Vorsuppe. Ich hatte eine japanische Suppe & Hähnchen Spieße, es war wirklich sehr sehr lecker! Preis- Leistung stimmt aufjedenfall.

Wir sind nach langen Jahren wieder durch eine Empfehlung auf den Heidegrill aufmerksam gemacht worden. Zum zweiten Mal hier Essen und wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal 😊 Das Essen ist gut und reichhaltig. Auf persönliche Wünsche wird direkt eingegangen. Preis Leistung Top! Not the most friendly staff and even in german we couldnt really order what we wanted to. 2 of 3 meals had ingredients that we said shouldnt be on it. The food tasted kinda good and we can recommend the seitan.
This place is not really my piece of cake. Throughout the week it's quite busy due to all phone/online orders and the guys are not really taking care of the standard customers who are coming to the restaurant around lunch time. My experience is also that the guys are not listening properly. I have been twice there so far and never really get what I have asked for. (first trial: I have asked for Dürüm with chicken and cheese only and I have got a complete one incl.salad). Second time I have asked for a simple Dürüm with everything and have got a Döner....Anyway, I will think of a next chance for the folks at some stage. Another minus star is that no card payment is possible. Hmm.

A nice place to sit outside and have some drinks. They have the heaters outside so even in the late evenings it’s not too cold. The Currywurst is delicious, the fries with sour cream okay. I also liked the music they play. The service is great there.

Die Fische sind Megafrisch und alles sehr lecker! Wir haben Sushi Land( für 2 Personnen inklusive 2 Misosuppe und Weiß Wein) bestellt. Die Zubreitung dauert, aber die Wartezeit lohnt sich. Ich würde gerne weiterempfehlen und wieder kommen! Sehr lecker und Megafrisch!! Bestes Sushi in Hannover!
I went there several times. The food and the price was good, the portions were big. It looked clean, the shop is is very small. What I didn't like was that the old owner and his littlekid were rushing in and out of behind the counter in street clothes and without washing their hands. The staff was looking tidy though.
Katastrophal. Personal unfreundlich und inkompetent. Es gibt Reihen für Speisen und Getränke. Nach 10 min Wartezeit für 2 Getränke an der Getränkeausgabe sagte mir die Dame dass ich mich beim Essen anstellen soll, dort waren mittlerweile natürlich auch viele Leute. Mein Mann stand dann dort an und musste nochmals 10 Minuten warten. Nein danke!
Großartiger Stehimbiß mit perfekten Salzbrenner-Würstchen vom Holzkohlegrill. Die haben hier einfach das besondere Etwas. Dazu gibt's durch den Schnack vom Inhaber und den Gästen teils beste Unterhaltung.

Curry Grindel is an awesome place for a snack, currywurst in this part of the town. Everything is freshly prepared and always delicious. It's really good quality and the owner and staff is always very friendly and easy going.
They have a huge selection of different drinks, both soft drinks and beers, of which the owner is very proud.

1 a Salzbrenner Bratwürste vom Holzkohlegrill, freundlich und zackig serviert. Super. Wenn alle Gäste gut drauf sind ist Dittsches Trashtalk unterirdisch dagegen! Hingehen und einfach nur zuhören. ;-)

Unfreundliches Personal...Essen war aber ok
Wer Lust auf verschiedene Bratwurst-Sorten frisch vom großen Holzkohle-Grill hat, sollte hier einfach mal vorbeischauen. Immer frisch und sehr lecker zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Parkplätze sind immer auf dem Gelände des angrenzenden Baumarktes vorhanden. Empfehlenswert !
