Was here a couple of years ago when I visited San Sebastian. I am visiting Bilbao this time so why not. Enjoyed the meal. We were reminded as soon as we sat that there is a maximum of two hours to enjoy our meal. The steak was a fantastic dry-aged cut. The starter was fab.

Super meal, super food and lovely service. I would recommend walking in and booking prior to going as it tends to be very busy in both the restaurant and bar area. Our waiter, Arnold, was very accommodating and gave us some local recommendations too! The food was so tasty, filling and fresh - both for meat and fish eaters. We shared starters, each had a main and shared a desert between four. If you have room at the end of the meal, I would suggest getting the French Toast - which is filled with a rice pudding - absolutely delicious. Definitely lived up to the hype of San Sebastián being the food capital of Europe!

We came in at 3:45 and we were hoping to grab a late lunch as we saw they closed at 4:30, but they said the kitchen was closed. The tapas were okay, of the ones we tried the tuna tataki was the best and the one I would recommend. The place inside was interesting, the floor was see through and you could see the cellar below. If you are looking for a quick bite and a drink, it’s an easy going place to stop by.

Truly amazing food in Toledo - the kitchen actually only opens at 1pm (the bar at 12pm), and its fusion menu brought plenty of familiar flavours. Had the wild boar sirloin and it was so, so good!! A tad pricey but the food quality and taste was 100%.
Great place for Spanish food. Fixed menu prices. Wine ok, but the food is sooooo good. So many options!
We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the last few years. We tried to book it from the UK before we arrived on Thurs by email, phone and WhatsApp to no avail. On arriving at our villa we went into the restaurant on the Thurs night and we were assured we had a table for 6 people beside the window at 7pm on Fri night. We arrived at 7pm on the Fri to be told there wasn't a table available and the best he could do was seat us at 2 separate tables 4 at one and 2 at another. Very poor service, we definitely will not return. Bonus was we have never been into The Camel who made us feel very welcome, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional, wish we had tried it before now.
The waiter was nice but a bit fussy. I couldn’t get a table on the terrace because he wanted everyone in sight inside, so I ended up at a table by the entrance, which wasn't ideal. The octopus was good, the fish soup was a bit greasy. The wine was great, though.
Amazing pintxos and wine! Gandarias Jatetxea has a great vibe, and the food is fresh and delicious. Loved the mix of flavors—especially the goat cheese and seafood bites. Perfect spot for a quick, tasty stop. Highly recommend!
Be wowed!
We adored our experience... starting with the duck dumplings followed by the scallops in green curry and the tuna tartar... it tasted like heaven... and the service was amazing, at the perfect speed for such an amazing experience... can't wait to come back to Toledo for a repeat!

My family and I enjoyed a nice dinner here while in Toledo. The food was good, the staff was courteous, and the restaurant itself was a multi floor cave environment. As nice place for a quality meal.

Great dinner in Toledo! The cocktail bar is located downstairs, while the main restaurant is upstairs. Friendly service from all the waitstaff, especially Bea who was very kind and explained all the dishes to us in English. Food is very tasty, with lots of fusion flavors (from Asia, South America, etc). Our favorite dishes were the Vietnamese spring roll and Peruvian saltado.

The pinchos are excellent but the table restuarant food is a disappointment. The seafood ingredients are fresh but the cooking could've been better - the fish we ordered was too oily, the cod and clams were overly creamy that it masked the taste of everything else.
Very affordable lunchtime menu.
Lovely food, very nice and friendly staff and the sangria is a must!

We enjoyed our food, excellent and professional staff, the atmosphere, and location. Julio was just an excellent waiter and so professional yet welcoming. He, along with other wait staff, made us feel like family even though we were tourists like most other wanderers. The charred bacalao, filet of bacalao, my fish dish that i can’t remember the name (!), and the bread, especially the pan de tata :) were exceptional. Oh, and the dessert! Thanks so much for a memorable experience in a memorable city.
Outstanding.

Be wowed! Come to Toledo and enjoy an excellent foodie experience. Inventive and surprising menu.

Our favorites were the Duck Dumplings and the Scallops in Curry Sauce. Octopus was good. A bit chewier than we like but the sauce was outstanding.

For food allergens the menu is well marked by plate. Beware if you have peanut allergies as I am a few items are fried in peanut oil. ask your waiter. They are well aware of what has what. We ate without any issues.

Service is friendly and fabulous.

Ambiance is fun with modern characteristics mixed with medieval architecture.

Worth coming here for both pintxos and sit down dinner. Steak of any kind was amazing. Cold pintxos were also fab. Their scallops at sit down dinner were one of our favorite bites of the trip. The only thing I did not like was the traditional toast dessert.
Heavy use of the microwave for the tapas at this restaurant! You could hear the constant "pings" coming from the kitchen. Heard lots of good things about this place but really disappointed. Interestingly, we turned up at 6pm, and you could hear the constant pings from the microwave. Then a few more chefs turned up from around 6:30 and the pings seemed to stop, so maybe we were unlucky with the time that we arrived! Look at the picture of the "grilled cheese" attached - clearly just put in the microwave. The best dish was the garlic bread with Iberian ham, probably because it wasn't put in the microwave.

Very nice selection of wine. A good selection of very interesting tapas. Loved the cannelloni with deer. Service was also excellent. Great way to end a half day in Toledo. Need to make a reservation if you want to be seated in the Caves. See-through floor allows views of the Caves.

Food here is spectacular, service very friendly and professional. We felt super welcomed and we been looked after amazingly.

We always try croquetas in each place if it comes with distant flavours. Croquetas here were fantastic - one of the best we ever had! In general dishes are very appealing and delicious. Can’t wait to return to Toledo to visit this restaurant for lunch again!
Great service and amazing food, our waiter has been working at this restaurant for over 30... He now takes photos like David Bailey 😁

Had drinks and ate here last night. What a find! Great cocktails, cosy, traditional atmosphere, friendly staff topped off by super delicious food more akin to that served in Michelin starred restaurants. If you are in Toledo for a few nights, try and get a reservation for dinner here, booking is definitely necessary due to the popularity.

Went there a few times for pintxos but also once for the restaurant. The place is always packed, so you have to queue to get to the counter and if you want a table you need to book it in advance (restaurant table menu is different and you cannot order pintxos). The food is worth the wait though, excellent tapas and red house wine. Restaurant dishes are a bit pricey but the quality is outstanding. Highly recommend!

First round of pintxos in San Sebastián, and it didn’t disappoint! Simple and fresh produce highlighted in tiny pintxos, which left my belly very happy.

My Spanish is rusty at best, but I’d like to think that my Spanish food vocab is top notch 🥰 having said that, I loved that the staff were very friendly and patient with my dodgy Spanish sentences, but also that one wall in the restaurant had all the pintxos translated into different languages!! It made it easy to navigate and to pick what dishes I wanted to sample.

Came during peak dinner time, so it was very crowded with tourists and there were some queue jumpers, which was mildly infuriating. Nothing could rain on my parade though.

All in all, this made the start of my trip to San Sebastián one to remember! 10/10 would come again next time I am in town!
Excelente.

The place has a really fine environment, looking like a tavern, and I just got in because they had vegetarian options. I got the burger with beyond meat and it was amazing!! The food from other tables were looking fine as well

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Was extremely busy in the Pintxos bar so we had to opt for the dining room. The food was delicious but wish we could have enjoyed their menu on the other side as well.
Service was welcoming and accommodating with dietaries as well.
Highly recommend

Very nice restaurant with very cool atmosphere and excellent service. We had a big meal with lots of tasty appetizers and delicious mains. The cave aspect was really cool. Some old foundations are visible through glass floors. Food was fantastic, and our waiter was excellent.

Great service and great food. Although the kitchen was closing the staff were very kind and made sure to try and get us some food. The environment is very cool and they have a wine cellar underground.

The best! We speak no Spanish, the staff speaks no English and yet they were so friendly and accomodating and we managed somehow and had the best meal ever in Zaragoza! Thank you so much!
Fantastic little Taberna tucked away in medieval building. We liked it so much we came back the next day for drinks. Such interesting food with elevated tapas and surprising flavors. We had the tasting menu and loved every dish. Fantastic cocktail and spirits selection served by talented mixologists, service was friendly and the staff was so knowledgeable and passionate about the food served. Would 100% recommend

After having visited several other beautiful cities in Spain and experienced so many yummy dishes, we came to Casa Unai to find out what more one can expect of this country! Excellent service and quality of dishes and wines they offer! We had a lovely lunch first, then we came back again for the dinner! Thank you very much for your great service.
Absolutely stunning food. The peppers, prawns and chorizo in apple cider were delicious but the stand out dishes were the fish fingers (most delicate batter I've ever had) and the garlic bread with Iberia ham (cooked to perfection, crispy yet soft)

The waiters were super helpful, social and really nice. Stunning views. Would come here again in a heartbeat

I wish I could give 10 stars. We were guided through our dinner / journey with a sequence of delicious plates, with a lot of care.
We went here twice, the first time was in day 1 of the holiday for lunch. We hadn't booked a table but they found us room which was nice. We had 5 tapas dishes which were all great.
It is a small restaurant with great atmosphere and amazing views.

We decided to go back for our last holiday meal after trying quiet a few restaurants during the week. We booked this time and got a table next to the windows which gives you stunning views and atmosphere. We again had tapas but different dishes which were lovely. I did want to take some photos to post but forgot as soon as the food arrived so sorry the ones I've added are when I remembered.
The staff are lovely. Service is great and the food is probably the best tapas we tried in playa blanca.

Thank you La Cuadra.

My dining experience at La Cave was a mix of charming ambiance and varied cuisine. The decor of the restaurant is its standout feature, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The thoughtful decoration adds a touch of elegance, making it a visually appealing place to dine. However, it’s worth noting that to enjoy the best seating downstairs, reservations are necessary.

As for the food, the Potato Waffle Tapas were satisfactory but not extraordinary. The octopus legs slightly missed the mark in terms of freshness, and the lamb chops were a tad overcooked. The dessert seemed more like a supermarket purchase than a chef’s creation, which was a bit disappointing.

"Restaurant Itziar is unbeatable"

Run by Alberto, from San Sebastian, Itziar Restaurant in Cortes de Aragón, 40 is a must go for a very tasty, home made style food and economical "Menu del Día" (set menu) —and for €11.00 (2023) is unbeateable.

Overall, this homemade-style food restaurant is a hidden treasure. You can choose between 8 different first courses, and another 8 main ones, plus 6 desserts, bread, house wine, soda or water.

It combines delicious, comforting food with a warm basic and simple style at unbeatable price.

This is a no brainer Menú del Día restaurant, in Zaragoza.
We now have been at this restaurant twice and booked dinner for our last night. Amazing experience, staff are super polite and attentive. Food is delicious, generous portions and great selection of dishes. I would definitely recommend. It gets busy so prepare to be patient and just enjoy the whole experience while sipping delicious cocktails or sangria. If you want table with a view book in advance.

This is an amazing restaurant! We ordered six different dishes of their specialties / daily menu to share (fresh guacamole made at our table, octopus, shark bites, tenderloin beef, eggplants with honey) and everything was so so tasty!! The server made very good recommendations and also helped to translate the menu items that we didn't know. We also had a really good chupito! You definitely will enjoy going there!!
Repitire seguro .

Great service , They have a superb menu with appetizers and main dishes . It’s a good place for lunch or dinner with small group of friends and family.
The most delicious food is Paiya its rice mixed with seafood
Paella were delicious and home made desserts a real treat.

We were looking for a good seafood restaurant and found this perfect spot. Very kind staff, a cozy enviornment in a rather small place so you can feel the familiarity in the room. Well the food was perfect. We rarely had so well cooked seafood, so moist and delicious. Simple, but very tasty. Each bite is a new experience. A must try place in Zaragoza!

Excellent! Exactly the kind of place I live. Tucked away on a side street, amazing food, fresh with great ingredients, and warm service in an unassuming space. We had four dishes and all were amazing. The pork with dried tomatoes was our favourite. Will definitely return if I’m in Zaragoza again.

My experience here was not great. We saw the reviews and walked a while to reach the place after booking a table outside, but when we arrived they wanted to give us a table inside where the air conditioning made the place too cold. After discussing with the waiter he offered us a couple of beer to apologize (this was nice) and then transferred us outside at the table. The problem was the bad smell coming from the trash close to the restaurant. Food didn't look bad, the tacos de solomillo were not bad, the pulpo was way too salty though. The service was too hasty, too much in a hurry everyone. I believe food in general might not be bad but our overall experience was not good.

I like this restaurant very much. Food is great, service is wonderful, fast and easy to find. Recommend you to come and taste great sea food and meat!
Mala experiencia.

A €10 menu, a bottle of wine included. We were two. More than generous helpings of first and second courses. Desert also included. Distinctive home-cooked food.
I can comfortably say I will not be back. Mediocre is the most accurate description of it. The service, far from ideal. Acting like doing a favour. He forgot to give napkins and cutlery to two of us and looked offended when we asked for it. I had never seen a waiter looking disappointed when one of us mentioned an allergy to nuts. That ended up all niceties. Expensive for what it was.
No esperes cocinas raras o nuevas.
Very good Spanish restaurant. We went for Sunday lunch with Spanish friends. Atmosphere friendly, leisurely. Rices very good indeed and nice range of starters and deserts. One of the best.
Pure good. Nice atmosphere. Great.
