Really loved the zoo. It is small but lots to see. We loved feeding various animals popcorn. The kids park was excellent and the snack bar over looked over the zebras /camels. Lots of species of storks and cranes to see. Would throughly recommend.

Wonderful place to go with kids. Can seem a little expensive, but once you go in you realise it's not, 100% worth it. Lots of cool animals and you can even feed them. Visiting the whole thing takes at least 1h45min, so it's not small.

Tough ride to get there and in the zoonot really enjoyable ride if you have small kids that require a buggy. It's very steep and lots of holes in the ways. Yes, very small zool - we were done in <30min, and we spent a lot of time with each animal we saw (we saw 7, including the donkey and goat). The cages seemed indeed small, and everything looked very ramped down (fences were taped with wire that they still hold 😂😂). It's definitely not worth the ride, but maybe we are just used to different experiences when it comes to zoos...
On the positive note, they started to refurbish a lot of cages. All the best for the future to the team that was nice and especially the animals.

Amazing little zoo where you can feed animals with popcorn (can be bought with entrance tickets). The kids (ages 4 and 10) really enjoyed the visit; we had to go round the zoo twice. We even watched peacock male dancing in front of a peacock female:)
Fantastic zoo! Staff are really passionate and are clearly doing a great job caring for these animals. It’s important to visit as the money spent on the tickets will improvise their facility and make enclosures even better.

Great zoo, bigger than what I expected for the city the size of Labenne. We got the yearly membership and our toddlers love it every time. It's not too big so you don't feel the need to rush all the time. You are also pretty close to animals which for little kids is great.
Très joli jardin zoologique pour se balader avec les enfants. Espace restauration très agréable
Parc familial très agréable où les jeunes enfants (et les plus grands) se régalent. Les haras en liberté sont magnifiques et la récente portée de la femelle Ocelot est juste incroyable. Comptez 3h de détente avec une pause glace pour un après-midi tout à fait réussi. Enfin le personnel est agréable et toujours disponible.

Une journée en famille top ou l'on peut voir différents animaux... Je recommande
À taille humaine ; surtout des oiseaux et des singes ; une ferme où les enfants pourront caresser des chèvres naines du Sénégal et un circuit qui serpente entre des cactus et autres plantes méditerranéennes. Nous y avons passé plus de deux heures avec grand plaisir.

Petit parc le tour se fait rapidement (1h30 environ), c'est joli, beaucoup de végétation. Petit bémol je trouve certains enclos vraiment petit notamment pour les singes.

Was easy to follow the route and we were able to feed the goats and actually we're able to feed the lemurs which was my highlight.
Husbandry could be improved but I understand they're working with what they've got.
The whole place, however was a constructions site. When going to the entrance it didnt look very welcoming. I actually thought the place was abandoned! And then walking though the park there was construction work everywhere.
Nice play area at the ends to we sat and chilled there for a while after with drinks.

Les koalas et les kangourous sont trop mignons. Les méduses et les poissons sont très colorés également. Un vrai voyage en Australie.
Très intéressant d'en apprendre plus sur les koalas, la démonstration est passionnante. Comme le reste du zoo on y découvre des espèces magnifiques et c'est vraiment pédagogique

Visiting this “zoo” was a sad experience. The history of animal care has clearly been forgotten. The animals seem bored and distressed, with very small cages. There was no staff caring or sharing knowledge of the animals. I hope some of my money goes towards the animal care and eventual closure.

Les Koalas ne sont décidément pas très actifs (rire), mais la serre est superbe et permet de mieux les connaitre. Super travail de Beauval comme à leur habitude.

Cette serre australienne est un bel endroit pour découvrir les fameux Koalas, kangourous arboricoles, méduses et bien d’autres encore.

Almost all the animals here are feline. The animals look very well taken care of. There is also a lot of info about the animals so it’s not only nice to see but also educational.
Some enclosures however seem a little to small and could use some modernization. But they seem to have a lot of toys to play with and they all had fresh (some even streaming) water in there enclosure. Overall the animals looked very happy. I would go again if i’m ever in the neighborhood again. (Especially for cute little retired Yvonne the raccoon)

Jolie parc zoologique, fait le bonheur des plus petits et des plus grands. Seul inconvénients le parking trop petit et trop de trous.
We were shocked by the treatment of the animals, all the cages were far too small and clearly not well maintained. I'm surprised its still allowed to be running. We both left almost in tears and are very upset that we gave this zoo our money, I would advise anyone to avoid it.

Fun for an hour and a half. It is very tired and is in desperate need of investment in everything. To be positive, the animals appear in good condition and well looked after. None of them looked insane like the polar bear at Glasgow zoo. My daughter enjoyed herself. The picnic tables have a great view.

Nice little zoo, but life seems to be boring for these cats. Also, lots of empty cages. But still, nice visit
Nice little place, spread out and lots of animals. Can buy popcorn to feed to animals which was nice. We visited with two young kids who loved it. Worth a visit, plan for half a day.
Very well maintained zoo with lots of animals. Although I understand the Zoo needs to earn extras from tourists, but I would prefer it to be a photographic opportunity than selling popcorns snacks to feed animals. Even if those are "healthy" snacks, it's sad to see wild animals begging for snacks.
Infant changing facility is within the ladies room. I would prefer it to be in a neutral room. In any case, it's a great Zoo to bring your kids.

Fantastic view! The cable car ride is great and good value for money. The brasserie at the top however is a different story. Bad and slow service, the food was served late cold and not what we ordered. Have a drink there and enjoy the view but don't eat there!
