Chinese here, so their food are very authentic, and their cooking style are specifically traced to.. their store name mentioned “Shanghai” which offer food like hot sour soap. We found the food very enjoyable and definitely worth the price, given the selection of buffet- dim sum, custom order for chef to cook for you, sushi and sashimi, ice cream, soup. Etc they didn’t offer soft drinks in the buffet though, so we drank water. We always come back here as Chinese visiting Strasbourg as we couldn’t think of any reason not to. Not sure why this place has low review either as the food are great, their review is probably complaint about the service which again, Chinese server usually don’t smile so might have been perceived as rude due to culture indifferent….their price have gone up a bit but still very cheap.

C’est le premier restaurant chinois où je vais de toute ma vie qui me présente un riz mauvais réchauffer de plusieurs jours et qui est juste immangeable

Incredible Korean food, I highly recommend!
This was the worst Chinese buffet that I have ever tried .The service is very bad and they do not speak English. Very poor hygiene and poor food, you can tell by its bad smell
Très très très déçu , aujourd’hui jeudi 28 décembre j ai pris des plateaux de suchis et california , qui vraiment d habitude sont excellents , mais la aujourd’hui riz trop sec aucun plaisir à manger , j avais l impression de manger les box bas de gamme de chez Lidl
Strong pungent smell upon entrance. Very limited food selection surprisingly. Half of them are raw food, yet the wok station has one man and not at all friendly. Guy needs some serious customer service training. Confusing queuing directions, bland taste, an overall very inefficient station. Expect holding your food for quite a long wait and the chef cooking for random new people first. True the comment of other reviewers that the guy look at you funny. Soup is watery and few actual dishes, mostly cheap repeating stuffs. Limited seafood and not fresh; sushi is way too sour. Staffs floating around but no one is picking up used plates. One good thing is perhaps the decent ice creams like others mentioned here.
This was the worst Chinese buffet that I have ever gone to and i regret spending money here, even a 5€ mcdonalds menu is more worth it. The people working there are super aggressive and look at you badly. I found hair in the food. There is not that much selection for food. For the wok area, the waiting is way too long. The place smells super bad. I would’ve said that the only thing that you can eat there is the ice cream but even in the ice cream there was hair. Never go here, it the biggest scam for the price, there is so much better for the same price.

Les nouilles sont délicieuses mais les prix ont trop augmenté pour des nouilles, de plus les portions sont aberrante 4 petite misérable crevette pour 8 euro la box. Tout est très bon mais franchement les prix et les quantités cava plus. Il prennent pas la carte et pour une fourchette en plastique j’ai du payer 20 centime :(

I saw the restaurant’s review and I was expecting the best Korean BBQ I have ever had. Unfortunately it was not the case. The food was OK. Everything was too sweet in terms of dishes and the quality of the meat as well as the marinades were slightly above average. The atmosphere in the restaurant though was great as it was buzzing. Not sure I would come back though.

We had lunch at the garden absolutely delicious and outstanding service, from the doorman to the reception and waiter are very attentive. Upon arrival you walk to the outdoor area with a stunning view of the sky in the garden with a view of the Eiffel towel.
We had caviar, tuna tataki, lobster salad, lobster toast and children had kids meals. Price is upscale from beverages to foods reflect to their high standard service and quality.

Honestly the menu lacked an understanding of food. It’s kind of like concepts of a cook with some imagination but no follow through on actually eating their own dishes enough times to know if it’s really good and honestly…it’s not.

The food is very good (we had scampi and beef, and both were very good). The portion sizes are super big, and the value for money is great. Definitely recommend this place. The restaurant itself is a tad small, but still worth it.

The experience is great - we took two menu B and it fed us well.
First time in a Korean restaurant and it was a pleasant experience. Never did such a bbq, so some guidance was needed and we got it there. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The food was delicious, have nothing more to add.
The atmosphere was nice as well, the interior of the restaurant fitted the kitchen.

Very tasty food! Loved the spicy options! Easy to order for gluten free and vegan. Staff didn’t speak much English but it worked out. They were helpful. Favorite dish was stir fry noodles
Great little space serving Asian vegetarian food near Strasbourg Saint-Denis/Chateau D’Eau metro. Friendly Chinese owner who speaks Chinese, English and French. They can also customise food without allium (no onions, no garlic). We ate there multiple times during our stay in Paris because the restaurant is clean, service is prompt, the food is delicious and of good value. Some of the dishes we tried were - fried rice, curry soup with vermicelli, basil tofu and curry claypot. Their coconut drink is also recommended - light and refreshing.
Don't order fried chicken, it's not Korean fried chicken! Fried very dry, no meat, only bones ! Not worth 19 euros！very disappointed！

Really good buffet in free border of the city center, large choice of food, lot of space. Nice staff, attentive, good service. However, I went to the wok twice and my food wasn’t cooked enough. I recommend.

Amazing selection of Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Loved everything I ordered. Good prices for Paris too. I arrived just as it opened, and within 20 minutes the restaurant was full. Shows that it's popular.
I cannot tell you what a respite this place has been since moving to Paris. An oasis formed by the friendly staff and wonderful vegan food. I am personally not the type of vegan whose diet includes 'fake meat' but my claypot 'beef' was delicious. Will go again (tomorrow, quite possibly both lunch and dinner as I'll be moving to another neighbourhood quite soon) and see if I'm brave enough to try fake 'fish' (probably not though). So pleased I found this place.
This place is well recommended if u find a restaurant that's inexpensive & good for value. With just EUR 18.9 u can eat shrimps & salmon as u wish 🙂 The shumai is juicy & the stir-fry wok is also good.

A very nice restaurant, great for a weekday/weekend gathering. The restaurant is very clean and has indoor outdoor seating options. The food is very good and the portions are adequate. The menu has a large variety of Chinese and Thai specialties. The prices are very fair. The service is quick and the staff are very welcoming and nice.

We had one of the best asian food in Paris. We waited 15 mins for our table but it was totally worth it. Both, red and green curry was exquisite. The flan was also very tasty. Food was affordable, relative to the other options in the Paris. Friendly staff. Only downside is that the Menu card is in french. Had to Google translate. Overall, wonderful experience and worth a visit when in Paris.
Everything about this dinner experience was 5/5. Upon arrival you walk out to the outdoor area with a stunning view of the sky in a quiet secluded garden with a view of the Eiffel towel. The staff was super lovely and accommodating. Everything from the complementary gazpacho to the starters to the baked sea bass and the wine was delicious. Personal favourite of the evening was the dessert: please order the mille feuille if you love caramel you won’t be disappointed. Normally I don’t like this dessert but this was the best dessert I’ve eaten since living in France. The perfect play of textures between crunchy and smooth.

Ambiance 5 stars , amazing location we sat in the garden , had a nice glimpse on the Eifel tower , great weather and really relaxing music not to mention the amazing architecture of the building

Drinks 2 points because the champagne was good but 132 euro for 4 glasses did. had a strange aftertaste, one bottle of Evian water 12€ (No ice no lemon in the glasses )
Food: we had some starters the 2 Dips with raw vegetables a bit of oil on them 20€ and 2 spring rolled 26€ (the rolls were really good sadly the only highlight )
As mains we had the lobster salat for 58€ The salat was good an fresh yet it came with a small bug ( kitchen should wash the salat better ) and they were very cautious with the lobster because on the salat there were just a few lobster bites . The Vegan Pad Thai for 32€ was sadly a disappointment, the tofu was a very low quality one and I had better Pad Thai in normal Asian restaurants
All in one a nice time yet with a bitter aftertaste because of the high prices for a mediocre cuisine!

The food here tastes authentic with great flavours and affordable prices. It serves better Asian food than most places in Asia. The owners are also very friendly people. Highly recommended!

The grilled duck with tamarind sauce is the best here 👌🏻 I would recommend red and green curry here too and not recommend tom yum as it is lacked of authentic flavor.
We came here as we had one vegetarian and one vegan in the group, there was a lot of choice - maybe too much choice as it was very difficult to pick something to eat.
The item I had I wish I hadn't as it just wasn't my cup of tea but everyone else really enjoyed theirs. I also had a little of my friends food which was Tofu which was very sweet but really enjoyable.
There is a toilet in this establishment as well which was super duper clean.

Loved this place, I would go back again whenever I am in Paris. Big choice of dishes from Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. Everything we ordered was delicious and nicely plated. Place was crowded but service was still very fast and accurate. Try to visit when a bit hungry to make the most of it :) Highly recommend the sticky rice, tripes croquant, sal Riz croustillant.
Good restaurant, went twice in one month. Food is very good, typical Korean with good marinades.

For starters we had the ravioli, korean pancakes and the spicy tofu. Delicious start for a meal. The tofu was especially well seasoned. As for mains, we had the marinated beef and the duck barbecue. The meat was really fresh and tender. All the flavors were spot on. And of course, for drinks we had the soju and beers. Definitely recommend the place.

and pecan nuts dessert -pictured- was my favorite). However, we were seated on the top floor of the Bauhinia and the service could be improved, specially at such price point. Service was friendly and we felt welcome but our starter arrived before our glasses of wine, our table wasn’t cleaned during our meal (we ate dessert with some crumbs that had fallen from our starter) and there was some dirt under the black table cloth. Also our waiter at same point complaint loudly of how difficult was to clean the table that was close to us.. it looked too laidback for us and certainly not trying its best, more what you would expect of a brasserie but not from
the Shangri-La.

The quality and taste of the food was great, no complaints there. The service was decent but where I had to take off a star was the quantity; I wasn't full after. The price is pretty good considering it's the city center but you can't eat inside (there are 2 tables outside but given it's getting colder that's not exactly a nice option). All in all, I'd eat there again but knowing it's a snack and not a real meal.

Me and my husband stayed two nights in Shangri-La hotel. Normally when you come to a five-star hotel, with a Michelin-star restaurant, you expect the bistro in the hotel would be also delicate, delightful, top quality bistro food. Honestly, we have to say the quality of the food is under our expectation. We ordered a Thai salad, a fish salad, a burger for our kid, as well as one lobster salad and white fish dish as our main course. The Thai salad was exactly the same as you would have in any street pub/ bar/ bistro in Thailand, nothing special but maybe 10 times the price. I don’t know if the restaurant has changed chef recently, but all the dishes looked nothing like the pictures in the official website or in the previous comments. When the dishes arrived, I had a feeling I was in some mass-market Parisian restaurant for tourists: the visual layout of the dish was messy, fish was over cooked, the lobster was dull, the only highlight was maybe the French Fries from the children menu for my kid. The decoration and atmosphere was good, but nothing comparable to Ritz or Peninsula. Honestly, if you are looking for delicious food, there are much better price for value options in Paris. If you are looking for good atmosphere, it is ok but nothing romantic or special. Hope this would improve, Shangri-La means heavenly beautiful place, I hope the brand shall live up to its name.
Recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Highlights for me are chicken feet salad, tom yum goong, som tum, and duck in tamarind sauce with fried basil.
Excellent service and very friendly-courteous staff, the food is exceptional. The food is meticulously prepared and is very flavorful. We truly enjoyed our experience. The place seems to be very popular. Would definitely suggest for an authentic tasty meal!

The store felt like a home, good home cook authentic Chinese food. Owner is a Chinese couple and speak good Chinese! Good place to have the taste back from home. Cheap and nice Asian food.

The taste of foods were excellent ! But this restaurant is a little bit high priced, but if you really want to taste good laotian food, you're should go for it. It's worth it. And if you share in a large group it should be fine. We were 5 people and payed around 150 €.

The menu was large, a way too much because they also offer chinese and vietnamese food .. so it took time until we figure out which one is the traditional laotian food.
But i still really recommend this place for good laotian food..
Quick thai style noodles or rice. I'm not familiar with authentic thai food but this was at least tasty and filling. Ideal for a quick lunch sitting in the square opposite.
All caps for a reason: THE BEST VEGAN MEALS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Wow. Just wow. Went with a non vegan and he was blown away. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Great.

I had lunch there and it was soo amazing!! It seems this place quite famous with a good reputation and mostly get full quickly during the lunch time. I really like that they provide lunch Menu with some starters, main dish and drink. So you can taste various Korean dishes. I ordered squid bulgogi (오징어불고기) and the vegetables seem really fresh and also the sauce was so delicious. I satisfied all the food I ordered and the price was worth to pay €15.50(including wine). You can’t beat with this price in Paris and especially in the city center. Highly recommended 👍

Very lovely vegetarian food and super fair prices. The staff are so friendly as well. The restaurant itself seems quite clean and cheerful. I ordered a meal deal, which includes a salad, main course ( tofu and fried noodles) and a desert for only 16 euro!! Plus a drink~ around 20 euro a superb late lunch. One of my best eating experience in Paris. I’d love to come back and try their sushi.

The food is OK for the prices, they makes take away and actually giving 10% discount for taking out.
Great food and quick
Really appreciated that they welcome us really late even if the kitchen was about to close. Thaï food was good and not expensive.
Great Thai and Chinese food. One of the best dinners we had in Paris.
