A very beautiful place on the waterfront in Herzliya, good quality food, a vacation atmosphere
We ordered take out and did not have a good experience. The fish did not taste fresh at all and in the end we threw away everything we ordered. When I called the restaurant to inform them (politely), the manager was very defensive and insisted that the fish was ordered that same morning. While this may be true, it still had a very strange taste and we did not feel comfortable eating it. I had to argue with the manager just to get a partial refund, which she gave us on the premise that the order arrived late (which after checking with the delivery service we were told it actually arrived early). The customer service was very poor in my opinion.

After a specially tough day and several hours of driving from the south, we stopped at this branch of Japanika to pick up a late dinner.
A welcoming man took our order and another lovely waitress was empathic to how tired we looked.
They both invited us to sit at the bar while looking at the menu, and then again while waiting for our food, and we accepted gratefully.
Oddly, the bar tender wasn't as kind and when we set down the second time to wait for our food he rudly asked us to get off the bar if we don't order drinks (he knew that we were waiting for our take out, and our order did include drinks, but they were to go).
The bar had 9 sits and only one was occupied, yet he chose not to share his empty sits. How sad to see that despite his advanced age and the grey in his hair, he is yet to gain the wisdom that a little kindness can go a long way...
The food was as good as usual, we generally like the Japanika brand and service.

Best during happy hour! Cocktails are the best. Also the food was amazing and perfectly cooked. We ordered 6 dishes and all exceeded expectations

Worst service ive ever encounterd. Rudest costumer server ive talked to and the food is really below avarage, delivery came in late and the place didnt take any responsibility for missing items or allergies, i cant reccomand this place and will never be back.
What an experience!!! First of all, I'm not vegan and I ate here while pregnant. As a meat and fish lover I was excited to try this place and their famous sushi. I was not disappointed at all. We tried a tofu and sweet potato bun, they were fantastic, crispy with this delicious dip. The Green Roll and Pistachio specials were absolutely amazing, very good flavors. I forgot it's actually all vegan and I could eat completely freely whatever I wanted. Our waitress was super sweet, always made good recommendations. Oh... I was never into sweet sushi, but try their toffee banana one (it's actually 8 big pieces and very creamy, fulfilling, so leave some spot for it) it is crazy good! Table reservation is a must❗People were lining up (dinner time on a weekend, after 7pm) outside and were waiting for a free seat.

Absolute best sushi in TLV whether or not you are vegan. In our 3 week trip, we came here I’ve 7 times. It is truly phenomenal.
The greediest place I have seen in a while. Charging 46 shekels for lettuce and cabbage salad and asking for 5 (!!) more just for a little bit of extra dressing. Also, the owner was very rude to the employees to the point where I felt uncomfortable.

A few years ago, JAPANIKA was one of the best Asian restaurants in Haifa.
Today the food doesn't taste very good and this is reflected in low quality and well-felt products. Asian restaurant without seafood!!! Doesn't seem satisfactory to me. Most of the wok dishes are same flavour.

The supervisor was nasty to one of the customers who had mix-up with their order. Then he turned on me and on his servers. Stressful place.
The food is a little overpriced: $22 for a 9 piece salmon roll, tasty but not unusual.

Great place : I’m always come to the moon, and all the time fish is super fresh , and everything very tasty. One of the best Japanese cuisine in Israel . Must try ! The only thing, sometime the receptionist not work so well , but it was only one time. Hope its not happen again

Average / below average food, disrespectful and unfriendly staff. For example, I asked the bartender for the check and he said sure, then proceeded to spend ten minutes making drinks, taking other people’s orders, and even took a shot of liquor with other coworkers before helping me. Waste of money.

Great place for sushi in Tel Aviv. Had its ups and hiccups, but was super on our dinner evening. Food quality, service, atmosphere - all were just very good.
Oshi unagi, don't worry, salmon mamba and hinari salmon were all very tasty. Teas (geisha flowers and sencha) were ok - brewed with a bit too hot of a water. The prices were never a strong side of this place, but the quality well-worth it.

Just received an order of sushi- the sweet potato was basically raw, and pad Thai with over cooked noodles and no taste. Extremely disappointing as the restaurant wasn’t even interested in fixing their mistake.
Holy S#&@!!!! Best experience so far. Every item is vegetarian and delicious. The service was excellent. Have a view to the street and also the kitchen. Recommend the miso soup as it's a giant bowl. Thai salad was a banger. The Pistachio roll was on another level. Please add this into the rotation and enjoy. A gem.

Online ordering was great and tasty
Really bad service. Manager was unpleasant. Refused to accept any complaints. Stinky restrooms. Bad taste. Cheap and small portions. Cooked salmon. No soy. No water, or no glass. Very dissatisfied. Not recommended for any one who wishes to have fun and eat well.

If you’re vegan in Tel Aviv, run, don’t walk to this place. We were looking for a vegan spot near Shuk Carmel and decided to give this a try. First, the service was AMAZING. It was our first time there and we weren’t sure what to order and our waiter had fantastic recommendations. Everything he suggested was delicious. We had the Red Dragon roll, the Kalamata roll, the dim sum, kimchi, and ice cream. All the rolls were so beautiful and unique - the combinations of flavors were delicious. They’re not afraid to experiment with things like nuts, peanut butter, coconut milk, tofu, herbs, and spices and the rolls are a reflection of that. We’ve never had sushi like that before. I’m a meat eater and the dim sum honestly tasted like real meat to me! And the ice cream was unbelievable. It was pistachio and had an amazing nutty, savory flavor with a mild sweetness. I occasionally eat dairy ice cream and this was even better. The sushi presentation was very impressive as well - it’s clear that they put a lot of thought into not only the flavors but also the look. We don’t live in Israel but we’ll be back to this restaurant FOR SURE! Do yourself a favor and go there - you won’t be disappointed!

Love this particular Oshi Oshi in Herzliya! The manager is very professional and really caring about the food quality and service. Everything was looking great, fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place 👍
The restaurant is inside the hotel. Beautiful place and decor. We tried some dishes since we had a show to go to near by at the Beit Lesson theater which is about 6 minutes away. Had some fish dishes papaya salad and Susi. Wasn’t bad nor anything special about it also didn’t like the dominant spices and mayo. I will return for the atmosphere and great vibe of the place. And the drinks.
The food was delicious and the service was quick and helpful. We had a party of 10 people, and we ordered a variety of dishes. Amongst our top favourites were the salmon cheese balls, crispy rolls, chicken curry rice. I would go again.
We had a late business lunch for a couple. This vegan sushi place surprisingly served a really good food. The business lunch we took included first dishes- orange soup and egg rolls, and special sushi rolls as main dishes (59nis each). The food was very good ,fresh and tasty. But the amount was not satisfactory and we took another business lunch later. Bottom line-very recommended even if you are not a vegan.

In my opinion it’s one of the best sushi places in Israel, we visit this place for more than 20 yrs, they alway innovate, refresh their menu constantly, best fresh sushi and dishes and let’s not forget the prime soup dish - Shikoko tofu which is full of msg but really worth it!!! Highly recommend this place.

The food in this place is absolutely delicious with value for money!! Definitely worth a visit for a tasty dinner!
Unfortunately, service was not at the same level, we waited for a long time (15-20 minutes) until we were able to catch a waitress (who was lovely) to make our order.
After we made the order the service was pretty good.

🙂A Beautiful sushi restaurant with pretty good cocktails and super nice service. The restaurant is placed in a fancy and decorated hotel lobby. The sushi rolls and the dishes were good but the prices are a bit high. Also, a few of the dishes were not as tasty as they looked.
Not organized, forgot my dish but the desserts were fine.
Set it for a beer with a friends for one of the World Cup games and was pleasantly surprised to know that they have a lot of sushi and fish dishes. I tried one of the sushi dishes (the tartar on fried rice square) and it was awesome and I will definitely be back to try more.

Best sushi place in tel aviv. The menu is vast and super creative. We ordered one of the business lunches and then drank some warm sake to have a second lunch. Well worth the price. It seems like it's super popular for takeout.

Went twice, have a very good variety of sushi on the menu and pricing is reasonable. The staff are fine at what they do but are not that attentive. Sushi restaurant menus' back in the UK tend to be very similar to each other so it was refreshing to have a lot more choice of sushi/styles I had not seen before. I used to be a sushi chef and whilst the chefs there did not seem to take too much care and finesse with the form of the rolls, I cannot argue with the flavors and presentation. Would recommend and go again.
Friendly service, but otherwise disappointing. The signature cocktails were not very good, and other's on the menu were poorly made. Ordered an old-fashioned, and it came out watery. The food is okay.
One of the best sushi places in Tel Aviv. Small and quiet but the vibe and experience are amazing. They're so creative with their rolls, it's really amazing. They have happy hour during lunch time which is super nice

Location is great, by the marina, slight breeze, magic hour. Food is great but pricy. Burger was very good, sushi was divine. Servers are friendly and ready to help. Free parking. Patrons are aloud to smoke outside, big turn off.

I’ll start by saying this. It’s the first time I’ve been to a restaurant that provided tablets for menus with different language options. That unfortunately might be the best thing about the restaurant. I was a bit disappointed with the fish selections for their rolls. It seemed mostly salmon with a few tuna options. Salmon is not the first or second fish I think of when it comes to sushi (but then maybe location and culture might have something to do with that). We also ordered the vegan pad Thai (not something I normally see at a Japanese menu but whatever) that wasn’t half bad. The kid’s menu came with ice cream and even though they bussed the plates I didn’t realize we had to ask for it.
Location: Located at the the central Carmel by the main road near "Gan Ha'aem" park.
Parking: there are some parking areas that are not free. However, area is a bit crowded so take spare time to find a spot.
Staff: very nice and friendly. If you don't have reservation you may need to wait for a couple of minutes.

Wasabi is my favorite place to eat sushi at. The menu options are vast, the quality of the ingredients is top notch and the delivery is always made on time. I would 10/10 recommend.
We had a delicious lunch! I was overwhelmed by the options as a vegetarian who is usually limited to a few rolls at normal sushi places. The Thai noodle salad was delicious and colorful, and the egg rolls were the best I’ve ever had. The sushi was creative and had interesting flavors. If you’re looking for a simple avocado roll this is not the place. Overall great presentation and I would recommend!
Wonderful tasty Sushi. We didn't reserve a table, the team was kindly offering us a table on the balcony. Our waitress was professional and the service was excellent.

I eat at my hometown branch from time to time, so Japanika is no stranger to me. This is another Great branch by Japanika. We came for lunch and the place wasn't stacked. The waitresses were kind and the food was great as usual. Had a great time.
A Tel Aviv sushi institution that has existed for years, every time I go there I get excited about the selection like a girl in a candy store. Surprising combinations, great flavors, fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend the mr white cocktails its the best cocktail in alibi.
Also the food is amazing and prices are super low for the quality you are getting, the quality here is amazing.

A lovely spot for a special meal. Watch the sunset and the marina from the balcony and enjoy excellent food and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend the Shrimp Cesar salad. It's better to book ahead because the place is very popular. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality of the cuisine and location.

Nice restaurant right next to a large yacht club and shopping mall. There are tables both inside and outside the restaurant. There is a bar inside. The waiters are polite, they can tell with an order.
The prices are high, the size of the dishes is partially less than average in other places, but each dish we ordered was worth the money. The four of us ordered different fish dishes with white wine and one sushi set for everyone as an appetizer. And all this was very tasty and very satisfying.

Eeeeemmmmm not so good how i waiting in this expensive hotel’s sushi bar. To much money but very not good sushi. Nex time i will go to another place. Very sad that this time I chose to celebrate my very important day at this place.

מאכזב ברמות. איך מקום כזה במלון כל כך יקר יכול להרשות לעצמן רמה כל כך נמוכה וכל כך קמצנית של סושי. אפילו במסעדות פחות פלצניות סושי שווה יותר וגם הרבה יותר זול. אין שום סיבה לבוא לפה לאכול סושי. מבחר גם לא מהשהו.
אפשר לבוא למשקה שגם בישביל זה אין סיבה להגיע כי גם הישיבה לא נוחה ממש מקום גרוע.

The service is really bad and inconsistent
The restaurant was practically empty the waiter took
Forever To get things, there was lots of not really functioning staff Wondering about yet we sat with empty dirty plates for nearly 40 min! we asked for bottled water and he promised to bring that.’in a secind’. but took 40 min and three reminders
When asked to-remove the plates after a long wait he was snappy and upset we asked after 40 minutes
We also waited over 30 Minutes for Our dessert and tea and; only when we got up and asked to cancel dessert and pay they rushed it.. we were promised a special dessert for the birthday boy we were celebrating they promised a sparkler candle l, but, of course didn’t provide!
We had booked In advance and were promised parking, we called again on our way and were told we could pull up to the front of the hotel and have valet parking however the two people who were supposed to do it, albeit standing and smoking with nothing else to do at the entrance said valet was only For hotel guests not the restaurant guests
So we had to spend time driving around looking for parking in the very tight area surrounding the hotel!
All in all the chef was a really

Employees were standing at the entrance to the garden smoking! Does this sounds high end? Think again!!!

We sat down and ordered sushi from here my kids were still hungry so we asked to order additional sushi at 9:20pm and although the restaurant closes at 10:00 pm and was told they were closed. The excuse that was given was they were busy with delivery. Very disappointing and ruined a nice evening out as my kids left hungry. :-(
A very good sushi bar in the middle of the mall. Fresh, delicious. They special rolls are really good!
A chain of sushi restaurants. Located all over Israel. This one, in hertzilya is quite large, they have good seating facility. The food is Asian and the variety is pretty nice. They also have vegan options which is really good. Good to sit for a quiet dinner with friends and family
