Nice, modern shopping mall in the center of Funchal.
I don't like this mall. I know Ikea is next door and Leroy Merlin is nearby but I'm not crazy about those places either and don't get all the hype. They're all huge and frantic places and you're lucky to walk out of any of them with what you needed.
For those seeking a shopping mall where to walk, shop and eat, this is yet another possibility in Porto. Although there Aren't any metro stations nearby, the bus stop for buses 124, 507, 508 is right next to the mall. The mall is pet friendly. Check regulations.
5 star for the guy sitting at the enquiry desk, he was so helpful and knows everything.
I know others. But I think it's very good for me. It's easy and simple to buy anything similar than anywhere else.
Expected a bit more. But local lifestyle and business needs is different and nobody to blame.
I’m sorry but the Minha Casa cafe is far from good in its service to older people. I saw a 70yr old woman who had walked from the botanic gardens in the rain, and drenched have to wait for a table of 8 men and several other customers who arrived after her to be served. She ended up walking out. It was a disgrace and I won’t go there and suggest you don’t go there unless the cafe issue an apology for their behaviour to older women. Shame on you.
I will never buy Lego ever again. I bought a Lego Creator 3 in 1 (bird - frog - fish) and there were several pieces missing :( I did not complain in the Marshopping Toysurus store. But I won't ever buy it again

This is a decent sized mall. Ikea takes up a large corner area. There is a supermarket inside as well as a food court, jewelry stores, shoe stores and intimate wear.
The operating hours are pretty late. Most shops are open until 10 pm.
Across the parking lot, two buses are available the 601 and the 507.

Not a lot of stores. BIG Lefties which is a plus. Free parking and nice cinema.
It was awesome place for shopping and chill. It's not that crowded, I've been there many times but it's clean, cosy, everything in one place.

MINHA CASA - don't go to have food. Biggest rip off we've ever had for a breakfast. 16€ each!!!! Lol we should have asked if they were joking. 2 eggs 2 bacon 3 slices of tomato 3 slices of cheese, all small and cheap..plus bread no butter, instant coffee. Should have taken a pic. Supermarket full of junkies, toilets like something out of a horror movie.

This is a beautiful mall. there is a usual food court there but there is a big space to sit. there are a lot of good chairs in there
The one star I give is only for the decent stores inside. The reason why I don't give more is because of the garage. When we already paid for the ticket, we misjudged it and needed to go back. Unfortunately, the machine already registered that we went out, and we were unable to reuse the ticket. This wouldn't normally be a problem, as there was an info booth right next to the exit. However there was nobody there and we wasted some half an hour waiting for someone to come. I do not recommend visiting.

It's ok, some nice things to see
A small local mall with a few anchor stores - nicely laid out with a large Pingo. Great chocolate/coffee store with amazing chocolates. Mall was spoiled by allowing smokers to sit and chain smoke at a cafe ruining our experience.

É um prazer enorme falar da Galeria Via Veneto. É um sítio tranquilo, com pessoas alegres, simpáticas. Gosto muito de lá estar. Recomendo com certeza. E agradeço à toodas as pessoas que lá estão a trabalhar.
The Marina shopping center lacks a diverse range of stores and appears neglected and somewhat abandoned. Despite its prime location, the overall upkeep is subpar. Bus stops are conveniently located at the entrance, and taxis are readily available near the garden.
The mall is clean but lacks vitality, with no ambient music.

A very modern mall. There are many different shops inside with mostly all the brands. It contains cloths to food shops. Huge parking place is avilable, you can reach it by your own car or by public transport.

Great mall. Nice selection of clean stores. Big plus is it is pet friendly but it doesn't help if you can't visit most of the shops. I understand food vendors. But yeah. Nice mall near the sea.
Nice little shopping centre close to my hotel. Good shops, and choice of places to eat and drink. Also has a cinema on site. It's situated a couple of miles from Central Funchal, but bus routes 1 and 2 stop right outside the main entrance. Worth a visit.
Funchal allows indoor smoking. If, like me, the smell of cigarettes makes you nauseated, this is not the place for you. Prices are high. The McDonalds screwed up my wife's coffee order. Watch out for the taxis. They're supposed to be regulated but one charged double the others.
There are several restaurants and bars in this center, including a Chinease restaurant with a very nice roof terrace on the 5th floor. View of the castle.

Lovely studio in the hotel, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Warm outdoor pool, even warmer small indoor pool. Sauna, Turkish and, roman hot rooms and jacuzzi.

I have been here last year in May 2022, and I was here again in February, 2023. There was no much different since my last visit in Funchal, Madeira.
Pros:
1. The location is great because it is in the city center near the port.
2. Some stores are still open here. You can enter and check.

1. The building is outdated. They need to attract more shops to come and fill the empty spaces.

Small. Old. However, it's clean and well maintained. Well located. Good coffee shop and the best dentist office I've met (and I've been to a lot in my life). Cuban lady doctor there, she's really good and fairly priced. Try it.

The only issue seems to be the four automated coffee machines at breakfast have a lot of guests queuing.

A good variety of good brands with significant price reduction. A good environment for shopping, depending time with friends and family. Kids friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Include public free parking, bathrooms , food corte.
You need to take another cable car and therefore pay more to go to the botanical Gardens.
I thought circa £40 a person was overpriced. Good views but also big queues so buy tickets further up the Marina to avoid queuing

I took a look inside , basic mall with some clothing stores, I didn't see much more though. There are some stores either side of it as well, so it's worth checking out.

Amazing outlet Center. With really outlet price. Watch out that not all the stores are outlet. Double check on the front of the store or on the website of Strada outlet. Access via Uber. Transportation is not so easy to get there. But worth it. 4€ bra intimissimi instead of 50€. 55€ coat Mango instead of 100€, pullover 20€ instead of 40€. I double check website to be sure of original price and no scam. Tiberland outlet, Parfum very interesting prices, and when you buy there the next day you have 10% of your buy on credit for something else. Small gallery, but easily done and good prices. Kiko outlet is mainly bigger space for reduced products but the same price for the classics. Not worth it. Mango outlet worth it, Sacoor worth it (shirt from 99€ to 44€), intimissimi and Calzedonia worth it, Parfum worth it (-35%), seaside good prices…

We came recommended by the staff at our hotel when we asked them for places with gluten free option. We were delighted by the quality of the food, all the gluten-free options and the nice and knowledgeable staff.
Monumental Experience: This place is found with Four Views Hotel and is a shopping centre which offers amazing amount of services: Such as Spar Shop, Newsagent, Jewellers, Souvenir shop, Car Rentals, Tours of the Island, Launderettes - self service and paid, dry cleaners, Hairdressers, and beauty salon offering tanning! Restaurants here are snack bar, Sushi and a rather upmarket one which is rather lavish and unusual called Mad Moments which should be in a more open location as it is beautifully crafted. Go along and look for yourself amd see what this place contains

Good place, COVID test are free in the Central Park. Little bit crowded area, many restaurants and shops, also underground metro station area many types shops including garments, households, mobile etc. Nice market, one must bargain during purchase.

There's a bar at 6th floor, amazing view, cool service (really nice staff), cool drink and there are available machine to play (like mortal kombat)

It’s a very good Souvenir Shop. All the things are good and nice. It’s a shop of cheap of cost. The owner is very friendly and good behavior. The decorations of the shop is nice! The products you will find easily. If you are thirsty you can get different kinds of juice and water here. There are almost all kinds of wine you buy from it. Cigarettes are also available here. Have a nice shopping !!

Overall is a great place, lacking a few stores but nothing out of the expected. Totally recommend :)

Great place to visit and wonder around all the shops. The painted doors were fabulous ❤
Unusual place top of a car park great views take the lift to the top floor great food and drinks very friendly staff we went during the day plenty of space not over crowded. Spoke with staff if you like the night life vibe this will DEFO the place to go of an evening

Beautiful and very clean shopping mall with all kind of stores. My favorite is ZARA, Bershka and Stradivarius. There is a food court with different kind of food to choose between and there is also McDonald’s. Why I like this shopping mall is because it’s open which means that you are not locked inside a big place like a normal shopping mall. You don’t have a roof on the same way as the other malls. It makes if more flexible and nice.

This small shopping mall seems to have been built too late, particularly in a time when shopping centres have been increasing in size, it also lacks easily recognizable commercial chains. It kind of feels abandoned.
