Best Beer stores in United States

Twice I got delivery from this store and it was NO PROBLEM... I've tried FOUR or FIVE times since including two minutes ago and I've been told various bizarre reasons why they CANNOT deliver... once I was told guys is out making deliveries so it would be a few hours; I said that's no problem, and he started stuttering and said I have to call 24 hours in advance; because most people call to have liquor delivered for the next day... NEVER!!! I'm not calling 20 minutes before they close, I've always called at lest 5-6 hours before closing. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO DELIVERY THEN DON'T OFFER DELIVERY! It's just ODD that the first two times it was so easy... now it's harder than getting an audience with the POPE! I like to support local businesses but there needs be some reciprocity... like honoring the services that you advertise on your website!

This has been our favorite restaurant in Tahoe! We haven’t been back for years but it still tastes as good as we had remembered. Love the thin crispy crust, variety of tasty and unique flavors, and most impressive of all… they bake fresh by slice! Staff was amazing and ice cream was delicious, too!

Nice place great food. So over priced. You need 3x's the money as wamart. The Bogos actual get you to the normal price of decent stores. Don't waste your money on this name only store.

The pizza here is absolutely amazing! I came from NYC with my husband and toddler to enjoy Lake Tahoe and we were amazed with how freaking good the pizza was. Literally got it two out of the three nights we were in town. Highly recommend and add that hot
honey to it too, out of this world. Thin pizza, yummy sauce, and great crust too!

This CVS location is overall okay, not the best location that I've been to. The service is generally lacking and disappointing as I waste a lot of time waiting for an associate.

Been coming here for over 10 years. Lots of great things that are very hard to find elsewhere. Good people.

One of the our best neighbourhood bar finds! Great selection of craft beer, delicious sandwiches and pretzel and super cosy setting.

This is one of THE worst pharmacies on the island. Had me waiting an hour and a half just to leave out one of my prescriptions. Also neglected to tell me they were out of a medication. “They just didnt fill it”

Not good. Organized badly and no real flow. They put stands with product in the aisles which causes cart traffic jams. I was there early in New Year so maybe it's better routinely.

We love our Edgewater Publix. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen empty shelves. Store is always clean and employees very friendly and helpful. I’ve been shopping here for over 20 years. I do not want to forget the pharmacy. They are absolutely awesome.

Super cozy, unpretentious spot. Reminds me of pubs in England where people just get together to chill, maybe have a pint. They only serve beer and wine which is great for the atmosphere. Lots of board games, had fun playing and taking it easy.

I highly recommend stopping in here if you haven't already. They've got the biggest and best selection in town, easily. A ton of local beers, meads, ciders, wines, and even non-alcoholic beers for you to choose from. They also stock plenty of out of state and imported beers.

The friendly staff will always have multiple suggestions for you if you need help making a decision. You can also buy single cans of beers you just want to try without investing in an entire four pack. On top of all that, they've got a rewards program. Awesome.

This is my usual Publix to shop at due to its close proximity to my home, but I find the prices to be somewhat higher. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and helpful. I find they seldom are out of items I'm looking for.

Good small town grocery store. Only place in town to buy fresh meat and liquor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff!

The head pharmacist at the 2690 Hylan Blvd store is dumb as a rock. I came in with a problem about a refill and she tells me she needs to order it. I waited and waited and came in and she tells me "oh, we can't get it anymore" - So why the hell did you tell me you could order it? You put my life in danger when I could have got the meds from another pharmacy. No apology or anything. If you ever get a prescription sent to this pharmacy, run!! This woman is BRAINDEAD.

One of the best pizzas I've had in Cali!!! Make sure to call ahead and order if you are in a rush, but honestly worth the wait. They run out of some items, but that is because everything is prepared fresh daily. Just awesome place!

Pharmacy is a farce.The rest of the store is slightly better.Prices are high,except for the occasional sale after a holiday.Good luck waiting for a locked up item,due to shoplifters.As with many chain stores ,if you need an item ,and have checked other places without success,then you'd give it a try.

Rude, lazy @ss workers. Amadis is her name,, rolled her eyes and wouldn't speak to me because I'm white, but she was so very friendly to the Spanish lady before me. Also the 7 ft black guy at the deli stared at me for 5 minutes before he would help me. I've never been to such a Publix where everyone had chip on their shoulder. I won't be back. I may call corporate on this one.

Really enjoyed spending a few hours here. It is a small venue but cozy and comfortable. Beer was reasonably priced for Manhattan.

This Publix is conveniently located on the east side of i-95, and it is on Southern Blvd that heads directly on to the island of Palm Beach. However I have noticed that the employees in the deli intentionally move slow when they're tending to customers. They snack section by the subs (like where you get your banana pudding, juice, and cheese with crackers) is never stocked either. They should keep in mind how important this location is and the amount of traffic that comes through. I had a hiccup with a lady at the bakery because she was not patient as I looked for a cake. I was livid because she spun around and she didn't hide her, "I don't have time for your $h!+ attitude". I kept my composure I politely thanked the other bakery lady for offering her help and for being patient by performing excellent customer service. I left to another and purchased a cake elsewhere. The food here is always fresh and it's my go to because it's my exit off 95 from work. The customer service in the deli and bakery needs improved though.

Love this Publix. The staff is always ready with a friendly greeting and smile. Shelves are stocked nicely. Meat is fresh and not picked through. Produce is all fresh and stocked.

The most stupidest thing when the WHOLE pharmacy closes for a half and hour. So many useless employees that apparently have to take lunch at the same time. The worst time management I have ever seen.

I truly love the seating outside in the back patio. The music inside the bar can be a little too loud sometimes. The staff can be hit or miss. The food is pretty good. Try the grilled cheese with fig; it's delicious! They also offer a decent selection of NA beers which is amazing! I no longer drink alcohol so this is a plus for any beer hall/establishment!

Sometimes it's hard to find an employee if you need help. Also, they are usually out of a lot more than the other Publixes around. Some of the deli employees,will wait 5 min before seeing what you need. Overall decent store...

Hell yeah! I love this place! Great beer bar with excellent food and service. As a parent (and this is relatively family friendly in the early hours), the access is difficult - I feel like people with disabilities would also be challenged. They could be more proactive in helping on this end. Only reason for the knock on atmosphere.

Outstanding steak and fixings again from the Detour Passage Market. They cut their own meat in house and you will not find any better. If you like burgers you will fall in love with the burger it's not very often you have only burger in the pan without needing to drain off the grease and the best on the grill.Yes it is a small town local market and they have the Dollar General to compete with as more small towns have now days but they have a good selection of items you need. The service is great and I don't go anywhere but here they have what I need.

Customer service is so bad.! They are not the publix they use to be. They use to care their employees are as rude as Winn Dixie. If I'm going to be treated this way my as well go there. Publix is a major dispointment. Now You have definitely fell from grace publix. Get it together!

The best place I've found that has such a broad variety of local brews. Staff is super helpful finding something to suit your tastes.

I don't think I've ever been disappointed in a Publix grocery store.

The stores are always clean. The staff is always friend late. They even take your groceries out to the car for you if you need help and then refuse to accept a tip.

I think that they have just about the best bakery around. I will often go out of my way to pick up some fresh bread at Publix rather than get something run of the mill from another grocery store.

I think that their fruit and produce is better than much of their competition

Popped in here to grab some deli sandwiches but the cooler had been running warm. The owner greeted us and offered to make fresh sandwiches, we ended up getting some snacks and chatting with her for a little bit. It’s a great store and despite being in a touristy area was super reasonably priced- the meat is butchered there and looked gorgeous. They have all of the staples you’d need and you’re supporting a truly local business. It’s a shame a Dollar General was built next door.
This place will be our go-to for food in future trips.

Just to pickup 2 photo prints they make you wait in regular line for purchases which has usually 10-15 people on any given day which takes forever because they are always short staffed!
And nasty employees!

The staff and especially the owner are all very friendly and personable. They make newcomers to DeTour like myself feel very comfortable. Sometimes they don't have what I need and I wish their produce section was better but I always shop here first.

The first time I got medicine here, this person greeted me. He spoke in a deadpan manner, looked unhappy, and was very rude. And I haven’t received the medicine after waiting for an hour. It’s really rubbish.

Great place when you need to grab something for dinner really quick. 😋 The store is smaller so it's not loaded down with a bunch of super extra stuff, so if your looking for something really exotic (food wise) your chances to find it here are kinda slim. But I do end up here multiple times a week. :)

Excellent selection of beer, whisky, and spirits. Wide variety of vermouth and amari, too. Prices comparable to other local shops, with some deals hidden amidst the stock.

We got married at a private residence in Edgewater, FL and ordered a custom cake from Publix bakery at Edgewater, since it was nearby. The cake was delicious but also beautiful! I knew I wanted all white and the team used my inspiration pictures to create a concept within our budget. Highly recommend. Thank you.

I always make an effort to stop by Mountain slice when im in the area, even if I have to drive half way around the lake.

It's a small pizza shop with a great atmosphere and even better pizza. I highly recommend treating yourself to a slice or even a whole pizza from here.

Such a cozy welcoming down to earth spot with an amazing beer selection, and crazy good simple eats! Sit at the bar to chat with the bartenders, or grab a table close to the entrance garage door that’s fully open during the summer. This is going to be a new regular spot for me, where I bet you’ll get to meet the other regulars.

They have a nice selection of wines, spirits, nice beers, cheeses, and chocolates. Friendly staff with good recommendations (I love the Albariño they recommended for pairing with chicken marbella).

They also recently started stocking my favorite chocolate, Firetree, and I hope more people try it and love it as much as I do.

I love the deli food and sandwiches, but this location is so slow. There are usually 4-5 staff behind the counter, and usually only one of them is actually working. I feel bad for the hardworking staff member who has to do everything while the other 4 just putz around. This is not just the observation from one visit, this is what I have seen consistently for over 1 year.

Simply the best. Lovely and expansive selection in all drink categories. Always has a wonderful selection of wines at all price ranges with one of the best sub $25 selections I've found around town.

I use to work at this CVS when I use to have a summer job in 2014 and the staff treated us very nice. I sometimes browse and shop and they helped me out when I need something.

good facility, customer service is not so good in checkout and higher ups. i've been shopping here for over 2 yrs and spent 1000$s here and still have to deal with really strange antisocial behavior from dysfunctional employees. could be a much better experience for customers with better management no doubt.

Disrespectful, lack of knowledge to the rights of disabled individuals needing the assistance of a service animal. Even after informing him of our needs he would not allow us to shop. It is purely the lack of education and fear of the Health Department which should help educate businesses on service animals.

I appreciate your response however the young man was informed that she had a tag on, it was also visable on her harness. Our residence is in Hawaii and to hot for her to wear a vest. He informed me it did not matter and made no effort to validate. Anyway please do education and have them ask for more information. Businesses can ask 2 questions: Is the dog a service animal? What does she do for you? There ar different types of services they can provide, it's not always obvious.

Excellent beer selection! And very friendly bartenders, who let you taste before getting a pint. And the food is really tasty - I've tried a couple grilled cheese-style toast sandwiches. The only negatives I can think of.. sometimes gets kinda loud, and the taps can be IPA heavy (but that's not really a negative)

We used the DeTour Passage Market a lot while staying locally to buy food and drinks. The customer service was perfect! Only giving them 4 stars because we bought beer and realized it was expired when we got home.

Fantastic selection of mead, cider and beer available in singles or whole 4/6 packs. Staff was super knowledgeable and helpful in finding local beers I hadn't heard of. As a bottle shop (Beer Bazaar) owner myself, I was very happy with the experience.

Excellent NY pizza! We grabbed a 20” cheese after our sailboat cruise and it was amazing! Super friendly guys and funky little spot. I do recommend going in earlier in the day and pre-ordering if you know you want a pizza for dinner so you can make sure you get one! Ice cream is also super delicious!

This is a nice store with plenty of alcohol and gifts to buy for memories of Big Sky Montana.

It is a good Russian Uzbek market. I liked it. I got some food items that I would usually get back home in Russia, which was very nice. I recommend it to anybody who’s from Russia, Uzbekistan or anyone really who’s interested in trying new foods.

This place is a great quick grab for lunch or dinner, we got here right at open and ordered a whole pizza for our group and it was out of the oven and ready in less than 10 minutes! The guy that helped us was awesome and super nice also!
They have whole pizza and by the slice options depending on what your looking for (if you have a party of 4 or more you can't order by the slice, but they have an option for 1/2 and 1/2 toppings.)

Super cool vibe. 20 beers on tap, dozens more cans. The havarti/fig jam grilled cheese hit the spot. Worth a stop off while in Brooklyn.

I don't know what these bad reviews on here talking about, but the prices are on point! I have never felt like I overpaid on these pizzas, because the quality of the ingredients justified it for me.

Maybe some of these people reviewing should make a sandwich and call it a day if that's how cheap they want to be because, $29 for a 20" pizza plus tax ain't bad at all you'll definitely have leftovers and it won't be bad later when you try to eat it cold because let's be real, you'll want to heat it up in the microwave, but when pizza has fresh ingredients like what they roll out everyday here, it's pretty tough to wait on the microwave when you know it'll taste just as delicious as it was when it was hot.

Front Street station Pizza definitely can't say that. Nor can the other Pizza establishments surrounding the Tahoe City area. I'm sorry, this is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way but za's ain't it 🤷‍♂️🙅‍♂️ ... If you want to feel like you got the bang for your buck, and something delicious worthy of your money, don't go anywhere else, make the smart choice and take yourself here. You won't be disappointed...

Unless you're a cheapskate, Then in that case no one can help you, or meet your needs. I said what I said. And I stand by everyone else who agrees, including the owner when I say this is THE BEST pizza spot in all of Tahoe.

The best slices you’re going to have in Tahoe City came in. Connor was great right off the bat said what would you like? He said dealers choice I said yes he serve me one of the tastiest slices. I’ve had all day come in and try it The sweet pig had bacon pepperoni honey. It was tart it was savory. It was delicious guys come in and try it.

The store has a fantastic selection and is reasonably priced. The staff are excellent and even went out of their way to special order a cheese for me. I didn't know until today, but they do Wine and Cheese tasting Fridays 5-7. I met super friendly people and it honestly felt like a community staple I was missing since moving to Davis Square area.

A well stocked liquor store. They had a cigar humidor and variety of souvenirs. The staff is friendly. The store is very clean and parking was convenient. We ordered our liquor in advance.

We stopped here on our way home from Yellowstone. It is a unique store with a great selection of souvenirs, greeting cards and wines. Had a lot of fun browsing and choosing gifts from our time in Montana!

Amazing selection. My go to place for the best cocktail spirits. Fantastic local beer case. Great mixers . Great cheeses and specialty chocolate and candy too. Lately I've been getting my Turkish delight here.

I visit DeTour every year and always make it a point to shop at DeTour Passage. The owner Karen and all her staff treat myself and all who shop there with old school hospitality that has been forgotten. Detour Passage Grocery Store has a good selection of everyday items, and a meat department that has a great selection of the best steaks in the area. They also have a fully stocked beer and liquor section as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. If you make it to Detour stop in and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did.

Came here on a lovely Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t as packed. The beer & cider selections are impeccable, both on tap and in cans. I had the St. Ambrose with a hint of mango and jalapeño. I also had the peach beer. Yum!
Get the grilled cheese especially the fig & arugula. Will definitely come back.

I love this place. I am a vegetarian and alot of places don't consider that us vegetarian eat more than lettuce.
At Monde it take out with deli sandwiches a corner store feel and if you want a beer with your sandwiches they have a large selection with cool names.
You order on one of those tablets and then pay and wait for your over flowing sandwiches. I get a plant based turkey hoagie with hot pepper seeds and I swear I'm eating a Italian hoagie.
THEIR sandwich is so good I can't stop eating them. 💜

I've lived across the street from this place for 3 years and for 3 years I've been blessed with amazing service, great hoagies, and convenient access to a wide selection of beers and other crafts. However, it's the staff here that makes this place stand apart from the rest. They're very kind, easy to talk to, and good natured people. Every time I walked into their store, I was met with a smile and a greeting. While I'm excited to move to my new neighborhood, I'm going to miss having Monde Market in my life!

I love this place. They have great choices of beer at reasonable price. I just wish they open until a little later than 10pm on Fridays or weekends.. Craving some beer now and it's now past 10pm and they are closed! :'(

They have vegetarian meat options and that really makes them stand out. The service is always fast and the food is always good. Plus, they have a pretty large selection of beers and coolers. A perfect little neighborhood spot.

Rus Uz Arlington Market is definitely one of my favorite markets in the area. Especially the cashier lady is very friendly and knowledgeable. She always helps me to find the items that I need. If you are a Russian speaker, she can speak Russian very well 😊

I don't think I could have gotten through the past year without Monde. The staff are so helpful and kind, the store is so clean and well stocked, and their beer selection is unreal (also, they mostly sell singles!) They have delicious and affordable hoagies as well as every household item I've ever run out of last-minute. Thanks for everything y'all do! If there were a fan club, I would run for VP.

Absolutely zero service, and zero respect to a customer! Entered the store at 8:46PM (announced closing time is 9:00 PM) on a heavily rainy day, and cashier telling me that the store is closed, because she closed the cash register.

Not a huge store but an incredible selection! Lots of local spirits, but they also had an Irish Whisky I haven't been able to find in the states for years. The staff was helpful and friendly.

This market is a perfect place for European products worldwide in having an opportunity to take advantage of special quality of service. They got many cool stuff to shop along. It's a friendly place to spend time there. The sales women is friendly in customer service. What a bonus to be there.

The restaurant is a great place to go with family or friends when nostalgic about food back home in Tajikistan (since the food and souvenirs are the same as in Uzbekistan) or just to treat friends when lazy to cook because the food and service is excellent! The market is a great place to shop for my favorite food products (eggplant preserves, mushrooms, pel'meni, caviar, fish, honey-cake, etc....) or excellent place to buy souvenirs to buy as a gift to your friends. Brings back good child/adulthood memories and it makes me feel at home.

It was my first time there. I was amazed at the selection of beers especially Maine beers but I have to admit (and I don't blame the Bier Cellar) that I can't believe they want $18 for a four pack of cans. It makes me incredulous I think, or at least a bit more jaded. I felt like I lost just a little bit of innocence that day. Anyway, I was forced by inclination to head to the rums where I bumped into an amazing employee/owner? I don't know, I didn't bring my good glasses so I couldn't read his name tag. I told him I was looking for Jamaican rum and he proceeded to point out five or six spread out through the whole aisle. This person (notice I didn't say "man")was extremely knowledgeable and I will be back. Oh, yes I will be back.

A must visit place if you are in Portland and are in hurry or not. They have the pulse on local brews. The staff is really helpful and the collection of beers is astounding.
You will find beers from all the local breweries and some of them are hidden gems. And the best part is you can mix and match your beers!

If you want to experience Russian culture go to this market and you will find so many different types of treats. If you grew up in russia you will be really nostalgic and will find many familiar stuff in store such as chocolate and bunch of other snacks and products.

Extremely knowledgeable staff and very helpful. Definitely a one stop shop for anything local in Maine amongst there brewing scene. I easily spent over $150 within five minutes as they quickly knew exactly where to find their selections. Things they didn't have they had an actual schedule for when they where expecting a delivery or tentative arrival.

If you're looking for something particular and ask them nicely there is a strong chance they will be able to hold things for you as well!

Their selections of beer each have a very descriptive card accompanying. This includes a flavor index, their personal thoughts and tastes, and many other useful information.

Seriously if you're looking for a great selection of beer pop in and you won't be disappointed!

I love Monde. Fantastic selection of beers. Probably the best in the Rittenhouse/Center City area. Craft, imported, domestic, pretty much whatever you like in pints, mix and match six packs, even some 12 packs. Decent prices for the area, too.

They also have a great menu of deli sandwiches with good prices. Perfect for that Friday night when you're on your way home from work and just want to relax with a beer and a sandwich to start your weekend.

This has been one of my more intersring reviews on Publix in comparison to others. Upon walking inside the doors of Publix what seemed like a smiling group of Publix associates were all just walking out of the store, including managers. I glanced behind me towards the parking lot and saw all of the associated, managers included, proceed to go and collect every shopping cart that was in the parking lot. I think it's great management to let your employees know that there isn't a job they would ask them to do if they themselves wouldn't do it. I took a few pictures of some department areas and wrote exstensive notes while shopping. Oh btw within 60 seconds of being inside the store we were greeted by a manager who asked if he could help us, we declined, and off I went to take pics and notes. Everything was great particularly the deli which looked very clean. The bathrooms unfortunately were not clean which is why this store didn't earn 5 star review. This is where things get interesting, a manager named Charles politely approached me, asked if he could help and then told me not to take any more photos of the store. I was slightly embarrassed as others could hear but that was it and the pics stopped. Then we started noticing Charles behind us, arms crossed, with a large frown on his face. After following us a few aisles I walked up to ask him why was he doing so. He responded by saying he was making sure I was no longer taking pics of the store. I explained to him that since he had already asked me not to that I had stopped. I then take my phone and notes out to let him know that I'm a very regular user of Google maps review and that I had earned a relatively high ranking within the local community. I then show him the notes I had taken so far which were filled with comoliments about the store. He seemed to cool down after understanding my motive for the pics but again asked that I stop taking any ubtil I get approval from corporate. I agreed shook his hand, paid for my items and left promising myself not to let this confrontation have an effect on my overall score. It didn't, this store was very clean and well-maintained, except for the bathrooms weren't clean. (I will post an update if Iearn more about this "photo" rule)

We live just down the street from the Publix at 828 Southern in West Palm Beach... we've shopped at Publix since we moved to the area over 30 years ago, spent thousands at the stores...and this is the first time I've written a complaint, until November 24 about my experience just a half hour before store closing.

I have a number of items I buy that I recognize come up on "buy one get one" every few weeks. I thought the Gorton's fish had again come up again so I grabbed a couple packages. After checking my receipt I saw I didn't get the pricing so I walked back into the store and back to the freezer cases where I saw the big BOGO stickers for frozen shrimp placed on the shelves that had the fish fillets I wanted. Note The pictures below. While there were signs on the shrimp, they were also placed on the fish nowhere close to the shrimp.

I want back up to the front of the store and captured the closing manager's attention and said I would be returning the fish because the signs misled me. She said curtly, "You just go over there and return them, we've had complaints already on that today."

I've been shopping at that store for over 10 years probably 2 to 3 times a week. I didn't see any reason to be treated any way but with courtesy given the error was understandable on my part.

First, if she knew there were signs misplaced It would have taken her all of about 90 seconds to remedy it.
Secondly, she said the signs are right next to the shrimp, when there were no shrimp on the shelf that was signed. So she was placing the blame on the customer there.
Thirdly, the customer isn't always right, but courtesy and an apology is never a bad first step.

My wife has been doing most of her shopping at Aldi lately, just because the prices are so competitive there. I've had children that worked at Publix. I worked with Publix as a contractor for a number of years. I have estolled the virtues of Publix, including their focus on customer service, product quality, and store cleanliness. I have given nothing but five-star reviews of Publix stores on Google maps (until today), and many of my postings are featured on Google.

Courtesy and customer service are the only things that will be keeping Publix as a market leader in an uber-competitive low margin industry.

I sincerely hope they don't set customer service and courtesy aside.

On another note I did receive my refund for the two packages of fish. I did not expect the price guarantee to apply since the signage did have the other item on it, but in the past when a similar error happened other managers have comped the items. I did expect a level of courtesy I did not experience.

This is the Publix closest to my home and it has pretty much everything we need in the grocery and pharmacy side, even though it's one of the smaller Publix. Bakery, produce, and meat department are all good. Prices at the pharmacy are better than any other place I found in the region.

hands down one of the best delis. Great sandwiches, Great Staff, Great beer, Great specialty items that you wont typically find at other stores. Place is simply Great.

Update oct 2022, still one of the best markets around. If you live close by, stop in. Not only a great deli, but an awesome beer selection as well.
