Pretty place in the middle of what we used to call " no man's land". However, if you're not on foot or horseback you can forget about it. Parking is NOT available and that takes away from it. Would I rent an event here, unfortunately not mostly due to location location location.
We recently photographed a wedding here, and have done so many times, so we figured it was time for a glowing review. The charm of this venue is undeniable. Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.
We used the 101 for our 10 year anniversary celebration and everything went so smoothly! The space was perfect for a big cocktail party and it didn't feel overly crowded. Allison and Emily are always professional, and available to answer questions. They were instrumental in the success of our event and we are so happy we chose the 101 for our celebration! <3
Being in the industry, we work with a lot of professionals, but working with Birch at a recent event truly was such a pleasure. The attention to detail displayed by the Birch team was exceptional – from the exquisite decor to the flawless execution of every aspect. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the genuine kindness and talent of every person on the Birch team. We love what we do, but getting to collaborate with other professionals who not only excel in their craft but also bring a warmth to the working relationship is when it gets really great. Cannot recommend the Birch team enough.
Great venue! Went there to photograph a Fashion designer show by my friend, for his brand Saziru. Spacious and in a good prime location downtown.
eXplore Brown County is a wonderful place to host a fall wedding! I got married on October, 27, 2023 in their Gallery (aka Harvest Hall), and it was amazing! The venue was the perfect size for around 100 people, and it's unique design allowed us to have plenty of tables for food, a dance floor, and games in their upstairs loft. The staff were wonderful to work with--they answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were super helpful when we realized we'd need extra time for clean-up.
I got take out from there tonight, I didn’t check it until I got home, it was not right, but mistakes happen, no big deal. I called back to see if I could get what I ordered and how John, the manager, handled it went above and beyond. I’ve got to mention that Sophie was so sweet and with employees like these two I am definitely making this my go to restaurant and will make sure that I spread the word too!
I camped here for a weekend with my small group. We had a group site, and 2 smaller sites to accommodate our group size. We had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed tent camping here. There were fairly well maintained trailer bathrooms just a minute walk from our camp site. I appreciated how quiet the campsite was in general. We are used to being shoulder to shoulder with other campsites, and the weekend we camped was not too busy. The location was wonderful - in the middle of hiking trails and a 15 minute drive to Nashville. In general I think the service for the bathrooms could be improved. The bathrooms ran out of paper towels. The bathrooms with showers could use more frequent cleaning as well. The floor of the shower I used was sinking in and I was actually nervous the floor was going to break. So I would recommend a little more attentiveness to the bathrooms. All in all, we really enjoyed our time here and will likely be back next year!

We had our wedding reception here in September and The 101 truly exceeded our expectations. We opted for the partial planning wedding package and Alison was our wedding planner. She did a great job, was a pleasure to work with, she was super communicative and made sure everything was done with all vendors and coordination. Not to mention The 101 team made the venue look incredible. The only thing I would change is that I would have done the entire planning package because our experience was so great-it is totally worth it.
The venue is beautiful and spacious. It's also in a perfect area for taking wedding photos. The rental also comes with table and chairs. We decided to add the photo both last minute and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the reception. We had a great experience with The 101.

We cannot say enough great things about working with the 101 for our wedding last weekend!! Everyone involved was so lovely to work with and we especially appreciate Alison's help with coordinating the event. She did such an amazing job bringing everything together for us and I'm so glad to have chosen their venue! Such a gem in Pioneer Square and would recommend to anyone :)

My grandson and I did the Premiere tour with Riley and Amanda Jo. This was our first time zip lining, and side note... I'm terrified of heights. I was little unnerved the first couple zips, but the safety measures and the guides were reassuring. By the last zip I was flying hands-free 😁 My grandson, well he did the trust fall, and the lean outs and everything (its good to be 10 😄). I would definitely recommend Explore Brown County. So much to do and so much fun.
I walked in looking to place an order to go. I was given a menu to look at and asked the hostess a question about the shrimp. She had to get the cook because she didn't know the answer. I ended up ordering the Haddock nuggets and shrimp combo. It took awhile even though the place wasn't busy at all. I enjoyed the haddock nuggets which were lightly battered. The shrimp was ok. The fries, however, were not so good. Half of them weren't even cooked all the way and I couldn't eat them.

I recently hosted an art exhibition at The 101. The staff, Emily and Alison, were super friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommend.
This was my husband's and my first time ziplining. It was a lot of fun. The tour guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. We were their last tour of the day and it was just us, but they gave us the same quality spiel and took as much time with us as they would for a larger party. They took pictures of us on both their camera and our phones so as not to pressure us to buy pics but to give us the opportunity if we wanted. We will definitely visit this place again.
The venue was large with multiple areas for photos. The big tree is awesome. The reception hall is massive with a ton of space.
Awesome place to enjoy music festivals really small intimate venue with all the amenities of much bigger places, nice bathrooms with showers very clean. Lake in the back you can camp right by they have all types of camping from primitive to full hook-up rv and camper spots with dumpstation. Stage area was great food vendors were also awesome. And the hills of brown county make it just a really great vibe.
The space itself is spacious and pretty, but there is no parking at all if that’s important to you. The rental of the venue comes with tables and chairs, but there are a lot of different fees another downside is the list of vendors and staff are not super diverse which made it difficult to use their preferred vendors or staff because of certain cultural aspects although everyone at the 101 was friendly!
As a wedding DJ I see hundreds of venues. If you are lookin for a hip space in the city with LOTS of space I recommend this venue. I would recommend 32 uplights and 4 speakers to round out the sound. Anything less will look sparse. With the right dance lights and speakers this can make your dance party feel like a club

My husband and I got married at Cescaphe Ballroom. The venue is stunning and the food is delicious! We worked with Lilly and she made sure our wedding was executed perfectly. The Cescaphe team is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
Our server Jackson was amazing and on point! We were blown away by the quality of the food. We split a bunch of appetizers and they were fresh, tasty and all amazing. Lobster and burgers were great. Wish we were in maine for a few more days to come back. Highly recommend this place.
Every single dish that left the kitchen, from the appetizers to the main course to the dessert was phenomenal!!! Our server, Jackson, was absolutely amazing also. His service was fast, accurate and beyond our expectations. This place deserves more than just 5 stars!!! Across the board, it was a fantastic experience and a great way to end our Maine vacation!! We ❤️ the curds!!!
The food was AMAZING! Had robs chips with gouda and a potato skin flattie. Both are so good! I will definitely be coming back!!
As a wedding photographer I think my favorite thing about Sodo Park is that it is not only a beautiful venue on its own, but its proximity to other locations give couples the opportunity to have such a variety in their photos! The Herban Feast team is also so kind and wonderful at what they do. I loved every minute of my time at Sodo Park, it really is a gem!
After staying here twice with my camper, I can say it's a great little spot for relaxing. Tons of trails, great activities, and excellent service. I was able to get stable high-speed wireless internet from our campsite which is a huge plus when my wife or I are on call for work (not sure if it's just where we were staying or if it works throughout the campground so YMMV). If you come, bring a mountain bike - the trails are awesome!
Had the opportunity to take 20 kids down ... Some did paintball and others went on the zip lines. They had a great time with the guides. I had one that couldn't do either so we went on the ATV. It was awesome. Everyone had a great time. The guides were fantastic. They worked with us and accommodated our needs. Thank you for a great event

This place is pretty awesome. We got cabin 10 and it's got yogi bear charm. I'm currently sitting on the porch swing typing this review and my daughter is in a hammock.

Went July 4th 2022, Boat was overloaded, could barely move around. We paid more to be upstairs, everyone was upstairs with no chairs. Chaos ensued. All the young men acting as security really did their best but drunks are notoriously drunks. The food was disgusting. Cheap, badly cooked and barely edible. This was really expensive but no money was spent on it. The boat set itself up so that most of us on the top were blocked by the wheelhouse and could see the fireworks in the glass buildings better than ahead. Once the driver rotated the boat for a few minutes and we got a good view but right back again to block us. Nightmare! don't bother to pay, just walk to the waterfront and watch for free.

This place was good it was definitely packed for a Thursday! Food was delicious, the drinks were great. Apps were good, tasty, crunchy and crispy just like I love it!!!
Great venue. I was recently there to see Teatro Zinzanni. Really a large place, but they shoved too many people into it. I can see Sodo Park as a popular option for wedding receptions and the like. I hope that Teatro Zinzanni finds a differently permanent location, though.
Great food! Large portions! Great staff. The place does seem to be a little outdated as far as decor goes, but it's still nice. Very clean. I've note it's that the main entrance is in the rear of the building if you are facing it from the main road. There is no signage telling you to go around the back. Once we went in the back, there were no issues. They do have a side entrance right to the lounge on McDonald's side of the building.
Beautiful what Teatro has done with the place. The show was very good and the staff are absolutely amazing, service was far better than many of the upscale establishments across the city. If you have not yet enjoyed one of these shows, it's a great idea! We look forward to seeing them again, in this new location!
Not sure how I can even describe Moran's incredible work. She joined us a month before our company's event, when we had to switch our event planner, and absolutely saved me.
She was super professional and pleasant to work with, and made sure every small detail in our event was perfect. I can not recommend her enough and she will be the 1st phone call I'll make for our future events. Thank you Moran 🙏🙏🙏

We did the Halloween Cruise with the Live DJ, and it was a BLAST!!! Dancing the night away with the New York skyline backdrop was one of the best experiences of my life!
They stole my credit card info.
This cruise, not only was it not fun while actually on the cruise, as there were hardly any people on it and the music was so blaringly loud on the second floor that it was impossible to sit in the room for more than 15 minutes, but since I put in my credit card information to book the cruise, I have been having mysterious uber charges that I have not taken.
The dates of these charges coincide with the day that I booked this cruise. I am nearly positive that they stole my information and have been using it as their own personal valet service.
So to repeat, please please do not book this cruise. Even if you don't get your credit card info stolen, the cruise is not fun whatsoever.

Great food and friendly service. Try to avoid sitting in the booth unless there is nobody in the booth behind you as you will feel every shift they make. The steak sandwich is delicious and the fries are hand cut and plentiful. The beer cheese with the pretzels is not really good. The Mac and cheese leftover cheese was tastier to dip the pretzel bite than the cheese that came with the bites. Don't come here if you are in a hurry but do come if you have time to sit and enjoy.
Ceremonies at Cescaphe are the peak of romance. Capturing the intimate ceremony moments as they unfold in this gorgeous space is an artistic challenge I embrace.Staff creates stress-free and relaxed day for the couple starting from the moment they enter the venue. I really appreciate their attention to details and guests’ needs are taken care of at every turn of the day. If you want to the best, you choose Cescaphe!
What a wonderful evening! Halloween by candlelight! Music and ambiance were just wonderful. Fun event....will definitely do again. Christmas or Dianey or both. Highly recommended.
Lovely Events NYC planned our baby shower and it was absolutely perfect! Everything was taken care of from A to Z - the concept, the design, invitations (and invitation tracking) and the exaction of the event was faultless (from the food to the set up).
We had to change venues 3 times due to COVID and rain and Lovely Events were super responsive and flexible as they planned for every possible scenario.
My favorite part was the professional team - creative, tentative, high class problem-solvers.

A lovely and rustic venue! The food and service amazing!
Not sure if it was handicap accessible which would have difficult if my Dad who is in a wheelchair would have attended.

If you're considering Cescaphe Event Group as your wedding venue, planning + catering group, don't hesitate, just do it! As someone who has been to hundreds of weddings these guys have earned a spot amongst the best in Philadelphia. The ballroom is one of my favorite venues because the location is right outside of the city, but still close enough for all the fun that the city has to offer. The Ballroom seems to be on the smaller side but it can still hold a ton of people, and the flow of the events they hold is flawless. They're masters at "the flip" so you can do everything here from ceremony through the party at the end of the night. Fishtown offers tons of photo ops and the ballroom its self has tons of photo ops. It's also a short ride to the city if you envision yourself on Broad Street or at City hall for your photos. As photo + video vendors, the Cescaphe Event Group couldn't be more thoughtful and accommodating checking in with us prior to weddings to make sure we have a parking spot, and even opening their valet early to make sure our cars were nearby. I always have a good time with their planners and staff. Literally cannot say enough good things about Cescaphe & all of their venues!
Cescaphe Event Group is the best in the wedding industry! I’ve been a guest at most of their venues and every location is amazing and filled with a wonderful staff, so you can’t go wrong. Our wedding reception was at the Cescaphe Ballroom and it was an absolute dream. The venue is classic, beautiful and spacious with the best bridal suite. Dinner & dessert was magnificent but the cocktail hour (& a half) with endless food was the highlight that had people talking for weeks. The bar was top shelf and everyone had such an amazing time. We cannot thank Cescaphe & their staff enough for providing us with such a beautiful wedding reception and truly accommodating us from beginning to end.
It doesn't get better than Birch Event Design. They're so much fun to work with. They're an amazing team with awesome personalities and incredible talent and artistry. Birch did the design for our publicized wedding and turned our venues into an actual fairytale set. I wish those reading this review could see the expressions on my husband and my faces when we saw their work at our wedding for the first time! We were in complete and total awe. Birch does the highest quality work with the highest quality materials. They understand the image you have in your head and make it reality. We are so grateful we worked with Birch for our wedding. They helped create imagery that will be imprinted in our memories forever!
I am still dreaming about the flowers!! Josh and Allan were amazing to work with and pulled off such a beautiful wedding. They work diligently to make your vision come to life and take your feedback seriously! They really care about what they do and it really comes through in their work. Birch did an incredible job and we could not have asked for a better event designer.
Birch pulled off our dream wedding. I could tell my wife was stressed about the flowers and design before she met Josh and Allan, but once we hired them, she was visibly happier because we both knew they'd do a great job and they really did. Amazing job Birch!
The two best decisions I ever made were marrying my husband and hiring Birch to help create the moment I did. As someone in the event industry, I have high expectations and am particular when it comes to choosing vendors. But it was clear from the moment I met Josh and Allan that they were the team for me. The process was seamless from start to finish. They are transparent, genuine, and extremely passionate about their craft. If that’s not a winning combo than I don’t know what is. Wedding planning can be stressful, but these guys made it FUN. The intricate details and creative vision that Birch brought to life was out of this world. They are creative geniuses and went ABOVE & BEYOND every step of the way. Our guests were blown away - as were we. We’ve been receiving non stop calls, texts, emails from people - even those that didn’t attend. I can’t recommend them enough.
Can't say enough good things about Moran and her team! We've done a corporate event with them - Summer Picnic in Central Park - and it was PERFECT! Superb food, outdoor games, and everything we need in the highest level. From the moment we've met I knew I could trust her - and I was right. She knows what she's doing to the smallest details. We got amazing feedbacks from the team, and the event was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend working with Moran, I cant wait for our next event with her!

Nice venue to have your wedding or formal event. Cocktail room directly connected to the ballroom (just a few short steps up) and room is nicely laid out with a stage for a band or DJ to perform. Daniel was a great Maitre d' to work with and we look forward to performing there again soon!
Chelsea single-handedly ensured that my wedding got off without a hitch and remained hassle and stress-free throughout. Her team was absolutely fabulous, so kind, detailed-oriented, and they executed everything at the highest level. Admittedly, I hired Brilliant Event Planning at the 11th hour leading up to my wedding, right at the two month point when everything started to become overwhelming and all-consuming. Chelsea jumped right into action, handling most everything from that point forward. Hiring Brilliant Event Planning, and more specifically Chelsea and her team, was one of the best choices I made and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I found Birch Event Design on social media and hired them for my sons Bar Mitzvah. It was one of the best choices I could have made. My husband and I arranged a meeting at a new, last minute venue. From start to finish they were professional, very organized, and brimming with knowledge and great ideas. Josh took the lead, found us an outstanding caterer and handled every large and small detail to perfection. I am an interior designer and he listened to my ideas as well- then took whatever vision I had in mind and made it better.

We could not have been happier with our choice to hire Chelsea and Sarah. Though they were truly incredible in so many ways, the part that impressed us the most was their ability to make our wedding feel personal. Chelsea was able to distill our idiosyncrasies and interests into a wedding that was unique to us and our friends and families. Everyone (including my extremely hard to impress grandmother) left raving about how the wedding was perfect. We can't recommend Brilliant Events enough.
We just had our wedding last night 7.1.17 and we have loved working with everyone at SoDo Park from the beginning. Rosalyn was our venue coordinator and she was incredibly helpful and responsive, willing to answer any of our questions and help with everything we needed. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the wait staff were wonderful and our guests even commented on how nice they were, the food was delicious and we can't recommend them highly enough. We also went with their Herban Bloom and Design for flowers and décor and they did such a beautiful job. Our flowers were so fresh, color combinations perfect and so well organized!
I am one of those people with a million ideas, creative inspiration that ranges from 70s roller rinks, to art deco, to bohemian jungle and everything in between, and not enough free time to fully realize any of this without someone to keep me on track and on brand, so to speak. When my husband and I decided to get married in Mexico, I literally googled "best destination wedding planner" and happened upon Sarah Glick and the team at Brilliant. Aside from deciding to get married, this was the second best decision we made related to our wedding. From start to finish, Sarah was involved in the process. Our request was to keep it low key, and she was able to help us accomplish the best wedding ever at Nizuc Resort, while keeping us on budget and sane. She knows the ins and outs and dos and don'ts of weddings, but isn't afraid to stray from the traditional, if that's what you want, which is how we wanted to roll. I cannot imagine the actual wedding weekend without she and Chelsea in attendance. They calmly navigated the weekend without making it feel pretentious or ordering the guests around. The decor was on point and I can't think of a thing we would have done differently. I wish Sarah Glick was a life planner, because I could use her all the time, but I feel so lucky to have happened upon her and without a doubt, we wouldn't have had the best wedding ever without her. Money well spent.
“Very organized” and “timely and seamless execution” are words that don’t come close to capturing what Sarah and Chelsea have done for my wedding weekend, which included a rehearsal dinner, the wedding ceremony and reception, and the day-after brunch. Without them, my husband and I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy any of it. Though we’d contracted for their month-of coordination services since we’d made the major decisions by ourselves very early on, our one piece of advice to future brides and grooms would be that the BEP team are absolutely crucial in pulling off your wedding!

But such things all went a long way to making the day more comfortable and extra special for the both of us. In between the ceremony and cocktails, they set aside food for my husband and I to enjoy in private as well as a bottle of champagne. They knew my feet were hurting early on in the day, so they placed a pair of my favorite loafers under my chair at the dinner table. They fixed everything in my wardrobe that I had problems with, from getting a bracelet to securely clasp to pinning my train repeatedly throughout the evening. They can talk AV technicals with the sound guys while finishing off by their expert hand last-minute calligraphy on table cards. Nothing is too large a feat for Sarah and Chelsea to tackle!

I had the BEST experience working with Sarah Pease, Sarah Glick and the rest of the Brilliant Event Planning team! They helped make wedding planning not only easy, but stress-free and fun. I am type of person who likes to be on top of every detail and double check others (especially for something as important as my wedding), but very quickly after meeting the Brilliant Event Planning team, I was put at ease.
