Excellent place!
Great atmosphere and service.

The steak was one of the best i have ever had, rivals (and maybe beats) a lot of the chicago steakhouses.

Not great. Risotto was significantly undercooked. Steaks were low grade. Normally, if a single steak isn't great, I can write that off as a bad cut. In this case, all steaks at the table (different cuts) were low quality. For a self-proclaimed steakhouse, I would expect a decent grade of beef. In addition, after we checked for our reservation and were seated, three separate employees came to our table to ask our name followed by a 20 minute wait to take our drink orders.
Absolutely in love with this place. If we lived closer we would go once a month at least.

This is essentially a high-end steakhouse, and they do them very well and for a decent price. The other entrees might be more uneven - one of our party had the risotto, and it was pretty bland. Wine selection not quite as extensive as you might expect from a high-end steakhouse, but the cocktails were inventive takes on classics and very well done. Overall experience was good in main dining room, which is a bit tight seating but noise isn’t too bad.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Impact Collective for our wedding at The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From the onset, our full-service planner, Linda, showcased an exceptional level of dedication, creativity, and expertise.

One of the standout qualities of Linda's service was her impeccable communication. Throughout the year, no query was too minor, no concern too trivial. Linda ensured that we were always in the loop, responding promptly and effectively to every one of our needs. Her recommendations for vendors were spot on, and her keen eye for style and design transformed our venue into a dreamscape.

We hired IMPACT for our September 2023 wedding in January/February 2022. Throughout the year and a half leading up to our wedding, IMPACT was an amazing resource. We only hired them as a day of coordinator, but Eddie Fam was always a call or email away and ready to help us with whatever we needed. Eddie was able to recommend incredible vendors within our budget that we definitely would not have found otherwise. Leading up to the wedding, we worked with Stephanie M as our day of coordinator. Stephanie's energy and attitude on our wedding day was incredible. Despite the monsoon we had on our wedding day, Stephanie ran a tight ship and made the entire day go smoothly. We are honestly sad we won't be having monthly calls with IMPACT anymore, but we are so grateful for the role they played in making our wedding day a huge success. You will not regret hiring these wonderful humans for your wedding or event!

Full disclosure. My now husband and I had 3 months to plan our event. We were very upfront with potential planners about this. And we knew we needed an experience planner to pull off this secular Jewish and Filipino celebration for our first and final wedding. Eddie and his team answered the call. THEY CAME THROUGH.
We got the partial planning package. We wanted a relaxing rooftop wedding, surrounded by family and friends and good food and memories and that’s what we got.
Our wedding was a month ago and we’re still in an emotional high of how it was exactly what we wanted.

Eddie worked with us on pricing, wedding planning jitters, and matched us with Star. Star lives up to her name.
Star worked with us through two venue changes, handled all delivery logistics, major changes to our DJ playlist, and made sure my groom and I didn’t have to do a thing except enjoy our wedding day.
Day of, Star coordinated with catering to place the loose flowers I ordered along and it was gorgeous. She placed each name card and favor bag, and made sure that each high chair for my baby guests was exactly where they needed to be. I didn’t need to stress about a thing. She went above a beyond for our special day.

Impact Collective truly excelled at our August 2023 wedding at the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C.

Working with Eddie (Month of Coordinator), Linda (Event Support), and Audrey (Day of Assistant) was a pleasure, and their teamwork in preparing and executing our wedding was highly effective. Impact Collective expertly coordinated and managed 8 different vendors for our special day.

Prior to the wedding, Eddie and I had several productive meetings during which he provided invaluable preparation advice. In the week leading up to the event, we encountered some vendor paperwork issues with the venue, and Eddie promptly resolved these critical issues—his quick action and communication skills were a lifesaver. During the wedding itself, Eddie and Audrey flawlessly executed the wedding plan, making instinctive adjustments as needed, ensuring a seamless flow throughout the event.

Furthermore, Audrey was an exceptional Day of Assistant to my wife, offering invaluable support in various aspects, including dress assistance, food and drink service, logistics, and communication.

In summary, the Impact Collective team is a pleasure to work with. They are attentive, thorough, respectful, empathetic, and clearly passionate about what they do. We have complete trust in their ability to handle any future events.

Gloria and Eddie were so, so great for us on our wedding day and build up to it. We were fortunate enough to have Gloria as our Month-of coordinator, and she went above and beyond to keep us on task and organized for our wedding day last month. And we were very fortunate to have both Gloria and Eddie present on our special day – they were an excellent team and an essential part of our evening: they both worked together to make sure we felt prioritized during the evening and that anything that might have been stressful came to them and was immediately resolved. And they were both so encouraging…we really felt like we’d known them for years – they absolutely belonged at our wedding and I can’t imagine having done it without them. Thank you both so much for all of your efforts leading up to and on our wedding day.
If I could give less than one star I would. I haven't had my wedding yet. Back in June 2022 we toured it and we were super excited and we signed the contract and all the questions I was asking and got answers to it are now not the case in August 2023. They finnesed their way around it and now I'm paying the price for it. They have threatened with lawyers and always have an attitude when I speak with them, never told me about the ONE catering option they have. So Liz at Great Blue Harron is SUPER rude and doesn't care about customers. She talks to you like you are dumb. I am glad I canceled and would honestly tell people TO NEVER GET MARRIED HERE.
I went here for my Birthday and was not disappointed. The vibe of the place was exactly what I was looking for, elegant and fun. The drink selection was great for those drinking and not. The food was top tier delicious. In our party of 4 we split two apps, each had a main course and split 3 slices of dessert though we could have easily gone with just two. With beverages and tip it came to about $120 per person, is a great special occasion location or if your budget allows for an elevated experience.

Words truly can't explain the pleasure that it was working with IMPACT to carry out our wedding! Couples need to look no further than IMPACT if they are looking for above-and-beyond service from the nicest people you'll ever meet. I worked with Eddie and Gloria in making our big day come to life and they were nothing short of kind, capable, professional, and enthusiastic when it came to our wedding. Every step of the way they made sure everything was going according to our vision. Gloria was even able to secure extremely last-minute vendors for us when we made decisions to add last-minute details to our wedding day all at an amazing price that we couldn't have found on our own. They are also amazing leaders and expertly coordinated every last detail with our team of vendors. I genuinely believe they are the reason our wedding day went so smoothly because if there were any problems we and all our 250 guests still don't know about them to this day! Beyond the logistics, on the day of Gloria consistently checked on our emotional state and encouraged us to be present and leave all the stress to her. With such genuine and passionate people on your side, you will remember them not only for the amazing wedding they will help you bring to life but also for the kind and supportive people that they are. As I told them, I can't possibly remember our wedding day without remembering the amazing people at IMPACT!

The Barn Steak House truly lives up to its name, seamlessly transforming a barn into a tasteful and whimsical restaurant. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the delightful details that added a unique touch to the ambiance. The bar drink menu, filled with playful and creative options, brought a sense of fun to the evening.
The dinner menu, I was impressed by its simplicity and focus on honest, good food. The dishes showcased high-quality ingredients and were prepared with skill and precision.
What truly sets The Barn Steak House apart is the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their attentiveness and friendliness made me feel like a welcomed guest in their own home. The genuine care and hospitality extended throughout the evening, elevating the overall enjoyment of the meal.
We had our wedding here in May 2023 and had a really amazing experience working with the staff and the caterer at Woodlands. In leading up to the wedding, both teams were always very responsive to our questions and easy to work with. The day of the event, the staff was helpful during set up, had prepped the linens we dropped off the day before, and ensured that the catering went smoothly. The caterer went above and beyond for our event as I have multiple food allergies, and they created a custom menu to be served for the day completely free of my allergens. Additionally, they adapted the bar menu offerings to ensure those would be safe as well. On top of this, they adapted to individual guests who had their own allergies, so everyone was able to be well fed, safe, and enjoy the night. At the end of the day, the staff on site helped us tear down the event, providing us bags and helping gather items of ours from the tables. Overall, Woodlands was an amazing choice for a venue and Great Blue Heron was a fantastic caterer.

What an awesome venue! Jeanne was such a joy to work with. She is so thorough and great at what she does. I can't wait to work together again soon!
Overall, we loved our wedding at the Woodlands at Algonkian and would do it again. They were even flexible when we had to unexpected move our wedding up a month (8 months out from the original date) and didn't charge us a fee. If we were rating just the venue itself, and staff, we would give it 4.5 starts while Great Blue Heron (the mandatory catering company) would receive 3 stars.

The venue was beautiful and the staff readily answered all of our questions over the year leading up to our May 2023 wedding with 70 guests. The outdoor arch, inside stone fireplace, bridal suite, buffet room, and main reception space were all clean and beautiful and made our day special. The price was also reasonable. Our small complaints with the venue/staff were 1) the staff was always quick to answer our questions, but didn't always provide very detailed responses; 2) to make payments they emailed a credit card authorization form with no information filled out (amount due, amount paid, etc); 3) the fire pit was not lit for our wedding, even though we asked specifically for that to be written into the contract; and 4) we never saw the day of coordinator on our wedding day.

As for Great Blue Heron, the food was amazing (both apps and dinner). However, many of our guests complained that 1) they never saw all four types of apps that were being passed or that they only got one app (our wedding was only 70 people and we were supposed to have over 400 apps total); 2) the salads were picked up when guests went to the buffet, even though they had just sat down and didn't get to eat the salad; and 3) drinks were picked up when only half full during dancing. We, the couple, also found Great Blue Heron to be a bit difficult to work with leading up to the wedding. We typically only got timely responses if we sent our questions along with a payment. We also found that things we communicated to Great Blue Heron (menu, guest count, etc) were not passed on to the venue staff so we had to have many conversations twice.

What a unique venue! Attended a memorial service, surrounded by super cool cars. Staff was great, the set up flawless. A true gem.
What a lovely venue for a wedding! We photographed a number of couples getting married at The Woodlands at Algonkian, and we loved how perfect the facilities are for a marriage celebration. The outdoor ceremony space is absolutely lovely. You exchange your rings and vows under a cute pergola, and the slight embankment on which your guests sit means there are no bad seats in the house. The reception space is indoors, and is large enough to accommodate a pretty sizable wedding. The most notable elements there are the huge glass windows that look out onto the verdant golf course and the old stone fireplace on one side of the room. So if you like the idea of a wedding venue in a beautiful rural setting that also has all the amenities of an indoor facility, The Woodlands at Algonkian could be a good fit for you.
We had a very positive experience with IMPACT Collective. We ended up going with the month-of coordination since my husband and I are both big planners and wanted to do a lot of it on our own. We knew, however, that we would absolutely need help when it got closer to the big day. We started off working with Eddie about a year out from our wedding, meeting with him several times to communicate our overall vision. Eddie was fantastic to work with and was super knowledgeable and eager to answer the many questions we had. He also provided helpful advice to deal with an ongoing issue we had with a vendor. About 2 months out from our wedding we were assigned a lead coordinator, Gloria, for the month-of planning. Gloria was excellent - she was always available and very responsive to our questions. She proactively offered her assistance with ordering last minute decor, coordinating with vendors, ironing out the timeline, and organizing our seating chart. On our wedding day, Gloria and her assistant worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have pulled it off without Gloria! Overall, we are very pleased with our decision to go with IMPACT Collective and would highly recommend them to family and friends!

Had reservations here when we were in town for Easter weekend. We dined here last year and had a fantastic meal, so we decided to come back this year. Appetizers were good, but my wife ordered a Vodka Tonic, which was either Vodka water, or Vodka Flat Tonic. We sent it back, which we usually don't do, and the next one was fine.
Everyone in our party ordered the Filet cooked medium. They arrived and 3/5 were rare, and the others were Medium Rare. My wife's potatoes were also cold. The 3 rare steaks were sent back and they sent 3 new steaks. Again, we generally don't send items back, but they were not edible for my kids.
Now, I get that issues happen, but usually when things like this come up, the manager stops by and checks on the table. Sometimes they even comp part of the meal. (Drink, Dessert or something.)None if that happened. Suffice to say, the whole experience was disappointing.
Wouldn't rule out coming back, but I highly doubt that we will.

What a unique venue for celebrations! The Rev Room stands out if you want a truly memorable event. Staff is great and so accommodating!
Excellent meal in a warm atmosphere! The space feels intimate and warm despite it being a high ceiling, concrete floored barn… great design. Also manages to feel casual and elegant at the same time, with both the design and ambience. The meal was excellent. We shared the chopped salad, filet mignon with horseradish which was cooked perfectly and the red wine glaze is an excellent touch, the robuchon mashed potatoes and mushrooms which were both excellent sides, the crab spaghetti which has a spice to it and a ton of perfectly cooked crab, and the pecan streusel carrot cake. Everything was amazing, would recommend every dish. Worth the trip from the city up to Evanston for a meal that rivals the best steakhouses in Chicago, including all those hard to get resy Hogsalt restaurants.
This location is always so accommodating of our car club. It's our favorite place to hold events. The staff is really helpful in making everything just right. It's also nice to stop by during the week and look at what new cars have come in. But to have a car themed event is just over the top! Thanks Flemings and the Rev Room for supporting us!

Eddie and his team made our dreams come true.

We got engaged in April 2020 - during COVID when everything was so uncertain. We had very specific tastes and after being together for 10 years - we knew that we wanted a wedding that really reflected who we are individually and as a couple. Eddie worked with us to achieve our industrial bohemian vision and remain within our budget.

From landing us the PERFECT venue - Capital Turnaround; to a wonderful graphic designer, Max, who created a truly unique and cool invitation suite; to linking us with Spilled Milk, a catering company that merged our Cajun and Vietnamese cultures in a truly inventive way; to his quest to find us the perfect day-of coordinator in Trish — signing on with him is what made our wedding a fairytale. He helped to negotiate every contract. He made sure that our concerns were communicated and advocated on our behalf. His reputation in the industry was apparent in the respect that each of our vendors clearly had for him.

He always had our backs and was honest with us. We went through a number of potential day-of-coordinators - not because of availability, but because as soon as Eddie saw that they wouldn’t be a good fit, he would immediately look for someone else. This could have been panic-inducing, but I wasn’t scared. He was always transparent with us and I trusted him. I knew if he thought a change needed to be made, it was for good reason. And Trish, who ultimately became our coordinator was perfect. She understood me immediately, came in with suggestions of ideas I didn’t even know I wanted! Her idea to mix lounge seating from the venue in as the ceremony seating truly made our wedding spectacular. I felt like I was getting married in an intimate ceremony in a living room. Seeing all of the little children piled on a giant ottoman over my husband’s shoulder is one of my best memories of that day.

He helped us navigate through the overwhelming options; provided a planning tool that made everything from design, to tracking payments, to guest seating a breeze; helped to schedule all of our meetings with vendors (you would be surprised just how helpful this is - cutting down on preliminary email communications with vendors really reduces stress) and made sure that we were protected in every contract. This was particularly important when planning during the peak of COVID. We needed to be sure that if our wedding needed to be cancelled or postponed, that we wouldn’t lose out on money. He went over every proposal and contract to make sure that we were covered in case of disaster.

He made us feel like we were his most important, if not his only client. After working with him for nearly 3 years - he truly feels like family. He got to know us as a couple and that definitely showed on our wedding day.

Fete knows how to turn a beautiful event into UGLY. Stupid curtains that did not fit. Hanging Japanese lanterns , awful florist table settings , and misplaced tables too close together. How does this company stay in business ?

Great setting on the edge of a golf course, the event I went to had a great lunch buffet with salads sandwiches and fruit. Not sure if it was catered in-house. The great room easily accommodates 150 people.

My son attended a bar mitzvah here and had an amazing time. I wish I could have stayed after dropping him off - it looked so cool. It's such a unique venue and the kids (and chaperones) all had an amazing time.
I married in 2018. September in this place. When I ask inquiries, quick response and easy to book appointment. Very affordable price for us with special holiday discount. Large own parking lot-no confusion and no charging fee. Large hall with high ceiling, extra room for catering service which available bring my own choice. I have option to choose that do ceremony inside or outside. I chose outside yard area right infront of venue.there is ni e wood arch in there so I decorated with flower and white curtains. They offered table and chairs that what I needed and setting before on time . Wood floor for dance space too. Large windows I can see that beautiful green trees with large golf yard. We has photo shot in there too. It came out so beautifully with nature! My wedding was so perfect in this place. High recommended.
The Woodlands at Algonkian was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the one. We loved the rustic yet modern look and every staff member we encountered was very nice and helpful. Jazmine was super attentive to all our needs leading up to the wedding day. DJ, the kitchen captain, was super welcoming and made sure we were well fed on our wedding day.

Overall this venue exceeded our expectations. Everything was beautiful and perfect!

Unsafe wedding planner, we provided staffing services for Fete over the course of two years. Fete’s ideal of a business “truly extra ordinary” are far from what they promise and deliver, on three out of the high-profile weddings my company assisted Fete, the staff has always been illegal, has not being required to pass a drug test nor a background check. On the last event February 2020 Fete convinced the weeding party to proceed in the middle of a pandemic, with leaders of Fete knowingly of two employees have had the symptoms of COVID-19 requested them to work and mingle amongst guest, this issue was also brought to the attention of Kanoko Yoshimoto, who only after one of the employees fainted inside one of the rental trucks was allowed to retired to his hotel and at no point there was an ambulance requested. Fete at every event we have had assisted, all employees had being mistreated, cursed, embarrassed etc. as the owner Jung Lee delivers feedback to them in public. My advice for future events with Fete is to require background checks for its staff and have it under contract.

Endless was the best AV team I’ve ever worked with. The main difference between them and other productions companies is that they really take time to understand event and client’s needs, so they can provide customized production plan. We had our wedding at this venue a couple of weeks ago. We loved the location, the staff, the food and everything in between. Special thanks to Maren for making this experience so easy. She was quick to respond, easy to work with and overall a really nice person to work with. The food, well we can say enough good things about it, we loved it all. They were nice enough to let us bring a couple of recipes from our country to make for our guest and even our families gave it thumbs up. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no more. The value for what you get is more than worth it. They met and surpassed our expectations!

Neighbors Together has partnered with Sequence for the past two years to plan and execute our largest annual fundraising event to support our mission to end hunger and poverty in central Brooklyn. Sequence is a highly effective and creative group of event managers and creative thinkers. They are fully supportive from soup to nuts, and as a marketer, you can feel completely comfortable entrusting them with your event. Every detail is worked through, and if there are ever last minute issues or adjustments, their team on staff is incredibly efficient, intelligent, motivated. Sequence worked with the Low Income Investment Fund (a nonprofit community development financial institution) on a 200-person CEO transition event at the Edison Ballroom in NYC. They helped us find and manage the venue relationship, developed a detailed run-of-show, managed the design and print of all graphics, and even added additional support staff and a stage manager last minute to ensure a smooth event. Sequence was professional and very quick to respond to all our requests. They have in-house graphic designers and printers with quick turnaround times. We appreciated that they always offered us high and low-end options to fit our budget, and double checked the smallest details. If you have it in your budget to hire Sequence, they know the NYC space very well, and are a pleasure to work with! Our event was a success in large part to their hard work, professionalism and sage advice.

Our group has been working with Sequence Events for almost 10 years and I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are. Dana and her team are extremely professional and easy to work with. We host a huge (800+ attendees) awards program every year at Chelsea Piers in NYC and Sequence never fails to amaze.
